If I Could Change You - Written by PhantomScribe72

Chapter Seven

Videl was really pissed. She hadn’t seen or heard from Gohan all day. She’d called all of their friends looking for them, but no one had seen him. She couldn’t believe that he would stay away from home all day and not even bother to call her and let her know what he was doing. She had even turned on the TV to see if the Great Saiyaman was tied up with a burning building, natural disaster, or some other human tragedy, but there had been absolutely nothing on the news. Now, here it was past dinner time and still no word from him.

“Hell, he’s probably off somewhere trying to get some kid’s cat out of a tree,” she grumbled to herself. She figured that he’d come through the door with a bottle of wine or expensive perfume and beg her forgiveness. Well, she wasn’t going to fall for the romance bit this time. As far as she was concerned, he could take his gifts and shove them up his ass.

She heard the back door slam and she braced herself for a confrontation. “Now remember,” she said to herself, “don’t give in, no matter what kind of trinket he offers you.”

Gohan stomped into the kitchen and looked around expectantly. “Don’t you have dinner ready yet?” he asked curtly.

“Where the hell have you been?” she asked venomously, not even bothering to answer his question.

“I’m so sorry, Mommy, did I forget to check in with you?” he snapped.

Videl was more than a little taken aback by his manner. “A phone call would have been nice,” she muttered.

Gohan shrugged his shoulders. “Sorry,” he grumbled. “I was with Dad and Krillin. We went to Capsule Corp.”

“But I called Bulma,” Videl said. “She said she hadn’t seen you.”

“Well, that’s not very surprising,” Gohan said, rolling his eyes, “since we went there to see Vegeta.”

“Oh,” Videl mumbled. She couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t quite right. Gohan just wasn’t acting like himself. “Well, I didn’t cook anything because I didn’t know when you’d be home. I can fix you something now if you want.”

“No, don’t bother,” Gohan said. “It’s late. I’ll just fix myself some sandwiches.”

“OK, if you’re sure,” Videl sighed. “You’re right, it’s late. I think I’ll go up and take a shower.”

“Where’s Pan?” Gohan asked curiously.

“All the kids went out...to a circus I think. Goten said they were going back to Capsule Corp. to spend the night. I figured it’d be OK since tomorrow is Saturday.”

“Yeah, it’s fine.” He turned his back on her and walked over to the refrigerator. Videl waited expectantly for him to say something else, but he seemed to have completely dismissed her presence. She turned away slowly and walked out of the kitchen.

Gohan ate several sandwiches alone. He sighed heavily and admitted to himself that things were not going at all as he had planned. He had planned to come home and make wild, passionate love to her. He had thought that he was over his anger, but as soon as he had laid eyes on her, he’d felt the fury well back up in the pit of his stomach. He didn’t want to be mad at her anymore, but somehow, he just couldn’t help himself.

He sighed heavily as he cleaned up his dishes. He knew he was going to have to confront her about what she’d said about him. That was the only way that he was going to get over it. He turned off the light and steeled his resolve. He was going to get everything out in the open so that he could get on with his life. He straightened his shoulders and walked determinedly toward the bedroom.

Videl turned of the water and stepped out of the shower. Her mind was racing. Gohan seemed to be very upset about something, but she’d be damned if she could figure out what it was. She been wracking her brain all day trying to figure it out, but in the end she had come up empty.

She hated to admit it, but the truth was that she was disappointed that he hadn’t come home and tried to sweep her off her feet. The cold indifference he had shown to her in the kitchen was almost more than she could handle. She was definitely going to get to the bottom of this, she thought to herself as she wrapped a white cotton towel tightly around her body. There was no way she was going to go to sleep until she had her old, loveable Gohan back.

Gohan opened the bedroom door, still determined to read his wife the riot act for her comments to her friends. He stomped into the room... and promptly froze in his tracks when he saw his wife walk out of the bathroom clad only in a tiny, white towel.

Videl waited for a moment to see if he was going to say anything. “Gohan?” she asked hesitantly. “Is everything alright?”

He looked up at her face blankly. “Yes, everything’s fine.” He shook his head slightly, trying to clear it. He had been so mad at her when he’d come up the stairs, but now, he couldn’t even remember what he’d been so upset about. He ran his gaze down her body appreciatively. When he finally raised his eyes back to meet hers, he saw and understood the snug look they held.

“See something you like?” she asked seductively.

“Yes,” he answered lowly. “And I’m going to take it.”

Videl’s eyes widened in shock as he slowly approached her. He backed her up against the wall and ripped the towel from her body, throwing it carelessly in a corner. He dropped his head and claimed her mouth in a savage kiss. Videl moaned in his mouth as his hands found her breasts. She tugged restlessly at his at his shirt. He pulled away from her long enough to pull the shirt over his head. She ran hands along his muscular chest as he lowered his head to ravish her breasts.

“Gohan,” she breathed out, “please, now.”

Gohan smiled triumphantly and lifted her up into his arms. He carried her over to the bed and lay down on top of her. “I want you,” he ground out against her skin. Videl nodded her head frantically as he kissed her breasts hungrily. She wrapped her legs around his waist and ground herself against him roughly. “Please, Gohan.” She panted. “Please, now. I have to have it now.”

Gohan sat up and shrugged off his pants. He reached down and pulled her legs up around his neck. He kissed her deeply, thrusting his tongue deep into her mouth as his thrust his manhood deeply within her body. He pounded into her body roughly and deeply, over and over again. Videl screamed his name when he reached between their bodies and found her clit. He rolled it roughly between his thumb and forefinger even as he continued to slam in and out of her. Videl ground through clenched as her orgasm washed over her. Gohan called her name roughly as he exploded inside of her.

He rolled off of her onto his side and tried to catch his breath. Videl sat up and wrapped the sheet tightly around her body. “Gohan, are you alright?”

He turned over onto his back and looked at her closely. “Yes,” he finally answered. “I didn’t hurt you did I?”

“Hurt me?” Videl answered in disbelief. She crawled on top of him and kissed him tenderly. “It was...incredible.”

Gohan smiled and captured her mouth in a tender kiss. “I want you again,” he whispered against her lips.

“Well then,” Videl said with a sexy smile. “I think you should take me again.”
