The Saiyan Saga Episode 1: The Arrival of Raditz Five years after Dragonball ends, Goku goes to the Kami house, and introduces a new member to the Z gang, his son Gohan. Suddenly, a mysterious person appears, who reveals himself to be Raditz and Kakarot's, a.k.a. Goku's, big brother! Raditz has come to do the job his brother failed to do, wipe out the human race, and get Goku to join him! However, when Goku refuses to do so, Raditz spot's little Gohan's tale, and realizing he's Goku's son, kidnaps him, telling Goku that to get his son back, he must kill 100 Earthlings before tomorrow or Gohan will die! Episode 2: The World's Strongest Team Stunned by what just happened, Goku get's help, surprisingly, from his arch-enemy Piccolo! Putting their differences, problems, and such, the two agree to pair and go fight Raditz. But when the fight begins, they soon realize that their power combined is still not enough to defeat him! Episode 3: Gohan's Hidden Power Goku and Piccolo are loosing badly to the evil Raditz, and the future of earth looks dim. Suddenly, Gohan burst from Raditz's space capsule enraged from hearing his fathers screams and Raditz cruel laughs, and head-butts Raditz hard in the stomach. This gives Piccolo and Goku a chance to finish Raditz, but the price is Goku's life. Episode 4: Goku's Unusual Journey Goku has, as a last ditch effort, sacrifices himself in order to to kill Raditz. But before Raditz dies, he sends his two Saiyan comrades telling them about the Dragonballs, and informs Piccolo that two Saiyans stronger than himself are coming to earth. Goku, who is now dead, is on Snake Way and starts his journey down the long path to King Kia's planet. Meanwhile, Piccolo has taken Gohan with him to train to prepare for the approaching Saiyans. Episode 5: Gohan's Metamorphosis Piccolo has taken Gohan into a wastleland to train his incrdible power, leaving him there to survive alone for six months, but watching Gohan from afar. During this time, Piccolo sees Gohan transform into a huge ape during a full moon! Episode 6: Gohan Makes a Friend Gohan has gotten used to living in the wasteland, but he still misses home and parents. One day, he meets and helps an injured dinosaur, and they become friends. Later, Gohan's new friend is attacked by another dinosaur! Will Gohan be able to save his new friend? Episode 7: Trouble on Arlia The two Saiyans that Raditz spoke of, Vegeta and Nappa, are getting closer to earth, ready to look for the Dragonballs and gain immortality. On the way, the two decide to make a stop at Planet Arlia to have a little fun, which to these two Saiyan Warriors, means trouble. Episode 8: Home for Infinite Losers Goku has accidentally fallen off Snake Way into a land of no return. However, he meets two ogres there, and after a little chit-chat, they agree to show him back to Snake Way if he wins a little competition against them. Episode 9: Princess Snake's Hospitality The Z Fighters, Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, and etc., go to the top of Korin's to get special training to prepare themselves for the Saiyans. Back on Snake Way, Goku is nearing the end of the Snake Way, when he falls into the hands of the beautiful, and wicked Princess Snake. Episode 10: Escape From Piccolo Gohan is very homesick, and so one day, he escapes from the wasteland on his home-made boat. However his boat is wrecked is wrecked in a storm, but he's saved by orphanage children on an island, and makes some new friends. He then almost reaches home, when he's stopped by Piccolo, who reminds him that he's training is to save the earth. Episode 11: Showdown in the Past The Z Fighters are training hard at Kami's Lookout, but are becoming annoyed at how slow their training is going. Mr. Popo helps them by sending their spirits to the virtual reality Pendulum Room to experience the average Saiyan, and while learning about their enemy, be able to learn how to defeat the coming Saiyans. However they are totally overwhelmed by the Saiyan in the virtual reality room, and when they return from the Pendulum Room, they learn of the real, and even worse reality. The awful truth is that the two Saiyans coming are twice as strong! Episode 12: The End of Snake Way Gohan is back training hard under Piccolo, when one night Gohan transforms again in to a giant ape, and starts attacking Piccolo! Piccolo learns that a moon image is being projected from Goku's space pod, and is the cause of Gohan's transformation. Piccolo must destroy the pod and cut off Gohan's tail before Gohan destroys him! Meanwhile, Goku has finally reached the end of Snake Way and gets to King Kia's planet, only to discover the gravity there is ten time's Earth's gravity! Episode 13: A Fight Against Gravity...Catch Bubbles! King Kia agrees to train Goku, only if he can make King Kia laugh. Goku quickly does so, and the training begins, with the first task being to catch King Kia's pet monkey Bubbles. King Kia also tells Goku that his home plane, Planet Vegeta, had