A Zel x Xel story. None of the characters
belong to me.
"Give me some options," the chimera answered cautiously.
"What?" Xelloss asked, totally confused by his friend.
Zelgadiss blushed. He’d said something stupid. He was proud of his eloquence and clever word games, but sex chat was not his forte’. "Help me out here, Xelloss. I just want to know what you’re planning…so I can be prepared…"
"Give away my attack plans so you can fight back? Oh, no! You’re better off caught off guard so I can take advantage of you," he smiled evilly.
"Xelloss…" Zel yelped as he was swept onto his back again. Xelloss started sucking his cock, working it into a rocky, hardened shaft. Abruptly he stopped and pulled it out of his mouth, while scraping it along his sharp demon teeth.
Zel cried out as rapture replaced shock at the unexpected feeling. Xelloss stared at him meaningfully catching his eye before speaking, "I want you inside me. Normally, this takes some preparation of the… entrance… we’ll make it brief. I’m going to show you where… right… ahhh… yessss …ahhh… Yes! Ahhhh… and I’ll reposition your… What? Yes, it’ll hurt, I’m counting on it! "
"GAAAAAHHHH!" both men moaned together. Xelloss felt his anal cavern torn and scraped by sharp rock surfaces as he sank down upon Zel’s arousal. His Mazouku nature rapidly converting the pain to erotic gratification and repairing the cuts as fast as the damage was being done.
Zelgadiss was insane with passion and was craving more of that tight warmth rubbing his throbbing member. So this was what Xelloss was talking about? He wondered how long the Mazouku had harbored such carnal desires for him. Then he stopped thinking and began moving. He hadn’t much motility. The heavier man was weighting down his hips as he leaned back and rocked forward. Instead, he forced open his eyes to watch. Xelloss’ face mirrored his emotions, for a change. Joy, anguish, rapture, and suffering. Scary, man!
Xelloss’ own arousal bobbed and hardened. Zelgadiss reached out and squeezed his prize. Xelloss’ eyes flew open and he gasped in shock, "Z-Zelgadisss!"
Seconds later both men reached orgasm, exploding together, spilling their seed in…and on. Zel carefully grabbed at Xelloss’ penis and sucked and licked the last sticky fluid away, then drug him down face to face and smiled. He licked Xelloss’ lips and forced in his tongue. After a passionate kiss, he broke the kiss and whispered huskily, "You’re spicier and I’m saltier!
"What?" Xelloss nearly wept, he laughed so hard, shaking Zel’s body which he was using as a ‘pillow’. Zel was right, but only a Mazouku would have noticed. He held the rock-hard chimera and kissed him gently, stroking his metallic hair until he quieted his own giggles. "I didn’t think you’d notice…how very Mazouku of you!"
"SO…"
"Hmmm?"
"Umm, it’s so odd…being close and naked with someone…you in particular!" Zel forced out.
"Oh? Want me to leave then?"
"NO! No, it feels…nice…great in fact! I meant that I never thought of being comfortable in this body…of…"
"Of having great sex with an exceptionally, experienced, healthy male like me? Why not? I have been hanging around you for years…oh yeah…the golem part…we should have had that discussion years ago! You ARE feeling better about your looks now, riiiiight?"
Zel repositioned himself a bit, then answered, "Somewhat…I’ll grant you that I make an interesting novelty for lecherous, masochistic Mazouku! But…oh well, if I’m somehow desirable to you, I can live with it…I can still look for my cure…use it after you’ve tired of me and moved on…"
"That sounded dismal. I can be quite affectionate and for a very long time, not that I’ve had many opportunities. I do have extremely high standards! What I said…or nearly said…that I, damn this is really difficult… that I love you. L-sama that IS so hard to say! I do now and I did before I even knew how you’d feel…and now…" Xelloss pouted a little. "I don’t know how to prove my feeling are genuine, I simply feel them!"
"Interesting…I had always thought of demons as pain and fear loving, asexual creatures hell-bent on the destruction of the world. Are you sure that you’re not at least PART human…a resurrection perhaps?" For a second, Zelgadiss regretted making that remark. He thought the demon might hit him.
