Welcome to the new digimon series Digimon Frontier. Well the name kinda explains what the series is about, the frontier between digimon and human state. This series has five characters with similar but slitly different character personalities. The themese of battle and images projected are very much similar to every other digimon series.

The first few episodes, like the other series, introduce the form of digivolution where in this case is "Spirit Evolution" and the character's personalities. The five kids "spirit evolve" by finding a spirit that they can call their own.

The main plot is that the kids are invited to the train station called "?????????" by their cel phones and they go down farther then the lowest level of the station where there seems to be trains leading into different areas of the (not yet confirmed)digi-world. From their conflicts rage and each child "spirit evolves" and helps the group and like the old series they learn and acknowledge from each other.

There isn't much more to I know and can tell you about Digimon Frontier so you'll have to wait and watch it your self the year.
