Full Metal Panic
Description: Full Metal Panic is one of the most anticipated anime out of Japan for months. Its release was pushed back due to the September 11th attacks on the United States due to its content, and it was finally released in January 2002. The story takes place in an alternative world where the Cold War is still going on and the KGB still exists. An elite team of soldiers use large robots to combat enemies and protect people. Three members of the team are assigned to go and protect a girl named Kaname Chidori who is attending a high school in Japan. The team is made up of Sosuke Sagara, Melissa Mao, and Kurz Weber. Sosuke is a by the book soldier who faces his toughest mission yet: high school.
