Biographies

Megaman X: Intelligent, strong, but compassionate for those he must destroy, X has proven himself in combat. He was the very first reploid. A reploid is a machine that can choose it's own fate and control it's own destiny. X has certainly used this ability to it's extreme. Though he is not very knowledgable about other reploids, he knows what he must do.

X's design: X's design was every innovative for his time. X's mind was actually a mechanical duplicate of a human's brain. This sounds simple enough until you realize we in the real world have yet to figure out how the brain even works. We probably only know about 1% of the brain's capabilities. His body is also upgradable, thus his true power is forever expanding. Dr. Light's purpose in creating X is still unknown, but one thing is for certain. X was designed as a war machine, but a war machine to keep the peace.

Zero: Quick, stealthy, and very powerful, Zero was the equal, if not superior, reploid to X. though his design was second in line of the reploid race, his design, like X's is not possible to fully replicate, therefore making him unique. While X is compassionate and caring about those he must kill, Zero doesn't care at all. He has witnessed the death of thousands of reploids, mostly when he was a maverick. This cold heart may be to his advantage. Those who hesitate laugh last.

Zero's design: Zero is actually the opposite of X. Though they both use the same kind of brain simulator technology for their thoughts, Zero was designed to kill, pure and simple. He was designed not to care about anyone or anything. Zero was designed to punish Forte for his insubordination. Since Forte was Wily's best creation, he based Zero on Forte, but this time allowing Zero to only listen to him.

Zero was awoken in 21xx by a reploid by the name of Gamma. His unit was then anahilated by Zero. Sigma steps in, vowing to sacrifice his life to stop Zero from harming another reploid. Consequently, Sigma defeats him, but only after being maimed. Choosing to befriend Zero, and knowing that Zero could have the potential to be the greatest help in destroying mavericks, he takes Zero under his wing. Months later, Sigma goes maverick thanks in part to Zero's virus. This is when the long battle begins.

Sigma: Cunning and clever, he is able to think of many ways to get around defeating or manipulating stronger opponents. This was proven when he took advantage of Repliforce's desire for independence. He told the General what would become of Repliforce if they did not lash out at the Maverick Hunters. He succeeded. When Sigma went maverick, he took with him the knowledge of every single reploid that existed. He literally knew every reploid inside out. Using this to his advantage, he saw the last 2 hold outs from his facist terror governament, X and Zero, try to attack. He successfully routed Zero, but his army was so devastated by X and Zero's campaign that he literally had nothing but his pet to protect him. He and his pet died. Motnsh later Sigma returns, but is again defeated by X and Zero. For the next few months he is defeated time and time again.

Later on, he realizes that Zero is the one and only key to control of the universe. Deciding to use what remains of his viral systems, he infects himself with a large quanity, then infects a large colony, which he orders to be rammed into Earth. He is defeated on Earth, his explosion spreads the virus all over the Earth. His crumbling army grows in size thanks to the worldwide infection, but only a few reploids hold out. One of these soldiers, Dynamo, notice that X and Zero, who are always closest to the blast, are not infected yet. He sees that a greater amount of Virus is needed, and throws the Colony into the Earth. He succeeds. The large amount of virus on Earth overwhelms Zero, who up to this point has show immunity to the virus. But in the end, Even the miughty Zero falls, and X is left all alone, forced to fight his best friend. Sigma nearly succeeds in defeating X using Zero, but Zero is defeated by X, but barely. X has sustained massive injury in his fight. As Sgima appears to finish off X, Zero takes the blast. Later on Sigma is defeated again.

Sigma's Design: Sigma was made to fight. His life revovled around it. He was given all the details of every reploid that existed. When one went Maverick he would go to the scene and order a strike against the maverick. Sometimes Sigma needed to step in, thus ending the fights. After succumbing to Zero's virus, his body becomes dependant on it. His need for the virus is subsitutued with the Nightmare, but it makes a poor step in. Sigma's body rejects it, thus making him go mad. He is finally destroyed by X and Zero.

Vile: Formerly of the 17th Maverick Hunter unit, he was a vicious fighter, often taking things too far by ordering the destruction of salvagable mavericks and reploids. His ace has always been his ride armor. When he first appears in the series, he is literally immune to X's primitive blasts. But his armor is destroyed by one of Zero's attacks. Knowing that he cannot win against Zero, Vile retreats, barely dodging the next attack, which would have for sure killed him. He is next seen attacking Zero. The fight lasts for a few seconds when Zero makes a fatal mistake. Vile takes advantage of this and paralyzes Zero. Now with Zero, the only non-maverick left who is capable of defeating him, he turns his attention to X, whose wepaons are primitive compare to his armor. X fails miserably against his clearly superior foe. Zero seeing X completely struggle with Vile's armor uses his body as a bomb. Well why not? His buster shots can obviously inure him badly? so why not self-destruct? Zero latches onto his back. Vile begins a cold sweat of fear, praying for survival. He barely survives, and his injured when the smoke clears, and he is seen naked of armor. Vile attacks, but this time is destroyed by this primitive being. X goes to see Zero's injuries, but it is too late for him.

Vile is seen again when Dr. Doppler rebuilds him. Now fused with better armor, he goes and tries his luck against X again, luring him to a deserted underground lab. He is beaten, but starts the bomb fuse, hoping that X cannot make it out of the explosion. He is wrong and X escapes to safety.

Vile's final appearance as a sentient being is in Doppler's lab. Vile vows to fight to the death in his new ride armor, Goliath. X struggles, but wins against his superior armor. Vile, who is again stripped of his armor makes one final bid to kill X is again defeated at the hands of an ancient machine. He tells X that he will haunt him till the day he dies.

Vile's design: He is weak without ride armor, but is nearly impossible to beat if he has it. He shows skillful handling of just about all ride armors, but prefers ground based armor.

Things to note about Vile: He claims to haunt X to the day he dies. If so, he is certainly taking his time. Vile may be waiting for the right moment to return to X's thoughts, where he has been absent from for a long time.

Dr. Cain: A botonist by profession, he discovered X in the ruins of Light's laboratory. His capsule was running far longer than the 30 years assigned. He noticed that X was a unique being, and decided to mass produce him. despite his profession being far from technology, he understood most of X's innerworkings. But somethings Cain didn't understand at al, but figures that technology of the current will make up for these abnormalities. With a reploid assembly line now foregoing production, it looks like there will be peace between man and machine at last. But Sigma revolts, and causes wide spread panic amoung humans, and the few reploids that remain. Cain ordered X and Zero to engage and anahilate Sigma's forces, which they did at the cost of Zero's life.

Cain self-appoints himself as leader of the maverick hunters, a self-inflicted torture to remind himself of the potential menace he has introduced unto the world. His final creations, the Repliforce, were completely anahilated by X and Zero because of Colonel's deiance of logic.

Cain's current whereabouts remain unknown, but it is rumored that he is supporting the Maverick Hunters on a less larger role. It is unlikely he survived the Eurasia incident, but only time will tell if he survived.

Dynamo: His past remains hidden, he may have been built at the same time as X and Zero by a third party. His purpose for living is unknown, but he hires himself out to the highest payer. His current job is a mercenary. He is considered the one maverick by choice, instead of by influence.
