The Frieza Saga Episode 61: Password Is Porunga The battle of Frieza vs. Nail finally ends, and Nail tells Frieza that he's been stalling Frieza so that the Earthlings can summon the Namek Dragon Porunga! Realizing that the Ginyu Force has been no help in stopping the Earthlings, Frieza races to prevent Krillin and Gohan from making their wishes. However, Dende has already summoned the Dragon. Will Frieza stop Krillin and Gohan before they make their wish? Episode 62: Piccolo's Return Gohan and Krillin, with the help of Dende, have summoned the Namek Dragon Porunga, and start making their wishes. Although they get three wishes there is a catch, Porunga can only revive one person at a time. So they decide that the best thing to do is to revive Piccolo, so that Kami and the Dragonballs on Earth will reappear. Then they make their second wish and are about to make their third when an angry Vegeta appears! Will he or the oncoming Frieza stop them from making their final wish? Episode 63: The Fusion When Frieza realizes that the Namek Dragonballs are gone, Frieza is enraged and takes on Vegeta. Meanwhile, the newly revived Piccolo arrives on Namek, and discovers the badly wounded Nail. Piccolo agrees to fuse with Nail using an ancient Namekian fusion technique, because though Nail cannot continue to fight Frieza in his body, he can continue to fight in Piccolo's body. Now with Piccolo fused with Nail, will he be able to stop Frieza from destroying all life on Namek? Episode 64: Fighting Power Level: One Million? The evil Frieza tells of his dark history and the destruction of the Saiyan Planet Vegeta. But that's not all, he also has other secrets too, like the power to transform into an even more powerful stages! Then to make matters worse, Frieza announces that in his transformed stat, his power level is over a million! Krillin and Gohan start to battle the evil Frieza, and in the process Krillin makes the ultimate sacrifice! Are both Krillin and the earth doomed? Episode 65: Piccolo the Super Namek Gohan is badly injured during the fight with Frieza, and it seems like all is lost, when a refreshed Krillin jumps back into the battle and continues on against Frieza. This gives Dende enough time to heal Gohan, and for newly fused Piccolo to finally arrive on the battlefield. Now with Piccolo there, do Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta have what they need to take out Frieza? Episode 66: Deja'vu Piccolo is stronger than ever since his fusion with Nail, and in his all out attack on Frieza, it appears that he has the upper hand. But Frieza transforms again into an even more powerful and hideous form, and appears to be unbeatable! However Vegeta has a plan, but the question is, will it work? Episode 67: Frieza's Second Transformation The battle of Frieza verse the newly fused Piccolo continues as Piccolo tries to defeat the incredibly strong Frieza. And just when it seems like Piccolo might come out on top, when Frieza transforms again. Frieza is now even faster and better than before, and he demonstrates this by giving Piccolo a unmerciful bashing. Can Gohan and Krillin help Piccolo and what is Vegeta's plan? Episode 68: Another Transformation? Gohan is enraged at Frieza for hurting Piccolo so badly, that he attacks Frieza with a force that momentarily sends the tyrant to his knees. Gohan's sudden incredible power display gives Vegeta the inspiration to reveal his plan, which is to let Krillin beat him with inches of his life and then have Dende heal him in hopes that Vegeta will transform into the legendary Super Saiyan. Yet Freiza has his own plans and transforms yet again into his final and most powerful form! Episode 69: Dende's Demise Frieza has transformed into his most powerful and deadly stage, and starts on a ruthless assult, taking out the only person who cannot be healed by Dende, Dende himself. As Frieza continues, it's clear that that Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo are no match for the evil Frieza. Just when it seems that all is lost, a renewed Vegeta appears boasting of being a Super Saiyan and says he'll fight Frieza single handed. Is Vegeta really a Super Saiyan and does he have what it takes to get rid of Frieza. Episode 70: The Renewed Goku Even though Vegeta is stronger than before, Frieza is still just too strong, and Vegeta's dream of becoming a Super Saiyan lessens with every blow. Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo can't do anything but watch helplessly and wait for Goku who finally finishes his healing and races toward the battle. But will he get there in time before Frieza finishes off Vegeta? Episode 71: The End of Vegeta Goku is ready to fight and soon reaches the fight, but isn't in time to help Vegeta. The dying Saiyan Prince tells Goku in what few minutes he has left, to tell of his horrible and violent past. Now with new understanding of why Vegeta is who he is, Goku takes on Frieza. But why is Goku so fimiliar to Frieza? Episode 72: The Ultimate Battle With a new sense of understanding of his Saiyan heritage, Goku starts his battle with the wicked Frieza, and it seems like he's holding his own. But in a attempt to stop Goku, Frieza turns the Planet Namek into a large volcano-like battle zone! Can Goku stop Frieza before he turns Namek into nothing? Episode 73: Clash of the Super Powers Goku and Frieza continue their incredible battle of power and wits on Namek, with Goku performing a clever underwater attack that appears to put him on top. But when Frieza traps Goku in an energy ball, it appears that Frieza most certainly has the upper hand, as he starts bats Goku around like a pinball in the dangerous exploding ball, which is no fun for the trapped Goku! Episode 74: Frieza's Boast Frieza, in attempt to show his superior strength, says that he won't use his hands to beat Goku, but Goku shows him in a painful way just how wrong he is, making him eat his own words. Meanwhile on Namek, Captain Ginyu has done it again. He's switched bodies, only this time it's with Bulma, who is now trapped in the body of a frog! Episode 75: Bold and Fearless Captain Ginyu in Bulma's body, arrives at the battlefield, and Frieza powers up to half of his total strength, leaving Goku outclassed and out of luck. Can Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin