Season 1 1. Pokémon I Choose You Description: Ash becomes a Pokémon Trainer, and he and his Pokémon, Pikachu, begin their travels. 2. Emergency Description: Ash meets Misty in a nearby town, where they come up against Team Rocket, who is attacking the Pokémon Center. 3. Ash Catches a Pokémon Description: Ash, Pikachu, and Misty find a Caterpie -- a forest Pokémon. Team Rocket shows up after Pikachu. 4. Challenge of the Samurai Description: While wandering in the forest, our heroes meet a mysterious young Samurai, who challenges Ash. 5. Showdown in Pewter City Description: Ash learns about the Pokémon League Championships -- he must have badges earned by defeating Gym Leaders in order to participate -- so he goes to the city Gym where he meets and challenges Brock. 6. Clefairy and the Moon Stone Description: Brock joins Ash and Misty. The group comes across some caves full of injured Pokémon and decides to try to help heal them by finding the legendary Moon Stone. 7. Waterflowers of Cerulean City Description: In his search for Trainer badges, Ash decides to go to the Cerulean City to challenge the Gym Leader, but the Gym isn't what he expected it to be. 8. Path to the Pokémon League Description: Ash goes up against a fierce Pokémon tamer who has 'never lost a match'. 9. School of Hard Knocks Description: Ash, Misty and Brock find themselves lost in a dense wood, where they come across a prep school for young Pokémon trainer-wannabes. 10. Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village Description: Still lost, the group stumbles across a strange village inhabited by Pokémon who were injured or abandoned by their trainers who are being cared for by a kind woman named Melanie. 11. Charmander - The Stray Pokémon Description: Ash, Misty and Brock venture into a big storm to rescue an abandoned Pokémon. 12. Here Comes the Squirtle Squad Description: A group of Squirtles join up with Team Rocket and manage to capture Ash and his friends, and lock an injured Pikachu in a cage. 13. Mystery at the Lighthouse Description: The gang comes across a lighthouse run by a Pokémon Researcher who is waiting the coming of a 'one of a kind' Pokémon. Does this Pokémon exist or is it a Team Rocket ploy? 14. Electric Shock Showdown Description: Pikachu and Ash see many injured Pokémon and learn they were all hurt by a Gym Leader, Surge. Ash challenges Marcus, and Pikachu discovers his opponent is the fierce Raichu. 15. Battle Aboard the St. Anne Description: The group takes a trip on a ship full of Pokémon Trainers but their trip is cut short when Team Rocket takes over the ship. 16. Pokémon Shipwreck Description: Ash, Brock and Misty go up against Team Rocket while trying to evacuate the sinking ship. 17. Island of the Giant Pokémon Description: Our heroes are being attacked by the fierce Pokémon Gyarados -- when a tornado sweeps them all up and deposits them in various locations about the island. 17 ˝. Tentacool and Tentacruel Description: Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu go up against a gigantic Tentacruel that is attacking the humans who are trying to destroy it's home to build a huge hotel. 19. Ghost of Maiden's Peak Description: In order to recover from their hard journey, the gang decides to participate in a local festival ... but what is Team Rocket doing there? And is the legend of Maiden Rock true? 20. Bye Bye Butterfree Description: Ash, Misty and Brock try to prevent Team Rocket from poaching Butterfrees. 21. Abra and the Psychic Showdown Description: The group meets a young girl who manages a gym of Pokémon using psychic powers. 22. Tower of Terror Description: Ash searches for a Ghost Pokémon to use against the Gym Leader's psychic powers. 23. Haunter vs. Kadabra Description: The psychic Gym Leader uses her powers to turn Brock and Misty into tiny dolls, leaving them helpless. 24. Primeape Goes Bananas Description: The gang meets Mankey, a wild Pokémon who can go into uncontrollable fits if rubbed the wrong way. 25. Scent-Sation Description: Ash wants to challenge the Gym Leader in Celadon City, but can't even get into the Gym after insulting the perfume that's made there. 26. Hypno's Naptime Description: Our heroes encounter a town where children are going missing, and the Pokémon at the Pokémon Center aren't getting cured. 27. Fashion Flash Description: At Brock's insistence, the team goes to a town of Pokémon breeders famous for it's Pokémon Beauty Salons. 28. Punchy Pokémon Description: Ash and his friends enter the PI Grand Prix, but with Team Rockets unwanted presence, the battle goes out of control. 29. Sparks Fly for Magnemite Description: Pikachu has a Pokémon cold, and while he's being treated, Ash, Misty and Brock help out the town during a power blackout. 30. Dig Those Digletts Description: A construction site is hiring Pokémon Trainers to help control the Diglet (earth Pokémon) who are delaying construction. 