Law of Conservation
This is one of the few systems that was introduced early on in the series and still used in the series. It was introduced when Senbee made his first appearance. The law states that there is limited amount of happiness in the world, and when one person is made happy, another person is made unhappy, thusly equalling everything out. While normally this occurrs at random, when god/goddess or demons are directly involved, the force works on a more private level. For instance, when Senbee makes others unhappy, his own happiness increasesby that much. in volume 15 of the manga series, Belldandy gets drunk off of cola and grants wishes to everyone she sees. As a direct result from that, Keiichi gets more than his normal share of misfortune. ^_^ It seems that under normal condition, Belldandy adds more happiness to the closed system, so that noone else suffers from happiness she brought to Keiichi.Oh My Goddess is property of Fujishima Kousuke, and in the US is distributed by Animeigo (the anime), and Dark Horse (the manga).
