Senbee, who makes his first appearance in volume 7 of the manga, is sort of a genie which can cause bad luck., and he talks in mixed Japanese/English with heavy English accent. He is under Mara's control, but not completely (think of the geine in the movie "Aladdin"). Senbee is a parody of Hyakubee, the main character of Magical Super Asia, who is also cursed/blessed with the power of misfortune. Senbee's first appearance in Ah! Megami-sama followed shortly after Magical Super Asia's successful debut in Comic Afternoon. He also makes an appearance in the Tokuten Ou CD.
Senbee's History
Senbee only made three appearances in the entire manga series, and there really wasn't enough time for him to change.
Oh My Goddess is property of Fujishima Kousuke, and in the US is distributed by Animeigo (the anime), and Dark Horse (the manga).
