1. how r u??? (Translation: How are you? Don't let the all lowercase and over use of question marks throw you, they're probably hepped up on caffiene.)
2. ne 1 want to rp?? (Translation: Anyone want to roleplay? Note how they try to save time by typing ne for Any. Cute? Not at all, but then again, these are probably the people that fall asleep during English, after all, they couldn't find the one extra second to type one. And no, it doesn't look cool to put numbers where letters should be.)
3. r u there?? (Translation: Are you there? Some people get a little tense if you don't answer them directly and they tend to get a wee bit over excited when they begin to type. Again, don't worry, it's probably just a small overdose on caffiene.)
4. y?? (Translation: Why? Pretty much self-explanitory.)
5. wat iz ur name (Translation: What is your name? Don't be afraid of this one, though the lack of puncuation would be pretty easy to throw one off. Don't let other people's laziness bother you, they're probably coming off of the caffiene high by now and have put off puncuation priorities.)
6. ???!! (Translation: This could absolutely mean *anything*, depending on the person or the conversation that you're having. Don't worry, just smile, nod, and back away slowly. Especially if they start out the conversation this way.)
7. Antidisestablishmentarianism... (Translation: If you meet someone who can spell that... marry them.)
8. im board. (Translation: I'm bored. Typos are a common thing with net users, typos are not to be feared or persecuted at all. Everyone makes mistakes and no one should be judged by a mere typo. Unless they make them all the time and never offer to correct them, then it gets time consuming trying to sort through them just to understand what they are trying to say.)
9. i c (Translation: I see. Or I understand. Again, some just thing that's either cool to type it that way, or are trying to save time. But, though it saves time for them when they type it, for those that are used to decent spelling and grammer, it takes a bit to understand what they are trying to put forth.)
10. c u l8r (Translation: See you later. This also applies with g2g, which is acceptable, because it's close to brb, or be right back, g2g's are acceptable and you should use them if you have to dash off of the computer quickly.)
This is just a small list, but I hope that I've helped clear up a small translation problem.
