Darien smiled as Serena wrote down the answer to a math problem. "I did it Darien! After you explained it, it was a whole lot easier." Serena squealed, mentally doing a victory dance as she looked at the problem.
"Haha, I'm glad Serena. Lets celebrate with a milk shake at the arcade." Darien suggested, closing Serena's math book.
"Woohoo!" Serena yelled in reply.
Darien grabbed her coat, and they left for the arcade. Andrew, of course, was serving the afternoon customers so quickly, that he talked so fast you couldn't understand him. He slid to a halt infront of them. "Get a seat! Don't block the crowd!!!" He screamed, running off again. Serena and Darien looked at eachother and laughed, then took a seat like he told them to.
Andrew was soon taking there order. Darien chuckled as Serena ordered her usual. A burger, fries, milkshake, and doughnuts. As soon as Andrew had left to ready there order, Darien turned to Serena.
"I bet you'll ace that test now." He said.
She turned to him with an eyebrow raised. "Oh yeah, and pigs fly, while reindeer oink."
"Hey, don't put yourself down. I'm sure you will!" He assured once more.
"Darien, are you going to that highschool dance thing?" Serena asked, as there order arrived, with Andrew huffing and puffing.
"Dare, isn't that the one---" But Andrew stopped talking as Darien's shoe came in contact with his shin. He inched to the floor, holding his leg.
"Ummm, I might go. Why?" Darien grinned, pretending not to notice the heep of Andrew on the floor.
Serena looked up from Andrew, and turned to Darien. "Oh, well, I was, you know, wondering." She said, feeling slightly embarrassed.
"Want to go with me?" Darien said, knowing exactly why she had asked in the first place.
Serena's face brightned. "Sure." She replied.The Night Of The Dance
"Umm, Serena, I have something I need to do, be right back ok?" Darien said, letting go of her hand and moving into the crowd.
"Uhh, sure..." She agreed, seeing that Darien was already gone.
Not long after, a DJ walked on the stage. "Yo, wussup all. Get ready for some highschoolers, who are gonna do a little something for y'all. Here they are, with there song Love You Out Loud!" He moved away, and Darien first walked onto the stage. Then came Andrew, who limped on. And Chad, the guy that Raye liked, who bounced onto the stage, like a rock star."Everyone, this is a song, dedicated to my girl. You know who you are." Darien said, grabbing his electric guitar, and waiting for his band members to start the music.
"I have always been a little shy

But now that you're in my arms..."Serena was in shock, her stomach was full of 'butterfly's', as she inched closer to the stage, through the crowd, that was also memorized by the song.

I love to love you out loud"People around her were dancing. And she could only smile at the lyrics being sung by Darien. He still hadn't noticed she was nearly to the stage.

So I'm gonna let out a yell"Darien glanced down into the crowd, to see Serena staring into his eyes. He moved to the edge of the stage, and down on his knees, and began to sing again.

Darien bent down, and Serena got on her tiptoes, and soon they were locked in a kiss. When they finally pulled away, they could do nothing but stare into eachothers eyes."I love you Serena." Darien whispered.
