On the fifth morning, Princess was taken to Crystal Castle, her new home. Maids were busy planning a party celebrating Princess's birth. "Three thousand lilacs!" demanded the King.
"Four hundred chocolate and strawberry cakes." said Fiona, the queen, of course.
"Fifty roast turkeys!" argued the King. Princess watched in amazement.
"Tur-key," she said.
"Unbelievable!" shouted the Kind.
"Her fifth day and she already can talk!" cried Fiona. Willy jealously watched as everyone gathered around his baby sister.
"Big deal!" He went to his room. "I hate my sister!"
"You hate me?" asked a voice.
"You can walk, too?!"
"I just learned."
"You're just a baby!"
"Their going to teach my to read, too."
"You? I can't even read that much!"
"Princess! Come down!" said a voice from downstairs.
"I have to go, now," said Princess.
"She thinks she's all smart!" complained Willy.

Soon it was time for the party. Princess acquired many gifts. Everyonewas impressed that she could already walk and talk. Willy was still upset because he didn't get any gifts.
Princess was dressed in her first gown.
One of the gifts Princess really loved was a kitten. She had a crown--like hers---and earings--like hers. Princess named it Kitty.
"That is a very creative name, Princess" encouraged Fiona.
"Can I teach it to talk, mama?"
"No, you can't! kittens don't talk."
"I can already talk," said Kitty.
"Things just keep getting stanger and stranger," murmured Willy.
"The talking breed! How rare!" said the King.
