Princess Sasami/Tsunami
Princess of Jurai
Sasami is a nine-year old girl, and is Ayeka's little sister. 700 years ago, when Ryoko attacked Jurai, Sasami (who was around three or four)was wandering around the royal palace. She made her way to the room with the royal trees in it, and was looking around. The room itself is about 700 stories, Sasami was at the top. She was going around "speaking" to the trees. Suddenly a ship slammed into the palace, knocking Sasami off balance. Sasami fell 700 stories to her death at the bottom of the room. But at the bottom was Jurai's greatest tree, Tsunami. Sasami's little hand was touching the water around Tsunami. Tsunami sensed her, and changed into her human form. She assimilated with Sasami, giving her life again. Sasami had two little circle marks on her forehead. Sasami runs out of the room to find her nanny, and when hugging her, her mark changes to a split upside-down triangle. At the current time, Sasami thinks she is a puppet, a creation of Tsunami, but she isn't.
she is on the Ryu-Oh with Ayeka, and is the one to set Tenchi free from his prison (to play some games), and also stayed on Earth with Tenchi when their ship crashed. sasami is very intelligent for her young age, and her culinary skills are fantastic. She cooks all the meals, and does most of the house-work. Sasami sees Tenchi and Ryoko like an older sister and brother, and they see her as a little sister.
sasami has a great relationship with the friendly cabbit, Ryo-ohki, and is usually seen with her on top of her head. Sasami is frightened that if they found out her little secret, that they would leave her (ah, nine-year-olds). Sasami often has disturbing dreams. When awaking from these dreams, her mark is glowing. Tsunami is one of the three goddesses of the universe (Tokimi, Washu, and her)so that is why little Sasami has had precognitional dreams about Tokimi. Overall, Sasami is a cheerful, polite little girl who sees people for who they really are. She'll make a great leader someday. Maybe now you understand her.
