The Cell Saga Episode 127: Borrowed Powers Gingertowns empty streets are turned into a battlefield as the pumped-up Piccolo takes on the creature from the capsule. This hideous creature has drained the life out of every person in Gingertown and worse still, he knows one of Goku's signature moves: the Kamehameha! Episodes 128-133: Cell emerges and states that he has come from another future world in Trunks's time machine to absorb Androids 17 and 18 so he can become the perfect warrior. Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks go to the to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber at Kami's Lookout, while the newly fused Piccolo along with Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha, stay behind to keep try to stop Cell or the androids. Episodes 134-138: Piccolo and Android 17 battle, attracting Cell. Cell battles Piccolo and Android 17 and nearly kills him, than almost absorbs Android 17, until he is stopped by Android 16. Android 16 nearly knocks out Cell, but not quite, so he sneaks up behind Android 17 and absorbs him. He goes for Android 18 but is stopped by Tien who holds Cell off long enough for Android 16 and 18 to get away. Episodes 139: Saiyans Emerge Vegeta and Trunks finally emerge out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and go off to fight Cell. Gohan and Goku now enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Episodes 140-153: Vegeta fights Cell, and totally dominates the battle. Then Cell tempts Vegeta, who gives in and allows Cell to absorbs Android 18 and becomes perfect. Now more powerful than both Trunks or Vegeta, he announces his tournament, the Cell Games. Goku and Gohan complete their training, and leave the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and get updated on the news of the tournament. Episodes 154-159: Goku goes to New Namek to see if any of the Nameks will become the new guardian of earth. Dende volunteers and makes a new set of Dragonballs that grant two wishes instead of one. Then, Goku goes and looks for the Dragonballs in order to wish back all the people Cell killed, meeting General Tao along the way. Gohan, in the meanwhile, makes a new friend, and celebrates his eleventh birthday. |
