Why do you
want to be a knight?
The reason I want to be a knight is to be
someone, people would look up to be a role model. To work for the people of HW,
to ensure that everyone in HW has a fair chance at everything that they can be
part of the community that has accepted me in, inspiration came when I first
started the game, the knights were always those people who inspired someone to
be part of a community, to keep things safe and parentally insured so this game
be a community for everybody.
What do you
hope to accomplish?
As I said
before in the last question, by objective as a Knight is to listen to all
people. And have their voice said out in the Knight and Guardian halls. To give
even the smallest of people a voice, to ensure everyone can be happy. As did,
HW has accepted me as part of their great community, I wish to help that. To be
loyal to the place that has treated me so kindly that I have now a dedication
to other people. I hope to accomplish what others may have not yet. To think of
the ideas that no one had thought yet. To bring the voices of people who do not
and to ensure everyone is in a safe playing environment, stress free and kind.
I wish to bring other people new, to join this great community. To be their
kind of role model, for what HW has done to me as a person.
If you could change one of the existing rules, which one and why?
The only
rule that I have seen that seems questionable is the name change rule. # 14. This rule states that hand me down characters will not
be able to change their name. This rule is understandable but what seems
questionable is the fact that even if you have the consent of the original
owner, the change is still not possible. To me this feels a little unfair
concerning that that owner now does not have the freedom he or she should have
with his character. Even with written consent, now I do not know if this has
already been resolved, I was no informed entirely on the verdict so I apologize
if this has already been said.
How long
would you like to be a knight?
If I can
keep up my duties and still have time for them all I would work for a term of
at least a year or so but that remains to be seen. I cannot see into the future
but I do wish that if I am a Knight that people will like and want. I will do
in my power to stay for as long as I can.
What would
induce you to step down from that position?
That all
depends I will only be a Knight for as long as I can still handle my
responsibilities, if at any time I cannot or do not have time for my duties I
will step down from Knighthood.
Currently
there is an issue in front of the knights and guardians. Unlike a knight, a guardian can be a lord of
a province. As such, he can ban others
from his province, but he himself can not be banned if another lord takes the
province from him. What are your views
on this?
My views
are simple, it seems unfair yes. And it should be changed, even if they say
that it’s their perk to be able to be so kingly they can’t be banned. Knights
and Guardians are servants to regular people; they are not higher persons to
command people to their doing. But I do know that the Guardians already know
better than this and would never treat people unfairly. My opinion is that if
the person is responsible enough they can have power as long as they do not
upset the balance of things. Only using their power to keep the balance not
upset it. If someone took the province from a Guardian, the guardian would do
well to just back off honorably and be fair because he/she knows the person
cannot ban them back.
Your feelings about other knights.
Have you had any problems with them?
Should a
knight allow exceptions? If so, why
My feelings the other knights
is good, I am friends with all of them in some way and know them all good
enough to work with them, I have never had problems with any of the knights
throughout my time in HW. I in fact work closely with them; learning from them
how a Knight should act and what being a Knight really is maybe you could call
me a Knight Squire. I do whatever I can if a Knight asks for something. And
learn from them also like a student and a teacher. And I would continue to
learn from them to be the best knight I could be.
A knight should not allow
exceptions, if say it’s someone beloved you should still do you duties to have
things fair. If they don’t understand that, it is their problem. Knights and
Guardians are there to help keep balance, never to upset it.