31. Ninja Pokémon Showdown Description: Ash seeks another badge at a Gym that turns out to be a ninja lair. 32. Flame Pokémon-athon Description: Our heroes come to a prairie where a family of Pokémon Ranchers live. 33. The Kangaskhan Kid Description: Ash, Misty and Brock accidentally stumble into a region where Pokémon are protected. When Ash tries to capture a Chansey, he ends up arrested by a ranger. 33 ˝. The Bridge Bike Gang Description: The gang comes across a bridge that's over 20 kilometers long and the only way to cross is by bicycle -- which they don't have. 35. Ditto's Mysterious Mansion Description: During a rainstorm, the group seeks shelter in a rundown cabin, where they meet another Pokémon Trainer, who Ash challenges. 35 ˝. Pikachu's Goodbye Description: While stopped for a rest in the woods, Pikachu sees a group of wild Pikachu, and runs into the woods after them. 37. Battling Eevee Brothers Description: The group finds an Eevee tied to a tree with a note and address attached to him. They decide to take the Anlageon to the address to see what's going on. 38. Wake Up Snorlax Description: The gang's search for food brings them to a small village, but they can't even find food there. A strange drought has dried up all the local crops, so the heroes investigate. 39. Showdown at Dark City Description: In the middle of a terrible desert, our heroes wander into Dark City, where Pokémon battles are taking place all over the town, leaving it almost destroyed. 40. March of the Exeggcutor Squad Description: The group comes across a carnival and decides to join in the fun and help a Magician put on a magic show. 41. Problem with Paras Description: Meowth falls ill and is saved by a girl with a knack for healing Pokémon. Team Rocket returns the favour by helping her evolve her Paras into a Parasect -- but do they have other motives? 42. Song of the Jigglypuff Description: Our heroes accidentally anger Jigglypuff, a Pokémon with the ability to cause sleep. Meanwhile, Team Rocket plots to harness Jigglypuff's power for their own use. 43. Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon Description: The discovery of Pokémon fossils in Grampa Canyon sparks a fossil-hunting boom, but the Aerodactly Ash encounters deep beneath the surface is far from extinct. 44. Chansey Operation Description: A sudden illness threatens Pikachu's life, and the nearest hospital is closed. Is there any hope for Pikachu? 45. Holy Matrimony Description: When James' mysterious past catches up with him, it looks like wedding bells ring the end of Team Rocket! 46. So Near, Yet So Farfetch'd Description: Misty falls prey to a Pokémon thief who uses his Pokémon, Farfetch'd to steal from other trainers. The screwy Psyduck is Misty's only hope to regain her stolen Pokémon! 47. Who Gets to keep Togepi? Description: The gang argues about who will get to keep the Pokémon that's to be born from the mysterious egg they've discovered, but Team Rocket has other plans for the egg. 48. Bulbasaur's Garden Description: Ash's Bulbasaur is kidnapped by a group of other Bulbasaur and taken to the Mysterious Garden for an evolution festival. 49. Case of the K9 Caper Description: Our heroes stumble into a training-ground for police Growlithe, but Team Rocket isn't far behind with a plan of their own for the Growlithe. 50. Pokémon Paparazzi Description: A new photographer friend harbors a mysterious secret that could mean danger for Pikachu. 51. Ultimate Test Description: Ash signs up for the Pokémon League Admissions Exam to prove his skill as a Pokémon master once and for all. But it's Team Rocket who puts everyone to the test. 52. The Breeding Center Secret Description: A new 'breeding centrer' is actually a cover for a diabolical scheme by Butch and Cassidy -- rivals of Team Rocket! Season 2 53. Princess vs. Princess Description: Misty and Jessie compete against one another for a "Queen of the Princess Festival", a day where girls rule and the guys have to do what ever they say. 54. The Purr-fect Hero Description: It's Kids Day, and Ash and friends help the children at a nearby school celebrate the holiday. 55. Riddle Me This Description: Ash, Brock and Misty travel to Cinnabar Island where Ash hopes to win his Volcano Badge. 56. Volcanic Panic Description: Ash continues his quest to attain his Volcano Badge once he finally locates the gym that is suspended over a pool of molten lava! 57. Beach Blank-Out Blastoise Description: As Ash and the gang rush to catch the last ferry off Cinnabar Island, they 'stumble' over a rare Pokémon in trouble. 58. The Misty Mermaid Description: One of Misty's water Pokémon is in urgent need of exercise, so the gang decides to take her Horsea to the gym run by her two sisters in Cerulean City. 59. Clefairy Tales Description: Ash, Brock and Misty get sidetracked on their way to Viridian City when all of their belongings mysteriously disappear. While searching for their missing things, the group find themselves mixed up in a close encounter that's really out of this world! 60. Battle of the Badge Description: Our friends are in Viridian City where Ash seeks to earn his 8th Earth Badge and the chance to compete in the Pokemon League. 