Skuld is the youngest of the three goddesses, and makes her first appearance in volume 5 of the manga (Well, technically, she was shown briefly in volume 2, but that hardly counts, ne?), and episode 3 of the OVA series (Burning Hearts on the Road). She materializes out of the water in Keiichi's bathtub in the OVA, whereas in the manga, Urd is in the bath instead of Keiichi. Water is her link with heavens, and her only method of instant transportation (Unlike others, who has various methods of doing so). Skuld has black hair and dark brown eyes. In addition to being the Yggdrasil system's debugger, Skuld is very good (?) at building all sorts of mechanical inventions, although she makes mistakes here and there which results in some unpredicted results. Skuld is very found of ice cream (131's Ice Cream being her favorite) and she dislikes useless mecha. Urd takes advantage of this and punishes her by showing her all kinds of pointless machine.

131's Ice Cream

The name of this ice cream brand is a joke referring to the ice cream brand known in Japan as 31's Ice Cream. In USA, this is the brand known as Baskin Robbins. In addition to 131's Ice Cream, there are many other brand names Fujishima uses, such as the Fuli Films (Spoof on Fuji Films) Goad Year (Good Year), Willson (Wilson), and many others like that.

Nobel Scarlet

Noble Scarlet is Skuld's angel who belongs in category "Water", and is very pretty. Unlike the other angels, who are totally under the goddesses' control, she has greated freedon over what she does. This was due to the fact that Skuld hatched the egg when she did not have enough power as a goddess. Belldandy and Urd considered sealing the angel, but decided that it wasn't necessary because Scarlet didn't have enough power to do any real damage and she was not reckless in any way. Scarlet tried to help Skuld get close to Sentarou, a boy Skuld fell in love with. To do that, she pushed Skuld towords Sentarou (ahhh, isn't that cute?), and Skuld, thinking that left a weird impression on him, said if she ever did that again, she'd turn her back into the egg. Despite the order, she did it again, and as it turned out, it brought Skuld and Sentarou closer together, but as a result of what Skuld said earlier, she got turned back into the egg, which Skuld attached to a chain and wears as a necklace.

Skuld's History

Skuld was a lot chubbier and had a bushy eyebrows in her initial appearance in manga #5. She didn't go through a lot of transformation, as she is a relatively a new character. However, her hair is much less fluffy now, and is a little longer. Also, she gained power to write on people's faces with magic on manga volume 7, although they never showed it on the anime. From then on, she didn't gain any new power until the 13th volume, where she gains telekinetic powers. Oh, yeah, she also learned how to ride bicycles, too.

Skuld's personality didn't change much simply because there was no need for her to. However, she gets along slightly better with Urd now, and also gets along better with Keiichi. In anime version, she went through a huge personality transformation. In her first appearance, it looks like she helped out Keiichi only to make Belldandy happy, but on the fourth one, she is a lot nicer to Keiichi. Also, she started showing interest in romance sometime around manga volume 6, and thus she came across her collection of romance comics (shown briefly in volume 12), and in the 13th volume of manga, she falls in love with Sentarou.
