Chapter 3: Unknown Infiltration

            “Will she be alright?” Thitaya asked worriedly to the nurse “She wont around in awhile the bullet was coated with a poisonous substance, I’ve removed it all from her body but it will take awhile for the anesthetic to wear off.” Thitaya breathed a silent relief and turned to nurse she had darkish brown hair and soft smile to her face. Thitaya smiled back to her weakly and nodded “Thank you doctor”  Thitaya looked around the sickbay and back to her friend on the bed “Everything’s going to be fine …” Thitaya said to herself lowly, “Umm Miss Markson” Thitaya blinked and turned behind her to door at the uniformed man, “Yes?” Thitaya answered, “Captain Edwards wants to see you in his office.” The man added “But I-“ “He wishes to see you now miss Markson” the man interrupted her, Thitaya grumbled under her breath and nodded casually I’m guessing he wants me for questioning … Thitaya thought in her head as the man turned around and waited for her I guess I should go …she turned to her friend still on the bed sleeping I wont be long Rogan …she sighed and walked after the man who then started leading the way, Thitaya followed closely looking around at the Earth vessel. Thitaya hadn’t seen a real Earth vessel before but she was astounded at the aesthetics of the craft, she could see how they were quite powerful, the particular ship Thitaya was aboard was a middle class battle cruiser which was the ship that came to their aid once Thitaya had flicked on the SOS, the battleship had several armaments, plasma missiles, beam weapons, several pulse guns throughout the hull and on each side of the ship were 2 horizontal lines on each side of the ship, they were used for ship side to side battle or even planetary bombardment, the lines across the ship were all about 20 torpedo launchers in each line segment, the Earth battleship was also capable of firing T94-U missiles or Planetary  Tomahawk Missile.

            Ten minutes later Thitaya pushed the button beside the captain’s door, the door beeped and opened, Thitaya stepped inside, captain Edwards was sitting his desk working the computer, he was a 24 year old man brownish hair a with a hard face. Thitaya gulped and walked forward, the captain looked up from his computer “Miss Markson I presume?” the captain said with no emotion “Yes sir …” Thitaya replied with a slow nod,

“Take seat” the captain insisted. Thitaya moved forward and took a seat in front of the captain’s desk, “The doctor tells me your friend will be up and well soon, if you care to tell me … exactly what happened there on the transport” the captain stated, Thitaya nodded and slowly explained what had happened onboard the transport. The captain nodded slowly and turned to his computer on the desk and typed some stuff in, he turned the screen to Thitaya, it showed a display of a bullet rotating “These are the bullets we removed from the crew members of the transport … and these” the monitor switched to a different kind of bullet a bit more longer than the other “These are the ones that those Special Ops unit as you say were shooting at you” the captain explained slowly, Thitaya was silent she knew what he was saying This can’t be … the bullets that were used on the crew members are … the same ones outfitted in the same pistols as the ones the Command School gave us … what does this mean? “As you can see Miss Markson … the weapon that was used before the “Special Ops” unit came, are the ones fitted in the same kind of weapon as yours, meaning you, Rogan and everyone else from the command school are suspects of this incident.” The captain explained calmly, Thitaya was silent lost in her mind what the hell …how can this be …arrgg… “Miss Markson?” “Yes?” Thitaya answered “Is something wrong?” the captain asked emotionlessly “I just need to think something out …”

“Well then you may go if you like, we will talk later when your friend awakens” Thitaya nodded to the captain and rose from her chair and slowly heading out of the room. Thitaya closed her eyes and leaned on the wall in the corridor as she exited This is strange … could one of the graduates have been a spy or something … I should get back to Rogan Thitaya pushed herself away from the wall and started back to the sickbay having a little trouble finding her way around, when she got there, the sickbay was almost empty the nurse was at her computer working out some things and Rogan was still asleep. The nurse looked up at Thitaya and smiled “Oh Rogan hasn’t woken yet, she won’t in quite awhile” the nurse explained “Why the change?” Thitaya asked, “The anesthetic has worn off but she’s still asleep herself, why don’t you come back later?” Thitaya nodded and turned around then turned back around again “Say I didn’t get your name” Thitaya said. “Oh, Nicole Heartland” the nurse answered, smiling. Thitaya smiled and bowed slightly “Thank you for your help Miss Heartland” Thitaya turned and walking out of the sickbay.
