Serena Tsukino, your average, hormonal, 13 year old girl right? If you think having Super Powers, and
having to save the world every night average, then,
yeah, I guess that true. But frankly, I don't see that
as normal, so I'm telling her story, of the first day
she realized her abilitys.
Serena Tsukino rolled off her bed, and looked at her alarm clock. Her eyes went wide, and she began getting dressed hurridly, screaming as she went along. "Yikes! Mooommm! Why didn't you wake me sooner?" She asked, brushing her teeth, and spitting the toothpaste into the sink. "I did sweetheart, 3 times. You said you were getting up right away." Serena's Mom explained. "And you believed me?" Serena asked, flying down the steps, grabbing a piece of toast, and running out the door. "Serena, dear, aren't you forgetting something?" Here mother asked, holding up her daughters lunch bag, as if it was a routine. Serena poked her head back in throught the front door. "Hehe, oh yeah." Serena grabbed her lunch and sped off to her school, muttering, "Gonna be late!"
She was walking through a parking lot, a short cut to school, when she happened to glance to her side. A gang of about 3 seven year old little boys, were huddled there, seeminly toturing a helpless animal. "Hey! Get away from there!" Serena screamed, fanticly waving her arms. The boys lookd up, and ran off. Thats when Serena met the cat that would change her life forever. "Hey, Kitty, are you alright?" Serena asked, removing two bandages from the cats forehead. Underneath the bandages was a bright yellow cresent moon spaped mark. The cat jumped up, into the air, doing a back flip. Serena was shocked. Was the cat rabid? "N-nice kitty..." She muttered fearfully. She looked at her watch. "Aaahhh! Now I'm even more late! Bye lunatic cat!" She screamed, running off.
Serena and her best friend Molly.walked into a jewlry store. "Sale, everything is 50% off!" Molly's mother screamed through a bull horn. "Wow, whats up with your mom Molly?" Serena asked. "I don't know." Molly said shrugging. "Well, I'm going home, wish me luck Molly!" Molly waved goodbye, and then Serena left the store. Serena walked home. She had recieved dentention, and was looking at her test. "Ugh... 30%, moms gonna sizzle me!" She whined, crumpling the test into a ball, and throwing it behind her. "HEY!" She heard someone call out behind her. She turned around quickly to see what all the comotion was about. She saw a man, holding her paper, and looking at it. "OH sorry..." She muttered, her cheeks going slightly red. "30%? Are you stupid, or just encredibly lazy?" The man asked, raising an eyebrow behind his sunglasses. Serena's facial features changed from embarrassed, to angry. "Hey! Thats mine! Gerk!" She screamed, pulling the paper out of his hands. "I was just asking Meatball Head." He said, referring to her strange hairstyle, that resembled meatballs. He then walked away. Serena stopped, and admired the poster for the latest 'Sailor V' movie. "I wish I was like Sailor V, fame, cool outfit." Serena looked at her test. "And I bet she doesn't get grades like this!" The cat she rescued earlier watched Serena from behind. 'Can this be the one?' She asked herself. 'A whiny teenager?'
Serena stumbled into her living room, where her mother walked in, spatula in hand, probably because she was perviosly cooking. "So, how'd you do on your test today?" Her mother asked. "Uhh, hehe, test?" Serena asked, trying to hide her paper. "Yes, Melvin's mother said that he go a 95%, and they're very disappointed. Let me see." Serena thought of Melvin, the dork at their school, who had coke bottle glasses, and had a major crush on her. "Well, you see um..." She gave up trying to make an excuse. "Here." She handed her mother the test, and awaited impact. Her mothers kind face turned to dangerous. She began waving the spatula around wildly. "30%? You said you studied!" She shoved Serena outside and closed the door. "Don't come back till you've studied!" She screamed. "But Mama!" Serena complained, pounding on the door.
"Studying, so, tiring." Serena whimpered, collapsing on her bed, after convincing her mother to let her inside. "I'm gonna take a nap, so sleepy." She said, to no one inparticular. She had just fallen asleep, when someone began tapping on her window. The window then blew open, and Serena blinked wearily. There stood the same cat from earlier! "Ahhh! What are you doing here?" Serena asked, jumping up. "Why Serena, I've been watching you closely." The cat said, pouncing onto the bed. Serena backed up, did she just hear a cat talk? "Talking cat? I know I'm dreaming!" Serena said, staring at the cat. "This is no dream!I'll prove it to you!" The cat said, she jumped in the air, did a backflip, and a locket appeared. "Here, try this on." Luna said, pushing the locket in Serena's direction. "For me?" She said, picking it up in amazement. "Wow! Thanks, how should I wear it..." "This is no piece of jewlry. Throw up your hand, and shout 'Moon Prism Power'" Said the cat. "Ook!" She did as the cat said, and she was transformed into the super hero, Sailor Moon. Someone inside her head called for help as she looked in the mirror. "Thats Molly's voice!" Serena recognized. "Yes, and she's in trouble! Lets go!" Luna said, following her to her mothers jewlry store.
There she found Molly being strangled by and ugly monster. "Stop right there!" Serena shouted. The monster turned around. "Who are you?" It asked, dropping Molly. "I'm-I'm-I'm Sailor Moon!" She shouted back. "Well," The monster replied, an evil grin on its face. "I'm sure this will be the first and last time I ever hear of Sailor Moon!" The monster shot a blast of dark energy at Sailor Moon, and it scraped her knee. "Luna, I don't want to play anymore!" She cried, over the minor wound. "Sailor Moon, use your Tiara!" Luna shouted from behind. "What good will that do?" Serena whimpered, as the monster readied its next attack. "Just do as I say!" Luna screached. "Ok..." Serena grabbed her Tiara, and held it in a certain form, then screamed. "Moon Tiara Magic!" And it hit the monster, turning it to ashes.
The next Day at School
"I had the wierdest dream!" One of the students shouted. "There was this warrior, Sailor Moon, and she saved us all from this monster thing!" "Really? Me too!" Molly shouted back in amazement. "Thats wierd..." "Guys, could you keep it down, I was up real late last night, I'm really sleepy, so just... keep it down." Serena finished, lying her head on her desk.
