NO TV AND NO SLEEP MAKE ENDRIAN SOMETHING SOMETHING - October 9, 2002

I finished it, at last. The first episode has been entirely redesigned -- it makes its original incarnation look like pig doots (pardon my French). Enjoy!

Oh, and one other thing -- I'm putting the next episodes on hold while I build up the comic's main page. I need to add something other than the episode itself -- such as the cast, a little bit of back history, some possible characters, and maybe some conceptual art. I think that'd really spice it up.

ROUND TWO - WEBCOMIC COMES IN, SWINGIN' - October 8, 2002

I'm currently remaking the first episode -- I wasn't really satisfied with it. Now that I've discovered how best to handle the word bubbles, dialoguing (using fonts downloaded from Blambot), inking, and coloring, I'm going to do my best to impress the lot of you with a complete and total rehaul of the first episode. I'll be adding a little more exchange between the characters, as well as a slight buildup of the plot. The original episode just kind of dumped you in the middle of the fight without explaining a lot of details.

Hopefully, the remake will fix all that. It should be finished later tonight -- I hope.

WEBCOMIC TRIPS OVER HORIZON, FLATTENS TOKYO - October 6, 2002

Speaking of humble... ouch. I've only managed to get one episode of the webcomic done so far and have been getting back mostly positive feedback. Albeit, there was some negative feedback from a semi-prominent member in the minor leagues of the webcomic community. He recommended that I start inking my comic and using the computer to input dialogue instead of hand-written text. I wholeheartedly agree -- however, I have trouble choosing a decent font.

Perhaps if one of you readers out there could help me -- maybe you guys could give me the help I need so much. If you know of a good font that would complement the comic well, give me a shout!

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS - October 4, 2002

I think that says it all. I've just finished uploading the first episode of the webcomic (view it here) and I'm feeling pretty good about it. It's a bit large, though, so, if I end up using it as the standard of the webcomic, that could mean a number of busy days for me.

Well, here's to hoping it at least goes over well, huh? Cheers.

NOTHING LIKE QUICK RESPONSES - October 3, 2002

It seems that Keenspace is a bit more picky about their applicants than I had expected. According to the automated response, I was told it would take about four to eight "business weeks" (I get nervous when they use terminology like that) before they would have a server set up -- or something to that effect.

No matter! I can wait. At least it'll give me time to save up my money and perhaps purchase a Wacom tablet. Not sure if I can get that much money that quick, but... if I can do that, then maybe I'll be able to do the webcomic in full bleedin' color. Wouldn't that be right lovely?

WEBCOMIC LOOMS ON THE HORIZON - October 2, 2002

Thanks to my taking a temporary sabbatical from the GameFAQs Random Insanity messageboard, I've been able to complete three new pictures as of 2:35 PM CST. So, what are you waiting for? Go check them out!

In local news, the webcomic idea has continued to germinate in my mind. I've decided against having it based in Random Insanity occurences because, frankly, that would be insane--it would be just too difficult to work with. Instead, I've opted to have certain RI users play roles in the story alongside the main character. And that's all for today!

Addendum: By "That's all for today," I mean, "That's all [the news] for today!" Don't worry: I'm still hard at work on those pictures!
