Yggdrasil System
The Yggdrasil system is the main "tool" for God to run the world. Like all computer systems and programs, it has bugs. Thus the human world have inexplicable mysteries now and then. Urd is the system admin, or she could be one of the many system admins, in charge of a specific function of Yggdrasil. Skuld too, works for Yggdrasil, as a debugger. Those squishy 8-legged bug-eyed insectoids are exactly what they are: BUGS. In order to debug the system Skuld has several handy tools, including an extendable hammer that is used for the actual debugging, special HUD glasses for detecting bug portals, and a modified rice-cooker which works as a bug-catcher that sort of look like the ghost trap in the "Ghostbusters". Belldandy and Peorth also used to be the system debuggers, as suggested by the manga volume 12. However, unlike Skuld, they work with some kind of "debugging machine"Oh My Goddess is property of Fujishima Kousuke, and in the US is distributed by Animeigo (the anime), and Dark Horse (the manga).
