Summary
As usual, there are crimes that Conan successfully solves. Shinichi receives an invitation to a party and asks Ran to go in his place. They made a deal that Ran would go to the party and Shinichi has to go to a movie with her on May 3rd. Ran then asks if Shinichi likes blue or red, and Shinichi chooses red. Later, Conan finds out that May 3rd is Shinichi's birthday and Ran is planning to give Shinichi a red polo shirt as birthday present when midnight strikes at the all night movie, Legend of the Red Thread. The legend is that a man and woman fall in love because a red thread ties them together by the pinky since birth. Later, someone put bombs at different places. On May 3rd, the last bombs are where they're supposed to see the movie and where Ran is right now. Conan rushes there and Ran is faced with the task of defueling the last bomb. After a long time the only and key wires are the blue one and the red one...
