| She twisted and turned in her bed. Darien lay beside her asleep, not knowing what his wife was going through. She had been having that one nightmare, over and over again. Serena blamed the pregnancy, but something in her heart told her that it went much deeper than that. In her dreams, everything was very clear. Serena was in her princess form and saw the moon in ruins. This wasn't the surprising part, she'd known that the Moon Kingdom had been destroyed, but there was something not right. She could feel it! Suddenly, Serena heard a scream and saw a woman tied to a steak. There was a man there, torturing and taunting the woman. She couldn't see their faces, they were dimmed just so she couldn't see any facial features of either person. Serena wanted to help but found that she couldn't move. All she could do was watch. The man pulled a sword out of it's shield and slowly stabbed the woman to death who could do nothing for she was restrained. Blood slowly poured from the wound where the sword was and it also started coming from the woman's mouth as she let out a shreek.The man had no mercy and slowly turned the sword while it was still in the woman's body. She was practically dead, but he wouldn't stop, and Serena still could not move. He finally pulled the sword out, and it appeared that he was going to allow her to die in peace, when he suddenly threw the sword at the woman's face and it went right through her skull. She saw the man pull the sword from the woman's skull and walk away. Serena's feet were released and she immediately ran to the woman's side. When she pulled the woman off of the steak, she saw her face for the first time. Serena let out a scream at what she saw. She found that she was cradling herself in her arms. That woman was Serena. She found herself embraced in Darien's arms when she woke up. "Shhh...." he said soothingly. "It's ok, you were having a nightmare again. Try to sleep. Everything's fine. You're safe." She felt more calm. "Darien," she said. "It was me!" "What?" said Darien. Serena remembered that she'd never told Darien what happened in her reoccurring nightmare, so she said, "I'll tell you about it in the morning darling." Darien kissed her forehead and went right back to sleep, making sure that he was in a position where he could hold Serena before he fell asleep. Serena, still shaken by the nightmare, fell asleep once more only to find that her dreams were blank. They both awoke tired the next morning having woken up at midnight, and Serena explained her nightmare to Darien. He thought about it for a moment and then said, "Do you think that your nightmare holds any ground? I mean, it could be the baby talking!" Serena held a straight face as Darien rubbed her tummy and said, "I don't know. I don't think it's the baby, it wouldn't repeat itself if it was. I think that my dreams are trying to tell me something."