help Bulma and return her to her normal form and what can Goku do to stand a chance against Frieza? Episode 76: Embodiment of Fire Goku is in desperate trouble when not even the Kaio-Ken attack has an effect on Frieza, who is only powered up half way! It seems like all is lost, when Goku gets some new inspiration in the form of a dream-like vision, and reaches a new level of strength and power. Episode 77: Trump Card To help him out of his slump, Goku has another dream-vision from Vegeta who gives him hope and encouragement. Even though Goku is now fresh and ready, he realizes that his only chance to take out Frieza is by using the Spirit Bomb. Episode 78: Keep the Chance Alive A surprise visit from the Ginyu Force on King Kia's planet leaves Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu shivering in fear, and elsewhere on Namek, Frieza stops Goku's weak attempts to gather energy for the Spirit Bomb. In order to buy the time needed for Goku to get the energy for the Spirit Bomb, Piccolo must fight Frieza, but can he hold out long enough? Episode 79: Power of the Spirit As a fight breaks out on King Kia's planet as Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu battle the Ginyu Force, on Namek Piccolo fights for his life as Goku collects energy for the Spirit Bomb. Finally Goku has enough energy, and hurls the enormouis Spirit Bomb at Frieza, who cannot stop it, and it looks like Frieza is gone and that the battle is over, right? Episode 80: Transformed at Last It seems like it's time to celebrate, but when Freiza reappears, the celebrations are cut short. With no more resorces avalable, Goku can do nothing but watch as Frieza KO's Piccolo and kills Krillin. Goku is enraged by what Frieza has done and undergoes a radical transformation. What has happened to Goku and who is he now? Episode 81: Explosion of Anger Goku, renewed and surrounded by a gold flame, proclaims that he is now a Super Saiyan, but this statement does not impress Freiza who is only curious about Goku new strength. However when the battle begins, Frieza learns in horror that Goku is superior to him in every possible way. Episode 82: Namek's Destruction In a desperate attempt to stop Goku, Frieza directs his attack at the planet Namek itself. Goku can't stop Frieza in time and can only watch as Frieza's energy blast tears through Namek's core. Things aren't looking good on Namek for Goku and his friends, as the once quiet planet starts to detonate! Will anyone survive Namek? Episode 83: A Final Attack With little time left before Namek detonates, Goku goes nearly all out against Frieza, but Frieza isn't beat yet and begins to power up to his maximum power. Elsewhere, Gohan and Bulma speed on toward Goku's spaceship as planet Namek falls apart around them. Can Goku defeat Frieza and get back to Gohan before planet Namek self-destructs, or will Frieza, who is now at 100% strength, be too much for the Super Saiyan? Episode 84: Approaching Destruction The battle between the strongest two fighters in the universe, Goku and Frieza, continues on, as back on earth the seven Dragonballs have been collected. King Kai has a plan that may both end Frieza and get Goku and company to safety, but can Kami and Mr. Popo use the Dragonballs before planet Namek explosive end occurs? Episode 85: Gohan Returns So far King Kai's plan is going well, and all of the Nameks' that Frieza killed have been revived. But not everything is going as planned, and as the Nameks start to stand, the powerful Super Saiyan Goku falls when Frieza attacks with a vicious force, making Gohan the universe's last hope against the wicked tyrant. Gohan, realizing Goku's defeat, returns to fight Frieza, but does he have what it takes to end Frieza, or is this really the end of Goku, Gohan, and all of earth's hope? Episode 86: The Last Wish The Nameks and Guru have been revived, thus making Porunga reappear and ready to grant one more wish. Plus, Goku returns and continues his battle with Frieza, and Dende speeds on toward Porunga so he can put the last part of King Kai's plan into effect. However, Frieza has a plan of his own, and that's to get his wish of immortality, and starts racing toward Porunga. If Frieza gets his wish, will there be any hope left? Episode 87: Duel on a Vanishing Planet With everyone except for Goku and Frieza safetly on earth, Goku continues his fight to make sure that the evil Frieza is stopped for good. But with Frieza refusing to be beaten, and with Goku still fighting for his life, as well as Planet Namek almost ready to blow, has the mighty Super Saiyan made his last and worst mistake by choosing to remain on Namek? Episode 88: Pathos of Frieza With very little time left before planet Namek is wiped off the face of the map, Goku's Super Saiyan strength seems to have no boundary and it appears that the mighty Frieza has indead been outmatched. With Goku only getting stronger with every punch, it looks like Frieza is finshed...right? Episode 89: Frieza Defeated!! Frieza is getting more and more desperate and reckless as he attempts to stop Goku, but Goku is too much for him and can easily stop anything that Frieza throws his way. The thing Frieza dreaded the most has happened, he's been beaten at the hands of a Super Saiyan. But even though Frieza has been beaten, there is not much time left to escape Namek. Hurry up Goku! Episode 90: Mighty Blast of Rage Even though Frieza has been sliced in two by his own energy disks, he's still not completely down and out. Refusing to recognize Goku as the strongest in the universe, Frieza takes all the strenght he has left and launches a final desperate blast at Goku, who has left the battlefield in hopes of escaping off Namek. Will Goku stop the blast before it's too late? Episode 91: Namek's Explosion...Goku's End? When Guru was sent to earth, the Dragonballs went with him, giving hope to the fact that even if Goku doesn't get off in time, he can still be revived. But if that's true, how come everyone still looks so depressed? Episode 92: Goku's Alive!! Many happy reunions occur when Porunga is summed and Krillin and Yamcha are revived. However, when it's time to revive Goku, Porunga can't revive the Super Saiyan, because Goku isn't dead! But if this is true, then how come Goku isn't back yet? |
