of the Valley of Wind -Ben
I have recently purchased the first volume of the Viz's translation of Nasicaä
of the Valley of Wind. It's very good, the images and drawings are mind
blowing and the story is classic. Expect something in the future,
images, synopsis or a review. But for now it's only news on this site
until we figure out the ROMs.
1/29/2002 7:04pm est: Tokyopop
starts Japanese "backwards" style manga -Ben
Well, I'm guessing you all know that mostly all translated manga in America
is "flopped", except manga like DB and DBZ. Now Tokyopop has
committed to not reversing it, and keeping it in the original format. According
to letters to Viz through the DB and DBZ manga, fans like the original
unflopped look, makes them feel authentic I guess.

Bebop Movie Licensed -Ben
According to Anime
News Service, the upcoming Metropolis DVD from Columbia Pictures
will include a trailer for the Cowboy Bebop: Knocking' on Heaven's Door
motion picture, practically confirming that Columbia has secured the
American distribution rights to the film.
Columbia is pulling out all the stops for the genuinely special special
edition Metropolis DVD that will feature the film in anamorphic
widescreen and optional pan & scan; optional English, French &
Spanish subtitles; optional English & French dubbed versions;
Japanese and English Dolby 5.1 and Japanese DTS 5.1 audio track; and a
mini DVD including a "Making of Metropolis" featurette,
interview with Rin Taro and Katsuhiro Otomo, history of Tezuka's
Metropolis manga, Japanese & American theatrical trailers, animation
comparisons, Tezuka biography, production notes, and bonus trailers for
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and the Cowboy Bebop movie. -AnimeNation

DVD extra -Ben
Columbia Tri-Star will be including a 3 inch DVD extra with the upcoming
release of Metropolis. The 3 inch DVD will contain 1 hour of special
features. While this is being dubbed as a "first for the major
studios," it isn't the first time a North American Anime release
has included a 3 inch extras disc. The French Canadian Albator (Harlock)
Boxed set also includes a very similar 3 inch DVD. -Anime

News sites are a pain -Ben
Hello all, this is the first real update for the site. I have added
a contact section, and a links section. Other wise all the links are
broken on the navigation bar. So don't even try it.
