Welcome
to the DU attack guide. This guide mostly covers the more advanced
techniques and attacks in Dragonball Z. This section will become even
larger when the Dragonball attacks are put in. Just click on the letter of
the attack you would like to see and it will take you right there.

|
Absorption |
|
This is attack allows the user to absorb another person. When the
user absorbs a person, it gives them their powers and in some cases, their
clothing. |
|
There are 2 ways to absorb a person. Cell uses his tail to suck in a
victim like a vacum. Majin Buu cuts off part of his body, then hides it
and when he feels it's the right time, he will make that disconnected part
of his body suround and trap the vitim. He then molds that part with his body. |

|
Acid Spit |
|
This attack is used to spray the opponite with a acid that will damage
badly if not kill them depending on where they are hit. It is the
Saibamen's most powerful attack |
|
Being an Alien, the Saibamen have weird and unusual techniques. This for
example is very strange. The saibamen have a special cavity in their heads
that stors this acid. They can the open that compartment at will and
"spit" out the acid |

|
In Dragonball Z, almost everyone can do this technique. This technique was
first used and mastered by Master Roshi and Goku (when he was a child).
After a while however, the technique became fairly easy for most fighters
to accomplish in DBZ. |

|
To do this, a person would have to move at a very fast speed, this leaves
an outline of their bodies which looks like them. This fools the opponent
into thinking they are still in one place. They can then
attack their opponent however they would like. |
In DBZ however, all of the fighters are so use to this, and because they
can sense ki, this has no effect. The user doesn't actualy try to create
the after image if is merely a reaction to moving very fast. The image
isn't as clear either. |

|
Big Bang |
|
This is a massively destructive technique. It is a very narrow, yet dense
beam that moves slowly towards its atrget. (It does not move that slow,
but slower than most other energy attacks.) |
|
To do this Vegeta/Vegeto would extend his arm infront of him making sure
his hand creates a right angle with his arm. |
|
|
Body Change |
|
This attack allows Captain Ginyu to swap bodies with whoever he is
fighting if they fall for the trick. The only part of the body that
changes is the mind. The power levels stay the same for each body. They
don't however get each others speaical attacks. Ginyu can, if he chooses, change bodies again (Example - Ginyu uses the attack on Goku, Ginyu's
mind is now in Goku's body, giving him more power. Then he can change
again back into his own body) |

To do this, Ginyu spreads out all of his limbs and yells Change Now! This
shoots out a bolt of energy, whatever it comes in contact with, it changes
with. |
|
|
Crusher Ball
|
|
This is Jeice's signature move and is his best. It is a fialy large ball
of a lightning like energy that destroyes everything it come in contact
with. |
|
To do this, he puts his extended right arm far back behind him. The
then forms a ball of energy on his left hand which is curved up over his
head. He then uses his right hand to hit the ball at his enemy. |
|
|
Death Ball
|
|
This attack was used on 2 occasions by Frieza. The first was to destroy
the planet Vegeta and all of the Saiyans (except for a few, Goku, Vegeta
Nappa, Raditz Brolli, Paragas and Taurus). The second
occasion was when Mechanicle Frieza landed on Earth and he was fighting
Future Trunks. |

To preform this technique, Frieza would put either his whole arm, or just
his index finger in the air. Then he would focus all of his energy to that
one spot. This created a huge ball of energy that Frieza would throw. |
|
|
Destructo Disc |
|
This is an extremely destructive attack. It can cut through
anything or anybody. it is also Krillin's signature move. Both Goku and
frieza have used this technique in a way, but now in the exact way that
Krillin has. |
|
To do this, Krillin would extend his right arm far over his head with his
hand parallel to the ground. He would then put his left arm close to his
side. He would the yell "DESTRUCTO DISC" and a flat circle of
energy would be formed on his palm. He can then trow it using a reverse Frisbee
throwing motion. |

Energy Absorption
|
|
This attack allows the user to absorb the energy o their opponent. There
are 2 ways to do this. The first one is by direct contact. If the user
touches someone directly, they can absorb their energy. The other way is
to absorb someone's ki attack when they try and blst them with it. |
|
To do this, you have to be an android with a energy absorbing circle on
the palm of your hand. Then, it will abosorb any energy it can find. |
|

