| Tokyo was quiet that night. All of the people were asleep. Molly had gone to the school football game and walked home with Melvin. He was a dork, but he sure did know how to treat a lady. There was a full moon that night. When they reached the stoop in front of Molly's apartment building, they stopped. They sat down together to have a romantic moment. Melvin nervously put his arm around Molly and they looked at the moon. "Oh Melvin," said Molly. "The moon looks so beautiful!" "Ya!" he replied. "It sure does!" They sat for a little while longer, just staring at the moon. It made them feel so protected, like God had put the moon there just to protect the people of that insignificant rock called earth that sat in the vast universe. Just then, something broke the silence of the night. "Hey Melvin," said Molly sitting up a little bit. "Do you hear people cheering?"