61. It's Mr. Mime Time Description: Ash and crew are on their way back to Pallet to ask Prof. Oak about the mysterious Pokémon when they encounter a rare 'Mr. Mime' that has run away from it's master. 62. Holiday Hi-Jynx! Description: The gang come upon Jynx, the human looking Pokémon, who claims to be holding the boot of Santa Claus! 63. Snow Way Out Description: Countinuing their journey deep into the woods, the gang decides to climb a dangerous mountain. Pikachu get's lost leaving the others searching for him in a nasty snow storm. 64. Showdown at the Po-ke Corral Description: Team Rocket decides to try to steal all the Pokémon in Prof. Oak's lab -- including Ash and Gary's Pokémon! 65. The Evolution Solution Description: Ash decides to join his family and friends vacationing on Seafoam Island, and meets Professor Woodward, the programmer of the Pokedex. 66. The Pi-Kahuna Description: As decides to try surfing to stay in top shape. They meet a surfer who is afraid of riding a big wave that shows up once every 20 years. Can Ash help him get his confidence back? 67. Lights, Camera, Quaction Description: A movie director comes to town and everybody wants to be the "star". Ash, Brock, Misty and Team Rocket fight to make sure it's their Pokemon that will star opposite Wigglytuff. 68. Go West Young Meowth Description: The gang heads to Hollywood for the premiere of "Pokemon in Love" and Meowth is forced to look at his painful past. Meowth shares memories of his life before Team Rocket, and tells how and why he learned to walk and talk like a human. 69. Make Room For Gloom! Description: The group is back in Pallet Town. They meet up with Florinda. She's afraid that Gloom is not evolving into a Vileplume because she's not training it properly but her Gloom is doing just fine! 70. To Master the Onixpected Description: Ash, Brock and Misty head up to Mt. Hideaway to find one of the Elite Four Trainers. Ash and Brock hope he will teach them the "real" secrets of Pokemon training, but what they really learn is that Mt. Hideaway is the land of overgrown Onix! 71. The Ancient Puzzle of Pokemopolis Description: While Ash and Brock are training for the Pokemon League, they find a hidden temple containing Pokemon fossils. Misty remembers reading about a hidden city where people used to build temples to honour Pokemon. Have they stumbled upon the ancient city Pokemopolis? 72. Bad to the Bone Description: Ash, Brock and Misty leave Pallet Town and are on their way to the Pokemon League Tournament when they run into another trainer who's also headed for the Indigo Plateau. But this trainer has had all of his Pokemon Badges stolen from him and unless he gets eight more badges he won't be able to complete in the Tournament. Ash is challenged to a battle where the winner gets to keep all eight of Ash's Badges! 73. All Fired Up! Description: On the day before the Pokemon League Tournament, Ash, Brock and Misty watch as the torchbearer runs by on his way to Indigo stadium. They learn that it is the flame of a Moltres, a legendary Pokemon that stands for the spirit of the Pokemon League that lights the torch. It's Team Rocket once again who tries to spoil the moment when they attempt to steal the flame of the Moltres. 74. Round One-Begin! Description: It's day one of the Pokemon League Tournament. Ash's checking into the Pokemon Village where he's told his first battle will be held on the Water Field. Professor Oak suggests that he not go into battle with Squirtle as his only water Pokemon and sends Krabby over as a back up. Ash begins the battle by using his Krabby who's never fough before. 75. Fire and Ice Description: In between matches, Ash needs to drop off his Pokemon at the Pokemon Center to have them taken care of. Team Rocket takes this opportunity to make one more attempt at stealing Pikachu. They set up a Pokemon Center of their own and when Ash drops off his Pokeballs, they grab them and run. When he finally gets his Pokemon back, Ash must race to make it to his third match of competition. 76. The Fourth Round Rumble Description: Ash's fourth battle on the Grass Field is against Jeanette Fisher who brings a whole cheering section with her. Jeanette uses a powerful Scyther, which Ash has never battled before. Jeanette brings out her Bellsprout which Ash feels is not as good as his Pokemon. Ash lets his over-confidence take over. 77. A Friend In Deed Description: Ash's Mom and Professor Oak make a surprise visit to watch Ash battle in the Pokemon League Tournament. Professor Oak tells Ash that if he win his next battle he'll be able to use six Pokemon in battle instead of three. He also tells Ash to remember that if he does his best but loses his matches, he's still a winner! On their way back from dinner, Ash meets another trainer, Richie and they become fast friends. 