the same gravity, and that the two Saiyans coming are stronger than King Kia himself! This causes Goku to become much more determined, and he trains harder so he can beat the two Saiyans. Episode 14: The Legend of the Saiyans Goku catches Bubbles, and now must hit an extremely fast grasshopper named Gregory with a heavy hammer. Goku has mastered the gravity on King Kia's planet, which amazes King Kia, who decides to teach Goku the ultimate techniques, the Spirit Bomb and the Kaio-Ken. One day, Kin Kia tells Goku more about his Saiyan heritage, and that he is one of the only four Saiyans that survived when Plane Vegeta vanished. Soon, Goku will have to confront the remaining Saiyans. Episode 15: Black Day for Planet Earth Goku finishes his training with King Kia, ready for the battle against the Saiyans and starts hurrying back of Snake Way. While Goku is on his way back, the two evil Saiyans land on Earth, and announce their arrival by destroying an entire city! They pick up Piccolo and Gohan on their scanners and fly off toward them. So far, their only plan is to get the Dragonballs and wish for immortality, but if the Z fighters can't hold out until Goku arrives, may other things even worse occur? Episode 16: The Battle Begins...Goku Where are You? Krillin joins Piccolo and Gohan, soon followed by Vegeta and Nappa. Vegeta recognizes Piccolo as the one who told Raditz about the Dragonballs before killing him, and then reveals that Piccolo is an alien from the planet Namek. The Saiyans then proceede to grow plant monsters called Saibamen, and tell them to attack the Z Fighters just as Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha arrive. Episode 17: The Saibamen Strike The Z fighters show off their new skills and power against the Saibamen. However, the Saibamen are just a prologue to the real battle, against their creators Nappa and Vegeta. Episode 18: Nappa...The Invincible? Now that the Saibamen have been defeated, Nappa powers up, and gets ready to fight. He then picks Tien for his first victim, and though Chiaotzu tries to help Tien by using a sneak attack on Nappa, but Nappa incredible power prevents it, and anyone else from helping Tien. Piccolo decides it's time for a plan, but will it work? Episode 19: Tien Goes All Out Tien uses all of his powers to help Piccolo and Krillin attack Nappa before he gives out, yet Nappa is still easily beating them. Then just as Nappa is ready to destroy Piccolo and Krillin, Vegeta calls for a three hour pause to see if Goku will show up. Episode 20: Time's Up! The three hours are up, and Goku has arrived, so Nappa continues his attack. Suddenly everyone sense that Goku will arrive soon, and when Vegeta discovers that his power level is around 5,000, he orders Nappa to finish off the remaining fighters before Goku arrives! Episode 21: The Return of Goku Nappa knocks out Krillin, and then tries to destroy Gohan with a huge blast, but Piccolo steps in the way, sacrificing himself, which includes sacrificing Kami and the Dragonballs needed to bring everybody back to life! An enraged Gohan uses all his powers to avenge Piccolo, but Nappa is still to strong! But in the nick of time, Goku finally shows up! Episode 22: Goku Strikes Back Goku has returned, and he surprises everyone with his new power. Vegeta commands Nappa to stop and retreat, but the angry Nappa attacks Krillin and Gohan instead. But using his new Kaio-Ken technique, Goku stops Nappa, who asks Vegeta to help him, but the ruthless Vegeta kills him instead! Now it's Goku verse Vegeta! Episode 23: Goku vs. Vegeta...A Saiyan Duel Goku now must battle Vegeta, the Prince of Saiyans and the Strongest Saiyan, along with one of the crulest of villians, he killed his own partner for being injured! Goku uses the double Kaio-Ken, but when it fails, he breaks his promise to King Kia not to use the triple Kaio-Ken, and uses it, making Vegeta so made, he wants to blow up the earth! Episode 24: Vegeta..Saiyan Style! Vegeta realizes that Kakarot (Goku) is stronger than he expected, so he uses his ultimate power, by transforming into a gigantic ape! Now Goku is in trouble, but Krillin and Gohan, who are heading toward Master Roshi's, sense Goku's dilemma, and come back to help. While they hurry back, Goku tries the Spirit Bomb, but can he get enough energy in time? Episode 25: Stop Vegeta Now!! As Vegeta, the giant ape almost crushes Goku, Yajirobe cut's off his tail. Vegeta is really mad now, and attacks Goku, Gohan, and Krillin with a vengeance. Goku tells Gohan to fight Vegeta, so he can give the Spirit Bomb to Krillin. It works, so when Vegeta corners Gohan, Krillin throws the Spirit Bomb at him! Episode 26: Battle's End The smoke clears, to reveal that Vegeta is alive, even after being hit by the spirit bomb! And even though weakened and injured, he's still too much for Goku, Gohan, and Krillin! Vegeta prepares to kill Gohan, when Gohan's tail grows back, transforming Gohan into a giant ape, who attacks Vegeta with a vengence. |
