Mousse was tired. Working at the Nekohanten will do that to a man. Especially when that man is working extra hard to impress the love of his life. He sat down, glad for a moment of quiet. No one barking orders at him.

The reason for this was another reason he was tired. Ranma Saotome. That jerk that had defeated his Shampoo in battle was standing just outside. She was most likely stuck to him like glue.

Then they walked in. His Shampoo clinging tightly to that... that... Ranma. It was almost enough to bring him to tears. Mousse made a decision then and there. He loved Shampoo with all his heart and soul, he couldn't just sit and watch her and Ranma.

If she didn't love him than he was no use here, or anywhere for that matter. He made up his mind, he would ask one more time. If Shampoo could tell him she felt nothing for him, he would return to China. After all, who was he to get in the way of her happiness and that's all he wanted for her.

Mousse walked over to the pair looking at Ranma with a new respect rather than seething hatred. A eerie silence fell over the three. Until the music started.

Authors Notes: Ahhh! I can't believe I let such a horrible thing happen to Mousse. *hugs Mousse plushie* I'm so sorry. It was my original plan to move this fic on and have Mousse and Akane hook up. Wierd but interesting ya. So I'm making this a challenge fic.

Challenge: Continue this pairing Mousse up with anyone other than Shampoo (Yes that includes Yaoi pairings). It would be interesting if you include more song re-writes. Make it anything G-NC17.