78. Friend and Foe Alike Description: Ash and Richie end up against each other in the Pokemon League Competition. Ash and Richie make a promise to each other that because they're friends they will make this the best Pokemon battle they've ever had. Team Rocket kidnaps Ash and demands he give them Pikachu or he won't make it to the battle. 79. Friends to the End Description: It's the sixth round match and Ash, Misty and Brock are cheering for their new friend, Richie. Ash and Richie get to march with athletes for the closing ceremonies of the Competition where they add a Pokemon League Badge to their collection. 80. Pallet Party Panic Description: Ash and his friends return to Pallet Town for a hero's welcome. Team Rocket ruins the party when they try to steal Pikachu again. Professor Oak makes a request for Ash, Brock and Misty to go on another journey to bring back a mysterious looking Pokeball for him. 81. A Scare In The Air Description: Ash, Brock and Misty prepare for their long journey to Valencia Island to bring back the Pokeball. After discovering that the trip will take a month to get there, Ash manages to win a free blimp ride so it will take only a day. Once on board, they realize the blimp is being powered by Team Rocket! 82. Pokeball Peril Description: After making a crash landing onto Valencia Island, our heros get directions to Professor Ivy's lab where the mysterious Pokeball is being held. Brock realizes that Professor Ivy and her group of scientist are Pokemon breeders just like him. 83. The Lost Lapras Description: After picking up the "GS Ball" from Professor Ivy, Brock decides to stay on the island and Ash and Misty head back home by blimp. Unfortunately, our duo gets double-crossed by Team Rocket again, and Jigglypuff puts the whole crew to sleep. They crash land again in the middle on nowhere and meet a new friend named Tracey. 84. Fit to Be Tide Description: Ash, Misty and their new friend Tracey are exploring the Orange Islands as Ash sets out to qualify for the Orange League Tournament. After hearing that the Mikan Gym Leader is one of the toughest trainers in the Orange Crew, Ash can't wait for the challenge. 85. Pikachu Re-Volts Description: Just as Ash, Misty and Tracey set foot on Mandarin Island, Pikachu and Togepi turn against them and join a group of other angry Pokemon. Officer Jenny arrives and informs them that dozens of Pokemon have been reported missing, including Meowth! Everyone fears a Pyschic attack is behind this mystery. 86. The Crystal Onix Description: While riding around the Orange Islands on his Lapras, Ash finds a message in a bottle, which leads the gang on a new adventure. Ash, Misty and Tracey travel to Sunburst Island. They meet a young shopkeeper who's looking for inspiration from a "crystal Onix." Unable to find this special Pokemon, the shopkeeper turns to our heros. 87. In the Pink Description: A raging whirlpool takes our heros to top-secret Pinkan Island. Tracey's Pokemon watching skills are put to the test, while Ash's attempts at observing lead to trouble for both his friends and a pink Rhyhorn. Jenny and Professor Oak must explain to the gang why scientists alone are allowed on the island. 88. Shell Shock Description: Aboard Lapras, the group follows a news crew to an island, where a scientific expedition is underway after the discovery of a fossilized Kabuto. A bunch of natural disasters place our heros in danger, with only the power of their Pokemon to help them. 89. Stage Fight! Description: Ash, Misty and Tracey buy tickets to the Pokemon Showboat. An actress has been having problems with her Raichu ever since it shocked her. Ash and Pikachu may be able to help. But they'll have to deal with Team Rocket first, as they attempt to steal all the talking Pokemon. 90. Bye, Bye Psyduck Description: Misty meets another female trainer who is an expert on water Pokemon. The new trainer notices that Misty's Psyduck may be ready to evolve. A Golduck springs from the water and battles for Misty. 91. The Joy of Pokemon Description: While sailing between small islands, the group encounters an extremely busy Nurse, Joy. She invites our heros to travel with her. On the trip, they learn much about Pokemon and Joy's very special friendship with a Magikarp. Joy runs into trouble continuing her rounds once Team Rocket storms into the area. 92. Navel Maneuvers Description: A second Orange Islands trainer puts Ash and his Pokemon through a bunch of tests. Ash must climb a mountain without use of his Pokemon. Once at the summit, he must get the proper team of Pokemon to freeze moving water, make a bobsled, and then win a race on the sled. 93. Snack Attack Description: While Ash and friends are still discovering new islands, they come upon the seven "Grapefruit Islands" where groves of giant grapefruit are ripe. When it looks like thieves are stealing the grapefruit, Ash, Tracey and Misty volunteer to help catch them. What looked like hundreds of thieves was actually one giant, hungry...and sleepy culprit. 