NCAA Anime Events

These contests are run in the free time of some very bored people, so feel free to look, laugh, cheer, or whatever, but don't complain. We'll just ignore it anyway.


Best Anime of 2003

NCAA Awards

We are currently accepting nominations for the NCAA awards, honoring the best in japanese animation in the following catagories:

Best Art
Best Music
Best Opening Sequence
Best Single Episode
Best Ending Sequence

Best Dramatic Series
Best Action Series
Best Comedy Series
Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Series
Best Original Series
Best Feature

Best Male Leading Character
Best Female Leading Character
Best Male Supporting Character
Best Female Supporting Character
Best Director

Worst Anime
Best Anime

In order to be eligible, a series must have debuted between January 1st and December 31st of 2003, or have aired at least 26 new episodes during that period. Here is a list of the TV series and OVAs that are being considered.

We will accept up to 3 nominations in each category per person.

In order to participate in the final vote, you must make at least one nomination in at least 8 categories.

For now, we are taking questions and accepting nominations here or here. Please include the phrase 'NCAA Awards' somewhere in the subject line.

You can also fill out the online form, or print one out and give it to us personally. We don't really expect any to come by snail-mail, but if you choose to do that, please have them sent no later than April 20, 2004.