Xelloss’ eyes flashed danger and anger, "HUMAN? I poured out my guts to you and you dare to insult me? Me, a pure, high-level Mazouku of power beyond your…what? What’s so funny? I see… you were joking… veeeeeery funny."
They exchanged friendly punches and ended up cuddling on the blankets face to face. "I am an unusual Mazouku. That’s why I’m assigned to watch you humans. Not many can … blend in … tolerate … whatever … course … after awhile I found the task quite enjoyable … so many emotions … one hell of an interesting, angsty, and unattached chimera. Even now, I sought you out on my own free time…"
"Is it dangerous for you? Letting down your guard like this?" Zelgadiss asked. Could he care so deeply?
"Yeees…but not much. My staff isn’t out of touch; my power is no less. My attention may be elsewhere…but it is you that I’m with. Of course, you are powerful too! You rarely get caught unprepared, right? Together, we could stop any attack quickly and easily, no?"
"I’d rather be dressed…" Zel began, smiling.
"Right now? Oh, if we are ever attacked… I could dress us in a << snap >> …Good trick? And undress us << snap >> just as fast… but not as stimulating as peeling it off you myself. I could teach you the spell, I suppose. I don’t use the words, but you may have to…however… IF you were to become 100% Mazouku…"
Zelgadiss started, "WHAT!?! No! I may take a Mazouku lover, but I-I wish to retain my human soul. Think of the resurrected creatures that I have encountered…Gaav…and Val Gaav, to name two! I can’t imagine what kind of horrendous creature I might become. What if my friends, even you, might have to destroy me? No, I’ll stay as I am, even if it limits my powers substantially."
"Fine with me. I don’t think I want you stronger, but…I wouldn’t botch the job. You would be perfect… Never mind, the clothes on/off trick goes like this…"
Zelgadiss was a quick learner and a talented shaman. He perfected the spells, though he did have to say the complete incantation so he took longer than his mentor. The Mazouku warned him in jest, "If you use it unwisely, say on Lina, don’t you dare tell her that I taught it to you!"
Zelgadiss frowned, "I wouldn’t! I’m no tricky bastard like… No, you can trust me. Anything that you teach me becomes our secret. Keeping secrets is something we are both good at doing, neh?"
"So… am I to be one of your secrets? Do you want to keep US a secret as well? OR… do you feel like flaunting me as a conquest? Or… perhaps you are enslaved to me?" Xelloss was smiling, teasing his lover.
"I’m not so good an actor as to pretend anything. I’d like to speak to them first… I don’t want Lina to accuse you of controlling my mind and I want to soften the blow to Amelia’s pride. How does that sound to you?" Zelgadiss asked graciously.
"Can I watch?" Xelloss grinned.
"If you wish. Just keep your sarcastic remarks to yourself… << yawn >> It must be late…"
"Hmmm? Oh, yes, You should get some sleep. Do you want me to go?" Xelloss asked while getting up.
"No! I like the company, but it’s liable to be boring for you to just watch me sleep, unless you sleep too…"
"Not if I…" Xelloss leered as he knelt beside the chimera and patted him fondly.
"Xelloss! I’m sleeping now. Hands off! Now, good night." Zel said sharply, pushing away the creeping hand.
"My, my, so touchy! All right, << snap >> a bit more fire…and
<< snap >> blankets. Good night my chimera…I hope you know how good
I am to you…I hope you find the words to tell me how you feel about me…sometime…"
Xelloss whispered, smiled, and drew the covers over both men.
Zelgadiss awoke on the floor. The blankets messed, the fire roaring, the smell of… coffee… no Xelloss! "Xelloss?"
"Good morning! Cup of coffee before you join Lina and the others? They were pounding on the door moments ago. I told Gourry that you were still asleep, but that you’d be down soon," Xelloss declared. He was seated on the chair by the fire, completely dressed and sipping his own beverage.
"Oh…great…well…they know that you were here while I was asleep. I guess that will get their imaginations in full gear. Yes, thank you, I’ll have some of that coffee now…smells good...is it…real?"