94. A Shipful of Shivers Description: Professor Oak tells Ash, Tracey and Misty that divers have found a three hundred year old Orange League Championship trophy off the coast of Moro Island. The trophey is on display at a museum for all to see. By the time they get to the museum, Team Rocket has already paid a visit and now it's up to our heros to track them down! 95. Meowth Rules! Description: Team Rocket has engine trouble and lands on an island where the natives are waiting for the "Great Meowth of Bounty" to come and fulfill an ancient prophesy. When Meowth gets mistaken for this creature with special powers, he enjoys the special treatment and decides to play along. 96. Tracey Gets Bugged Description: Ash and Tracey are thrilled when they reach Murcott Island, an island famous for having tons of bug-type Pokemon. Misty must try and overcome her fear of bugs when the trio finds an injured Scyther that needs treatment. Team Rocket gets into their own battle with a swarm of Scythers, and they come out of it with a whole new look! 97. A Way Off Day Off Description: Ash and the gang discover a new island that is loaded with different types of fruit trees. The decide to take a day off and give their Pokemon a little vacation. But Team Rocket doesn't take a day off from trying to steal Pikachu. 98. The Mandarin Island Miss Match Description: Ash, Misty and Tracey are on Mandarin Island where Ash has just won three battles. But he finally meets his match when they run into, Prima, one of the very best trainers on the Orange Islands. Misty is thrilled to meet her hero because she also trains water-type Pokemon, but, it's Ash who learns a lesson from this trainer. 99. Wherefore Art Thou, Pokemon? Description: Our heros are on their way to Trovita Island when they come across two Pokemon trainers who hate each other, even though their two Pokemon are in love. He has a male Nidoran and she has a female Nidoran and all that the two Pokemon want is to be together. Misty thinks that perhaps it's the two trainers that are in love as well! 100. Git Along, Little Pokemon Description: Ash, Misty and Tracey are bound for the next Orange League gym on Trovita when they find themselves trekking across lots of land, miles from anywhere. Tired, hungry and wet from a downpour, the gang spots a swarm of circling Magnemite gathering electricity from the lightening. Ash later finds out about a power outage in the next town and tries to save the day! 101. The Mystery Menace Description: Ash and the group make their way to Trovitopolis, which should lead them right to Trovita Island and the next Orange League gym! The earth cracks right beneath their feet and they find themselves in the sewer underground and not alone. There seems to be some sort of a "monster" living there that has been terrorizing the town. 102. Misty Meets Her Match Description: Our heros come across a young girl and her seel drowning. While Misty and her Staryu jump in the water and save them both, the young girl's brother watches the rescue through his binoculars and falls in love with Misty. The brother also happens to be the Trovita Island Gym Leader that Ash is determined to beat! 103. Bound For Trouble Description: After leaving Trovita Island, Ash and his friends stop off at a place that has a reputation for super-sized Pokémon. After falling for a Team Rocket trick that lands them in a giant hole in the ground, Pikachu gets stolen once again. This time Team Rocket locks Pikachu and Meowth together just before a giant Pidgeot swoops down and grabs them. Can the two survive in a land of giant Pokémon, being stuck together and without a key? 104. Charizard Chills Description: Ash, Tracey and Misty are sailing along on Lapras when they almost crashinto another Pokémon trainer wanting to battle Ash. This trainer heard about Ash from the Trovita Island gym leader and wants to put his Pokémon up against Ash's. When the new trainer uses a super-powerful Poliwrath on Charizard, it's more than anyone expects. Charizard finally decides to obey and respect Ash as not only his trainer but also his friend, and the two become closer than ever! Season 3 - Johto League Journey 105. The Pokémon Water War Description: Our heroes try, but are unable to extinguish a dangerous fire, until the local fire brigade-a trained team of Wartortle-arrives and squelches the flames. As a second fire rages, however, Team Rocket abducts the Wartortle, leaving Ash, Misty, Brock, and their Pokémon to somehow save the nearby town from a fiery end. 106. Pokémon Food Fight Description: When a defective Pokéball prevents Ash from recalling his Snorlax, he and his young friends must somehow heft this Pokémon's slumbering mass over a mountain pass to the nearest Pokémon Center. 107. Pokémon Double Trouble Description: Ash is anxious to face the gym leader who holds the final badge of the Orange League until he learns that this trainer is none other than the kindly townswoman who just helped him rally against a Team Rocket sneak attack. 