- Akira(movie) - Akira begins on July 16, 1988, when what was believed to be an atomic bomb was dropped on Tokyo, completely destroying the city and marking the beginning of WWIII. Thirty-one years later, Neo-Tokyo has sprung from the ruins of the old city and is experiencing a prolonged period of civil unrest caused by student uprisings, political instability, and, most destructively, biker gangs. One of the members of these biker gangs, Tetsuo, is detained by the military after a near accident with a strange young boy. After recognizing innate psychic ability in him, the military begins using Tetsuo as a test subject to channel Akira, a source of unimaginable power and the cause of the explosion that destroyed the original Tokyo. However, the military's plan backfires, and instead of locating the source of Akira's power, Tetsuo becomes a medium for it. Endowed with incredible psychic powers that make every one of his destructive impulses a reality, Tetsuo begins to go on a rampage that threatens to completely annihilate Neo Tokyo.
- Berserk - Berserk is the story of a young swordsman named Guts (Gatts, Gattsu, Gats, Gutz... Miura uses Guts so that's what I'll use) and his journey towards something that will change his life and all those around him forever.Guts eventually joins the Band of the Hawk, a legendary army of bandits and mercenaries that will attempt to reach for the heavens with Guts as their right hand. The series is the telling of their ascension towards the one goal that their leader Griffith has seen, to rule absolutely and attain his own kingdom. The band of the hawk also introduces us to Judeau, Pippin, Rickert, Corkus, and most importantly for Guts, Caska.
- Chobits - It's about an 18-year-old guy named Motosuwa Hideki who lives in the country on a farm. After repeatedly being rejected by several universities, he finally decides to go to Tokyo and attend a cram school!
- Cowboy Bebop - It's set in a future (A.D. 2071) where earth's population has escaped to space. The story narrates in 26 sessions the adventures of the spaceship Bebop and of his crew of bounty hunters. The main character is Spike Spiegel, followed by Jet Black; during the various sessions will also join the crew Faye Valentine, Ed and the dog Ein.
