History of Trunks
The whole ordeal begins 6 months after Goku dies of an incurable heart disease. 2 Androids , Android's 17 and 18, appear and destroy cities. Vegeta, who has gone Super Saiyan due to Goku's death, is easily dealt with, as well as the others. Everyone is killed but Gohan. Tien, Chaotzu, Yamcha, Piccolo, Krillen. They all are easily dealt with by the two machines. Gohan survives and becomes a Super Saiyan, which has made him as strong as the both of them. 13 years have passed since that miserable day in Gohan's life. Trunks is now 13-15 years old and is requesting training from Gohan. during the training they get word of an Android attack. The town millitia is destroyed easily. Soon Gohan appears. He and 17 duke it out, Gohan becomeing a Super Saiyan. When it becomes apparent that Gohan could win against 17, 18 steps in and they gang Gohan. Trunks looks on in horror as his best friend receives a pummeling. Trunks interferes and gets a beautiful shot at 18's gut, But 18 slaps him away and prepares to kill the purple haired saiyan. as she fires the blast Gohan steps in and takes the blast in. This vaporizes his right arm. the next time Trunks sees Gohan, Gohan is dead, face down in a puddle, his body mauled, his face has a blank stare. Trunks goes Super Saiyan and 3 years later, does battle with the androids. Trunks gets slaughtered miserably. He barely survives his first encounter. Though as a Saiyan he gets more powerful everytime he gets hit, his body had more holes than swiss cheese so he couldn't get stronger. His mom, Bulma, figures the only way to win is to stop the androids in a different timeline and bring Goku back to this time and get rid of the Androids. And so this is how Trunks goes back in time to inform Goku of the tragic events he has seen in his lifetime.