108. The Whacky Watcher Description: Ash and friends are no sooner recruited as assistants in an elaborate project researching Magikarp evolution than Team Rocket surfaces, stealing the scene and the object of the young trainers' research. 109. The Stun Spore Detour Description: When a chance encounter with a Vileplume leaves Ash and Tracey incapacitated, Misty sets about finding a local weed that will restore their health. Meanwhile James and Meowth of Team Rocket lurk nearby, planning to steal the herb for their own use. 110. Hello, Pummelo Description: After winning his way to the final competition for the Orange League Winner's Trophy, victory seems a long shot for Ash when the gym leader deploys a powerful Gengar that topples one of Ash's Pokémon after another. 111. Enter The Dragonite Description: As if a gym battle with a Dragonite isn't challenge enough for one day, Team Rocket secretly surveys the weakened state of Ash's battling Pokémon and plots to turn the situation to their advantage. 112. Viva Las Lapras Description: It's piracy on the open seas and Ash and friends must rescue a local school of Lapras from would-be poachers, but how can they be of help when the Lapras, conditioned to fear humans, shun the young trainers? 113. The Underground Round-Up Description: A failed experiment has left the next town in Ash's path a virtual wasteland, overrun with Electrode. Ash and friends lend a hand in ongoing humane efforts at extricating these explosive Pokémon, until Team Rocket arrives with designs to detonate all of the Electrode. 114. A Tents Situation Description: Ash returns home and is greeted by a pleasant surprise-the face of an old friend-and one not so pleasant-Team Rocket has besieged the famous Oak Laboratory and captured all of the Pokéballs being held there. 115. The Rivalry Revival Description: An errand of Professor Oak's sets Ash on the road once again, but first he must face his old hometown rival, Gary, in a Pokémon Battle. 116. Don't Touch That 'Dile Description: Ash begins his journey in Johto, a region largely unexplored and populated with Pokémon entirely new to him and his friends. 117. The Double Trouble Header Description: In Pokémon battle, Ash soundly defeats an ambitious young trainer, who runs away dejectedly. Before Ash can comfort the novice, though, Team Rocket steps in, convincing the lad that Ash won by foul play, and recruiting the boy to their cause. 118. A Sappy Ending Description: Ash and friends discover a forest where Pinsir invaders are causing heavy deforestation. Investigation reveals the root of the problem: Team Rocket is carelessly harvesting sap from a nearby wood, thereby upsetting the balance of nature. 119. Roll On, Pokémon Description: Ash and friends are fortunate enough to stumble into a small valley where Donphan are used to harvest precious stones. Not so fortunate are the valley's residents; Team Rocket is on the heels of the young trainers and already hatching a plan to steal the stones for themselves. 120. Illusion Confusion Description: Who would be foolish enough to brave a thick forest in the dead of night without a Hoothoot guide? Certainly not Ash Ketchum… but when he settles for the only guide available-an inept Hoothoot with no sense of direction-maybe he would have been better off alone? 121. Flower Power Description: Our heroes must help prepare an insecure Bellossom dance troupe for their upcoming exhibition-a chore that's further complicated when Team Rocket attempts to steal the show with their raucous act. 122. Spinarak Attack Description: Ash and friends reach a new town and hear of a series of apparent copycat crimes mimicing those performed by a legendary master thief. The town rests its hopes in these young trainers to somehow stop this criminal duo and their Meowth accomplice. 123. Snubbull Snobbery Description: With pet food prepared by a French chef, rooms of WalkMaster exercise equipment, and closets stocked with the latest in Pokémon fashion, life couldn't be much better for a Palm Hills Snubble. When Team Rocket sets their sights on the upper crust, though, this pampered Pokémon will have to find a stronger side or lose its home. 124. Little Big Horn Description: Brock saves a lost and frightened Stantler fawn and carefully nurses it back to health. Little does he know, as he then releases the Stantler, that Team Rocket lies hidden nearby, waiting to capture the defenseless fawn. 125. Chikorita Rescue Description: Ash encounters a wild Chikorita and engages it in battle, thinking to add it to his team, but as Team Rocket watches the battle from afar, they decide the Chikorita would be better suited to Team Rocket. 126. Once in a Blue Moon Description: Professor Oak's errand-to deliver the mysterious GS Ball to a Pokéball expert-is interrupted when a Quagsire with a penchant for spherical objects steals the GS ball for use in a nocturnal ritual. 127. The Whistle Stop Description: When Team Rocket attacks, a friendly young trainer and her flock of Ledyba come to the aid of our heroes. With a bolt of electricity, Pikachu makes quick work of Team Rocket, but they look to capture a prize anyway: the same bolt from Pikachu sent the good Samaritan's Ledyba flying as well, and right into their clutches. 