You continue down the path, following Paige who throws off all your attenpts at conversation. soon she stops so suddenly that you almost bump into her, but somehow manage to avoid it. She abruptly sits down and closes her eyes. You sit down next to her and ask her what she's doing.
"I'm calling Reef you idiot now be quiet so I can concentrate!" she answers. You relax and try to be quiet, wincing at the slightest sound. Soon a beautifulk blue and purple horse appears out of the corner of your eye. You stare at it for a time, your breath taken away by his beauty. He kneels down and nudges Paige. She opens her eyes and lays her hand on his soft muzzle. "What took you?" She asks, and you are astonished to find him answer, "setting up yet another new nest, Calamyne should stop taking in all these new creatures or we'll have to rearrange the entire forest." "She will always make sure there is enough room." Paige replies, turning to look up at you. "Reef, this is another visitor, Mareth decided to let this one live for some reason. This is Reef, he's a Serian, he also guards this area." "Like Calia?" you ask. "Yes, just like Calia." Paige answers.
"Reef, Mareth told me the human is to be brought to the circle. Could you tell the birds to send messages to the other guardians?" "Of course. Anything else I should know?" "Be prepared for another arrival." "Another one!? We have enough creatures already!" Paige met the Serian's gaze. "Be prepared."
Reef nods and races off the way he came.