"Yes. It’s from downstairs."
Zelgadiss stood and << dress***spell >> dressed instantly, much to Xelloss’ dismay. "I might as well go and get this over with…"
Xelloss beckoned the chimera to his side, "Regrets?"
"No. I’d just…rather be spending my time with you. I’ll be fine <<
sigh >>." Zel was rewarded with a passionate kiss and grin from his roommate.
"Here he comes. Now for some answers…" Lina said between bites of sausage, "Hey! Zel!"
"Morning Lina…Gourry…Amelia. Toast, thanks," he said softly.
"Mr. Zelgadiss? What was Mr. Xelloss up to this morning?" Amelia began the interrogation.
Zel set down his toast and took a deep breath before starting, "He visited last night for company and…he spent the night with …me." He paused, realizing that he didn’t know what else to say.
"Well there were other rooms available, he didn’t need to share with you!" she continued innocently.
Gourry looked at Zel and shook his head. Zel placed a hand on her arm, "Let’s take a short walk. We need to talk."
Amelia hesitated. She wasn’t finished eating, but Zelgadiss looked serious. "Okay…" she said as she rose and pushed in her chair.
Once they were outside, the chimera led the princess to a quiet spot in the garden of the inn. As they followed a winding path, Zelgadiss started to explain, "Amelia, we’ve known each other a long time…"
"Three years, two months, and ahhh…a few weeks!" she supplied with a smile.
"Yes, " he smiled slightly in return. "I’d like to think that we’ve become close enough friends that I can speak frankly to you, and that you’ll listen and treat what I say fairly."
"Of course! I’m not a child anymore!"
"No, you’re not. Which is why I know I can say this to you… First, I have enjoyed teaching you shaman magic, you’re a good student. Second, whatever your feelings for me are now, I consider you to be a dear friend, my little sister, whose good opinion I treasure. Third, as I am now, a chimera, I am… unable to carry on an intimate relationship, you know what I’m referring to… a sexual relationship << blush >>, with ordinary individuals…"
"B-But your cure! Mr. Zelgadiss, you haven’t given up hope?" she cried, bravely holding back her tears.
"Hope? No, I haven’t, but I have decided to stop putting off living while pursuing windmills." Zel saw her confused, sorrowful eyes and continued, "I have found a lover, Amelia, an unlikely choice, but a curiously good fit."
"You and Mr. Xelloss? But I thought…" she said incredulously.
"You thought that I hated him, heh, heh. Well, I probably hated many things about him, for good reason. However, as long as I hated myself, there was no way for me to love another. What he taught me, no one else could… how to accept myself as I am, and then move on with my life. Once I realized that he was serious and not trying to trick me, I opened my heart a crack and…"
"Are you in LOVE with him? H-He’s a m-man! Not even a man, a demon! Do you t-trust him that much?" Amelia asked, lip trembling.
"Honestly? I’m not sure how I feel about him, but I trust what he confided in me. So for now you’ll see us together…I wanted you to know why. I’m not under a spell. I’m content…at ease, anyway, with him."
"I see… Thank you for telling me… apart from the others… You know that I’ve had a crush on you for the longest time. Pretty silly, huh? I knew that you didn’t feel the same way about me, and I knew that you definitely didn’t want to become a prince in a palace with princely duties… I’m glad to know where I stand. I shouldn’t want to lose your friendship, but accepting Mr. Xelloss? That’s hard, Mr. Zelgadiss!"
"It took me some time too!" Zel chuckled slightly. "Friends?" he asked offering her his gloved hand.
"Forever?" she smiled faintly, taking his hand. The two friends returned to the inn in private thought.
"Amelia! Zel? Just in time. We’ve left you some food!" waved Gourry from the table.
"So…what’s the story?" queried Lina.
<< Sigh >>
Gourry piped up, "He’s got a boyfriend and it’s Xelloss, right?"