128. Ignorance is Blissey Description: Team Rocket can't believe their luck when the Blissey employed in a local Pokémon Center willingly turns over to them the entire center's food stores. As they abscond, however, an unexpected pang-be it the voice of conscience or simply villainous shame at having taken what was freely offered-tells them that they must return the food, but somehow without giving away the shameful secret of their innocence. 129. A Bout with Sprout Description: Our heroes are recruited as guest instructors at a youth Pokémon Academy, where Ash does his best as an educator until one of his pupils takes an overly ardent interest in Ash's Pokémon, finally kidnapping Pikachu and heading for the hills. 130. Fighting Flyer with Fire Description: With Pikachu's help, Ash is confident that winning the Zephyr badge will be a breeze, but when the gym leader's high-level Pokémon turn the tables on the textbook 'Electric over Flying' advantage, Ash will have to use more than raw power to emerge victorious. 131. For Crying Out Loud Description: Cute and cuddly is one thing, but this fragile bawl baby of a Marill is too much even for Misty. When all Misty's attempts to toughen up the little Pokémon fall short, Team Rocket takes her by surprise. Misty is left with no help or hope in sight-if only that little Marill weren't such a pushover. 132. Tanks a Lot Description: Team Rocket's most recent super vehicle, the Arbotank, is their ticket to world domination-until Togepi and its newfound Sentret buddy climb inside and inadvertently initiate a cross-country joyride that wreaks unstoppable destruction on everything in their path. 133. Charizard's Burning Ambitions Description: When Ash hears of the Charicific Valley-'a short flight away'-he is sure a trip there would be just the thing to boost his Charizard's spirits. When they reach the valley, though, they find its dragon denizens anything but cordial. Judged weak, and denied entrance to the valley, Charizard is left more dejected than ever. 134. Grin to Win Description: The annual Sunflora contest is only a day away and yet our heroes' new friend and Sunflora trainer is unable to convince her star Pokémon to compete. Complicating things further, Team Rocket enters under pseudonyms, planning to win by whatever means are required. 135. Chikorita's Big Upset Description: A severe case of sibling rivalry between Pikachu and Chikorita calls for therapy sessions with Nurse Joy (schooled in Pokémon psychology at the Pokémon Institute). In such delicate matters, there's no such thing as an overnight cure, though-or is there? The following day, when Team Rocket attacks, Ash will need all his Pokémon to overcome their latest construct. 136. Foul Weather Friends Description: In their travels, our heroes chance upon a Hoppip-the fluffy 'Cottonweed' Pokémon that is able to catch passing winds and drift for miles through the sky. The trainer of this Pokémon, whom they meet soon after, uses it and several others of its kind to help her forecast the weather. 137. The Superhero Secret Description: The legendary Gligarman grows old and begins to bend under the weighty task of fighting crime. When Ash and friends wander into town, they bring with them a challenge that threatens to be Gligarman's last-Team Rocket. 138. Mild 'n Wooly Description: Team Rocket comes in sheep's clothing to relieve a kind Mareep-herd of her flock. Ash and friends are eager to help, but will first have to convince the Mareep trainer to have a little faith in herself. 139. Wired For Battle Description: When the most promising trainee at a Pokémon battle dojo abandons battle altogether, opting to gather information for his comprehensive Poké-database instead, it's up to Ash and friends to convince him that battling, and life for that matter, is more than just a matter of probability. 140. Good 'Quil Hunting Description: With Charizard gone and no fire Pokémon to call his own, Ash is overjoyed to come across a Cyndaquil in the wild. Before Ash captures the little Pokémon, though, he'll have to face another trainer with similar designs. 141. A Shadow Of A Drought Description: Ash carelessly makes enemies of the Slowpoke-worshipping residents of the latest town in his path, but sees a chance at redemption when Team Rocket arrives to capture each and every one of these revered Pokémon. 142. Going Apricorn Description: Ash delivers the mysterious GS Ball to a renowned Pokémon expert, but Team Rocket threatens the entire operation when they attempt to harvest the Apricorn resources essential to local Pokéball production. 143. Gettin' The Bugs Out Description: When Ash reaches the Hive Gym, he has just the Pokémon to challenge the gym leader's Bug Pokémon. But what's this? Cyndaquil, the Fire Pokémon can't get its burners going. 