The Big Surprise

Chapter 1

One sunny Monday afternoon, Serena, Rei, Amy, Lita, and Mina walked home from school talking and laughing. Serena had invited them all to come to her house to study for the test they had next Friday. Rini had invited Hotaru over to play, Darien had plans with Andrew, Greg, Ken, and Chad, and Amara, Michelle, and Trista were going out to see a movie and go shopping.

When they go there, Serena’s mother, Ilene, was waiting for her with a plate full of cookies and a pitcher of milk. “Thank you Mom!” Serena exclaimed. “Yes, thank you Ms. Tsukino!” Rei, Amy, Lita, and Mina all chorused. “It was nothing.” She replied. The girls settle down in the living room and pull out their books. “I hate tests!” Mina whined. “As I said, if you study enough, you will get good grades and then you will like tests much better because your parents will be proud of you, for once.” Amy replied. “Hey, that’s not funny, my parents are proud of me for whatever I do!” Mina exclaimed as everyone laughed at Amy’s remark. Come on guys, I want to get a decent grade on this test.” Serena told her guests. So they got to work munching on cookies and studying.

The Next Day

Serena was walking home with Rei when they felt a cry for help. They for the scene of the crime and saw the monster attacking Molly and her mother in their jewelry store. Serena and Rei instantly transformed. They fought with the monster and won, but with a small price. Both had bad injuries. Rei with a sprained wrist and Serena with a bad head injury. They de-transformed without wanting to and blasted by the force of Molly’s voice. “WHAT!?!?, You guys are Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars and you didn’t tell me?!?! How could you? I though we were friends!” Molly exclaimed, shocked and mad.

Serena and Rei exchanged glances. “Umm.....”