<< Gasp! >>
<< Punch >> << Ouch! >>
"STOP! Lina, before you beat him senseless! Gourry’s correct. Xelloss visited me last night… I’ve come to accept me for the way I am… and him too," Zelgadiss began, rapidly tiring of the discussion of his personal life.
"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND? Xelloss?!? HE’LL… WHAT, GOURRY? STOP SHOUTING? Oh… Zelgadiss, you shit for brains idiot! He’ll use you for whatever… chew you up and spit what’s left out when he’s done. You can’t possibly have any feelings for that Mazouku! He certainly can’t return any! He lives on fear and pain. Besides, you have your quest for a cure to follow. That’s certainly of no interest to him, except when it comes to leading you astray or destroying any clues! Anyway, isn’t he a guy? Aren’t you? Well? What have you got to say?"
"Well, Lina, not much. You’ve insulted me and my judgement countless ways. If that’s how you feel, I have nothing to say. I won’t defend my decision," Zelgadiss said calmly and stood to go.
"Won’t…or can’t?" Lina retorted.
"Oh! Miss Lina, Mr. Zelgadiss has found someone who makes him feel good about himself. And I think we should be understanding and stand by his decision like the friends we say we are. Maybe it’s a mistake, we all make mistakes, but that’s life. You don’t grow by thinking the same about everything and not taking chances. He needs to grow and needs his friends around to cheer him on or pick him up if he falls. So if he wants to… try a relationship, no matter how dangerous we may think it is… we should stand beside him!" Amelia shouted atop the table.
"Thank you, Amelia," Zelgadiss whispered as he helped her down.
"Humph! So where is he now? He let’s you take all the heat and he’s taken off?" Lina’s fight was fizzling out.
"I asked him to let me speak to you all first. I wanted you to hear it from me. I wanted you to know that he didn’t manipulate me into… this. I’m content in his company. He’s special… I’m aware of who he is and what he’s capable of… but…" Zel began.
"I’m in LOVE and he let me spend the night with him, so I feel soooo lucky… That’s what you were going to say?" Xelloss supplied while grinning behind him. "At least, those are my feelings… So, is the discussion all over now? Can we move on to the FUN?"
"Fun?" Lina perked up. "What did you have in mind?"
Xelloss stepped out of the darkened spot behind Zelgadiss. "There’s a Black Dragon council meeting one-half a day’s journey away. I think you’ll want to listen in on this one too. Princess, since Seyruun overlaps their kingdom."
"Why are you telling us this?" Lina asked suspiciously. "Isn’t spying on dragons more your line of work?"
"You think so? Well, maybe I should tag along. What do you think, Zelgadiss? Are you game?" Xelloss winked.
"Just to keep an eye on you, is reason enough!" Zel grumbled.
"Oh, you can trust me! I’m not at all attracted to dragons," he teased. "But they are very wealthy, Lina. They carry hordes of valuables to these little get-togethers. It’s mostly stolen from the Golden Dragon’s Graveyards… What? You didn’t know? Well, the Goldens used the Blacks as slave labor for years, as did the Ancients, so the artifacts are probably as much theirs as anybody’s. Surprised? Whatever gave you the idea that dragons were good? I’ve been telling you for years how nasty they can be!" Xelloss chortled and wagged his index finger at Lina. "By the way, where is our favorite dragon-lady?"
"Oh, Miss Filia isn’t feeling well. Even healing spells don’t cure the common cold, I guess. Whatever we decide, she won’t be coming… but I’ll let her know to wait until we return," said Amelia.
"Right, so intrigue, promise of gold, danger…sounds good to me!" laughed Lina. "Let’s go guys, time’s awast’n!"
"Okay, Lina!" shouted Gourry and Amelia in unison.
"Oh… fine. I’ll go. Someone’s got to keep you all under control," sighed Zelgadiss.
"That’s where I come in!" laughed Xelloss.
"Keeping control? You’ve got to be kidding!" Zel said raising a bemused eyebrow.
"No… keeping you busy so Lina can let loose! Oops! That was supposed
to be… a secret! Come on, now. Don’t keep her waiting!" Xelloss grabbed
his chimera and teleported ahead of Lina.