Android
19, 20, Cooler, Frieza, Nappa, Piccolo

|
Eye Laser
|
|
This user of this first concentrates their energy then blasts it out of
their body in 2 very concentrated lasers, one from each eye.Depending on
the user, this attack can kill. |
|
To do this the user has to concentrate their energy, then look at your opponent
and let it fly. |
|
|
Final Flash
|
|
By fall the most powerful attack Vegeta has, and one of the most powerful
attacks in DBZ. This attack takes a while to charge up, but because of its
massive damage, it is worth it. |
|
This attack is preformed by first extending your arms, with your palms
touching each other. Your fingers are pointing outward, the opposite of a
kamehameha. Then, when ready to release, the user says "Final
Flash" |
|
|
Finger Beam
|
|
This attack is a lot like the eye laser, except the beam comes out of the
index finger. |
|
To do this the user points their index finger at their target, then
concentrates their energy to the finger and lets it go. |
|
|
Galic Gun
|
|
The Galic Gun is one of Vegeta's signature moves. It is also one of his
older and more powerful attacks. It is a lot like the Kamehameha, exept
the hand placement is different and you twist your body quite a
bit. |
|
To do this, Vegeta will fly into the air, wind up by twisting his body
around, then charge up, concentrate his energy, then im at his target, an
blast them. |
|
|
Dende,
"healing Namekians"
|
|
Heal
|
|
Namekians are separated into 2 groups, healers, and fighters. The healers
have the power to...heal. The healers can return someone's power
and energy to the way it normally was. They can also heal the wounds
someone gets from battle in a instant. |
|
To do this, the healer puts their opened hands over the wounded person.
They then concentrate their energy to that person. They will be back to normal
in seconds |
|
|
Human Extinction Attack
|
|
This attack was used only once in DBZ series. It was used by Super Buu to
kill all of the humans on Earth. This attack looks a lot like pink
fireworks. After they were shot up, they flew around the world and killed
every human on earth, except for the people at Dende's lookout. |
|
To do this, Buu extends his arm high above his head, then extends his palm
and finds the ki of all of the humans on Earth. Then he shoots a massive
amount of "fireballs" into the the air and they fly all over the
world, killing everything in their paths. |
|
|
Instant Transmission
|
|
This technique was taught to Goku while he was on Yardrat. This technique
allows him to travel anywhere in the universe as long as he can find the
person's he wants to visits Ki. |
|
First, Goku puts his index and middle finger on his forhead. Then, he
searches for a sertain persons ki that he wants to go to. Then using a
special movment, he is "warped" there. |
|
|
Kaioken
|
|
this attack is a power up where the Goku can double triple or even power
up 10x stronger! If the susers power level is 8000 (the power level vs
Vegeta where he uses this technique) and you do a 4x kaioken, his power
level would be 32000. This attack powers up up massively, howebet, this
damages Goku greatly. |
|
This power up looks just like a normal ki power up. To do this techniwue,
you foucus all of you energy and then Goku yells out what he is going to
multiply hi power by. Goku's body is then surrounded with red ki and you
speed increases grealy. Then, when he is finished with the attack, his
body sustains great damage. |

Kamehameha (Wave)
|
|
This attack is originally created by Master Roshi. After Goku learns how
do to it (by seeing it done once in DB) it becomes his signature attack.
This is a very powerful ki attack. After "shooting" it, the
power and speed of the blast can be controlled allowing the user to make
if more powerful if necessary. |
|
To do this attack, the user first puts his palms together in front of his
body and yells "KA". Then, they bring their palms towards the
right side of their hip and yeall "ME" (pronounced MAY). Then
while the hand are still at their side they yell "HA ME". Then
they bring their hands out infront of them and yell "HA". |

