history:Vash grew up on the seeds ship. If he was made there or if they found him I don’t know its something ill have to look into. while he grew up on the ship with his twin brother knives he was beaten by a guy named steave (ill check the spelling l8er). steave believed they where "freaks" and various other rude names. it is because of steave that knives came to the conclusion that all humans should be destroyed in order for him and vash to live. he described his conclusion by telling vash that in order to save the butterfly caught in a spiders web he would have to kill the spider. vash believed that he could save both animals without one being harmed. knives explained his theory to vash saying if vash saved all the butterflies the spider would starve. knives substitutes the humans with the spiders and him and vash for the butterflies. so knives devised a plan to destroy the entire human race, but because of Rem his planes where ruined costing her life. that’s how trigun started if u want the eps that explain all this alittle better go out and buy project seeds its $30 abit pricy I know. if I get any emails saying they cant understand a lick of the above ill simplify it for your convenience.

history: Nick's parents where killed when he was very young, and he was sent to an orphanage outside December city. He stayed in the orphanage until he was seven, when he killed the murderer of his parent's by shooting him. After leaving the orphanage, he meets Chapel the Evergreen, who is a Gung-Ho Gun. Chapel teaches Nick how to be a gunfighter, and leads him to become a Gung-Ho Gun himself. When he is old enough, Nick is assigned to find Vash the Stampede and bring him alive to Knives (Vash's evil twin). He comes across Vash seemingly by accident in the middle of the desert. Vash spots him from far off, and saves his life.
