This section is the section that I explain my way of beating the game. (well I finally beat it on April 21,2001 :)

Storyline
The storyline for ff8 is basically that their is an organization called SeeD. Which fights against there enemy's. Your mission is to stop an evil sorceress from possessing another body and to save the world from destruction.
Cardgame
Well I really didn't understand how to play the cardgame. Go to the cardgame section to see how to play it.
Sidequests
Odin quest
Well for me odins quest was easy as pie. Once your at battle all you have to do is attack with your strongest GF's. and in a couple of minutes he should give up.
Tonberry King Quest
Now this battle for me was the toughest battle I have ever had for me in the game. (well except Omega weapon i haven't tried to do his battle) Now for this battle I suggest that you have a very high HP like around 6000-9999 if you can and have the recover ability and have a couple of protect spells. Now I also suggest that you use all the Gfs That you have. Don't use Ifrit or diablos. At the start of the fight cast protect to your party and summon Doomtrian if you have him if not use any poison magic you have. TonBerry King has a lot of HP around 2500-250,000 so this fight might take as long as an half an hour.
Jumbo Catuar
Now jumbo cactuar is very hard to beat and he is very tricky. Now at this fight you should have one of your party members be a medic.
Cactuar is simply too powerful for his own good. His 1,000 Needles does 1,000 damage for every ten levels of experience--rounded to the 5. i.e. At level 25, he does 3000, but at 24, he only does 2000. If you have strong characters (approx LV 75+), you can use Auto-Potion to it's fullest advantage. Simply Refine 70-100 X-Potions from Hi-Potions, then equip at least one Character with Auto-Potion every time that character is struck, he/she will use an X-Potion and fully recover.
