RACE: Earthling/Saiya-Jin Hybrid

HIS DEAL: Born 1 year after the death of Goku, Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta. It was two years after his birth that Dr. Gero's androids killed all of the Z fighter, save for Gohan. For 14 years, Trunks trained under Gohan, but Gohan was then killed by the Androids. After these events, Trunks mother Bulma built time machine for Trunks to use.

Stay with me for a second. This one's complicated.

In his future, Gohan didn't take him to fight the Androids because his anger wasn't channeled enough to allow him to become a Super Saiya-Jin. So Gohan knocked him out and flew off alone. When Trunks found Gohan dead, his anger became overwhelming, and in a dramatic moment(y'know with rain and a lot of tension) Trunks finally became a Super Saiya-Jin. When he arrived home, his mother informed him about a Time Machine she had built. (These events occur in the "The History of Trunks" DBZ special)

Traveling 17 years into the past, Trunks arrived just hours before Goku was to return after his battle and apparent death on Namek with Frieza. He interrupted a battle between Frieza, Frieza's father King Cold, and the Z fighters, defeating Frieza and King Cold easily after believing Goku wouldn't make it in time. Keeping his identity a secret, he then talked with Goku, warning about their demises and his death. He gave Goku an antidote for the heart disease that would kill him, then departed. He returned three years later to discover there where two androids he didn't know about as well as one more that Androids 18 and 17 activated.

After spending some time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Vegeta, Trunks reached Ultra Super Saiya-Jin and actually got stronger than Vegeta! Unfortunatly, he didn't realize that the bulky muscles that come with the new transformation would sacrifice his speed.

After improving in the Time Chamber, Trunks went back to fight Cell…and wound up with a big hole in his stomach. He was revived by the Dragon Balls and returned to his future, where he defeated the androids and freed his world.

CURRENT WHEREABOUTS: Trunks is out of the picture for now. He's currently residing in his own time, 14 years in the future, and is probably just hanging with the women.

TRANSFORMATIONS:

• SUPER SAIYA-JIN--Achieved during "The History of Trunks" special. First seen upon discovery of Future Gohan's death; achieved due to extreme rage from Gohan's death.
• ULTRA SUPER SAIYA-JIN--Achieved during the Android Saga. First seen during battle with Perfect Cell; achieved during training in Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

BATTLES:

THE ANDROID SAGA

• VS. FRIEZA/KING COLD--Not much of a battle. Trunks was much stronger than the two of them, and he had the element of surprise on his side.
• VS. ANDROID 18--Fearing his father would be killed, Trunks interfered and was promply beaten. Unfortunately, this allowed android 17 to interfere.
• VS. IMPERFECT CELL--Attempted to stop Cell from joining with Android 18. He failed.
• VS. PERFECT CELL--He didn't enter this fight until the last second because he didn't want Vegeta to know he was stronger than him. He almost won this battle, but at USS, his larger muscles slowed him down, so he couldn't even land a punch.