Saibamen Chaozu,

Kamikaze
|
|
This is just another name for self-destruct. This is used as a last resort
to destroy your opponent is nothing eles is working. This is used a few
times in DBZ because the enemy that's attacking earth is too powerful. It
only works once when the Saibaman preformed it. |
|
To do this the user powers up greatly then, when the appropriate time
comes, they "explode" themselves hoping everything around them will be
destroyed. |

|
Masenko
|
|
This is Gohan's signature move and is as powerful as the Kamehamhea. He
uses this a cupple time in the DBZ series, when he is younger |
|
To do this attack, Gohan puts his overlapped hands over his head and
creates an energy ball. Then, when it is ready, the ball is
"thrown" at the opponent in an overhead throw. |
|
|
Power Ball
|
|
This looks like a ki attack, but is not. It is a technique that is used in
place of a moon. to do this you make a specail ball of energy then launch
it up into the air and then it emits brute waves that changes the user
(must be a Saiyan with a tail) into the Oozaru state |
|
When the Saiyan thinks he needs to transform, he will launch this energy
ball into the air and then it goes into orbit. The ball then emits brute
waves that changes all of the Saiyans with tails around into the Oozaru
state. |

Piccolo

|
Regeneration
|
|
To preform this technique, the user's head has to stay intact. Then, you
can regenerate any part of your body. The part of the body that is usualy
regenerated is the arm. In the begining of DBZ, this technique was very
difficult to preform for the people who could and took a lot of energy.
However, as the series went on, it seemed to get easier and easier (like
most other attackes and techniques). However, for Majin Buu, his head
doesn't have to stay intact, he can just pull all of his body parts
togtether, no matter how many pieces they are in. |

To do this the user must concentrate thier energy to the spot where they
lost a body aprt. |
|
|
Tien,
Goku, Krillen, Cell
|
|
Solar Flare
|
|
This is Tien's signature move. It creates an extremely bright light that
blinds the opponent for a few minutes. It is very useful when you need to
power up or just escape your opponent for a while. |
|
First you put your opened hands near your eyes (palms facing you).
Then, emit a ki based light. |
|
|
Special Beam Cannon
|
|
A very fast moving, concentrated and dence ki beam. It is one of piccolo's
signature moves. There is 2 parts to this beam. One, is the main beam that
drils into the opponent, the other is a beam that circles around the other
one which adds to the damage to the enemy |
|
|
|
|
Spirit Bomb
|
|
This amazingly powerful ki ball can range in size from the size of a
average sized ki blast to a death ball sized
blast. It consists of most of the user's ki anlong with the ki of all of
his surroundings. It can be from rivers, lakes, trees, animals and other
humans. |
|
The Spirit Bomb can only be used by a puare hearted person who is using it
for good. To do this, the user places his hands over his head, fully
extended. Then, He concentrates and retrieves energy from all of the
living things around him. |
|
|
Stone Spit
|
|
This attack is preformed by Dabura. This attack is preformed once in DBZ
and is very easy to do. However you have to be a demon When you are spit
on by Dabura, your body turns into pure stone. If you are accidentally
knocked over (like Piccolo) you will die. (Piccolo didn;t die because he
can regenerate. |
|
If you are a demon and you know this technique, you simply spit on your
enemy. |
|
|
Super Ghost Kamikaze
|
|
This attack is preformed by Gotenks and Super Buu. The techniqe is first
tought up by the wild imagination of Gotenks. This attack is very deadly.
Whne the gohst is "exhailed" it has a mind of it's own, however
it will still boey thier creator. The gohsts can do 2 things. One is to
ram into the enemy. Once they touch him, they explode. The other is perform
a ki attack (Buu's version only). |

To do this, the user must know the technique (Unknown how to do), then,
just blow out the gohst and tell them what to do. |
|
King
Kai, Goku, Dende, Kami, Guldo, Babidi
|
|
Telepathy
|
|
This technique allows the user to communicate with another person thought
their mind. |
|
You have to be born telepathic, this technique is not acquired. |
|
|
Time Stop
|
|
This attack allows Guldo to stop time for however long he can hold his
breath. During this time Guldo can move about as if nothing happened while
everything eles is frozen. |
|
Do do this you must first know the technique. Then concentrate, yell time
stop then hold your breat and do what you want do. |
|
|
Freeza,
Zarbon, Cell, All Super Saiyans
|
|
Transformation
|
|
Transformation is a process where the user literaly transformes thier body
into a different state. In this state their body's appearence is different
and their power is increased demativly. There are many types of
transformations and varies from person to person and from race to race. |
|
This prcess is usualy preformed out of anger or the need to be at your
most powerful state you need to be in durring a fight. To do it you just
focus your energy and turn into your state that has more power than the
first |
