Description: Shippou is a young fox demon or kitsune youkai in Japanese. He lost his parents to other demons and origanally planned to take the Shikon no Tama shards to become strong and avenge his family.

Miroku

Description: Miroku is everything a houshi or monk shouldn't be. His father and family was cursed with a hole in his right palm that acts like a vaccum by Naraku...until Naraku dies his family will always have that hole. Anyway the hole eventually grew bigger and killed his father. But Miroku was passed on with that hole and seeks revenge of Naraku.
He flirts with woman to bear his child... eventually at the end of the series he asks Sango and she says yes.

Sango

Description: Sango's family and the village she lived in was destroyed by Naraku. Though at first she thought InuYasha destroyed her village.

Kirara

Description: Kirara is Sangos pet cat youkai. The 2-tailed cat is a very tame companion to Sango and her lifelong friend. It was given to Sango by her father when she was a kid and she formed a strong bond with it. Kirara's usually small and furry, but can transform into a huge saber-toothed cat look-alike and her fur's on fire. Kirara's ancient and was a companion to the mysterious priestess Midoriko in the past.
