The Megadigidestined
The Megadigidestined are the same old Digidestined we've grown to know and love, just kicked up a couple notches. Each transform by completing a test, and something crucial happens to the Digital World because of the transformation. What that test actually is is different for each person, even people with the same crests. (Take Davis and Matt, for example.) Each also recieve a special power, also different for each individual. For those Digidestined with two crests, one is always dominant. The guys wear armor, the girls have neat dresses, all with their main crest on the front. (Some of the guys have them on their helmets instead of on their brestplates, but that's unusual.) Their special gear is only present in the Digital World execpt in special situations.

The Freedom Spirits
Okay, so I didn't want to make a separate page for these guys. Who are the Freedom Spirits? They are the American Digidestined transported to the Digital World at the time of its cleansing and transformed with the same energy as used for the Megadigidestined. They resemble angels with cat eyes, and their only purpose is to guard the mysterious Light Castle from evil forces. The leaders of the Freedom Spirits are Michael and Willis, who each wear the US flag and carry golden scythes. They guard the entrance to Light Castle and are the only one of the Spirits who talk. They communicate telepathically with each other and the other Freedom Spirits. More in tune with the Powers than the Megadigis are, they also have less free will.