144. A Farfetch'd Tale Description: An inexperienced young trainer mistakenly scares off his own Farfetch'd. Ash and friends are happy to help, but will have to find it before Team Rocket, their stomachs as empty as their piggy bank, can get their hands on this savory Pokémon. 145. Tricks Of The Trade Description: At the Pokémon Swap Meet, our heroes befriend a young Pokémon trainer who's having difficulties finding a trading partner willing to accept his Wobbuffet. When Jessie inadvertently deposits her Pokéball across from his in the exchanger, this young trainer gets more than he had bargained for. 146. The Fire-Ring Squad Description: An unexpected Pokémon fire-fighting competition reunites our heroes with several old friends. The favorite for victory is Russell, from the Orange Islands, and his fire-fighting Team Wartortle. Ash and friends are even more surprised, however, to find Officer Jenny entering the competition with the one and only Squirtle Squad. 147. No Big Woop Description: By two different routes, our heroes and Team Rocket converge on a small mountain cottage. There Ash and friends, arriving first, meet a young girl who has used this ideal mountain location and its endless supply of fresh water to raise Wooper. 148. Tunnel Vision Description: Our heroes have always had a Hamlin-esque ability to draw various parties behind them, but on this day, their entourage is a too much to handle. As they approach a nearly impassable tunnel inhabited by Onix, they are followed not only by the imperturbable Team Rocket, but also their old tag-along Jigglypuff, and finally the Snubbull they liberated from riches shortly after beginning their Johto adventures. 149. Hour Of The Houndour Description: As our heroes stop to prepare a hearty traveler's lunch, an unseen observer makes off with Ash's backpack, leaving no evidence of the crime but one large footprint. Shortly thereafter, Team Rocket falls victim to the same thief, losing the ham they had themselves stolen from Nurse Joy. 150. The Totodile Duel Description: Stopping by a promising lake, Misty kindly offers to coach Ash and Brock in the finer points of Pokémon angling, but even with her help nothing seems to be biting. When a single Totodile finally does show itself, Ash and Misty are left fighting over who gets to keep it. 151. A Heated Match Description: At the local Pokémon Center, the trainer of an injured Pokémon warns Ash to avoid the nearby mountain plain where a "dangerous" trainer challenges all who pass. Rather than heeding the warning of course, Ash takes it as a challenge and sets out to find this formidable trainer. The trainer, being an attractive young woman, first gains Brock's attention, and ends up drawing him into a battle with her Skarmory. 152. Love, Totodile Style Description: Ash's Totodile learns the pains of first love when it falls for a passing Azumarill, but finds these feelings unrequited. The Azumarill belongs to the director of a local Pokémon circus, who relies on this and other Pokémon to draw an audience. 153. Fowl Play Description: Our heroes' travels take them through a deep forest where they discover a Pokémon roost where a middle-aged trainer is hiding out in hopes of catching the Noctowl with rare coloring that lives there. This Noctowl possesses powerful hypnotic abilities, which it uses to stop Ash's attempts at its capture, leaving a confused Ash speaking with stones. 154. Forest Grumps Description: A net falls from the clear blue sky and all our heroes' Pokémon are lifted into the air. Team Rocket has decided to make not only an early start, but also an unusually ambitious one. No sooner do they attempt to make their getaway, though, than an unexplained beam of energy from the nearby forest blasts them out of the sky. 155. The Psychic Sidekicks Description: A roadside sign warns our heroes that they are approaching Ghost Pokémon territory. Knowing that Psychic Pokémon hold an advantage against Ghosts, Misty calls on Psyduck to protect them. Fearing the Ghost Pokémon itself, Psyduck turns out to be little help, though. Even as Ash and friends are wondering how to strengthen the Psychic arm of their Pokémon team, a young trainer emerges from the nearby bushes and informs them of a local town where large numbers of Psychic Pokémon are trained. 156. The Fortune Hunters Description: Pokémon fortune telling is the talk of the latest town Ash and friends pass through. This fortune-telling system categorizes people into a number of predetermined Pokémon types, which then reveal character traits and even the fate of these people. Season 4 -Johto League Championships 157. A Goldenrod Opportunity Description: After arriving in Glenrod City to earn his gym badge and finding the gym closed, Ash and his pals take a tour only to realize that their guide is his gym leader. 158. A Dairy Tale Ending Description: Still recuperating from their last match, Ash and his Pokémon challenge gym leader Whitney and her powerful Miltank to another battle - out of the gym. 159. Air Time Description: When Ash is invited to act in a radio show, he ends up having to fight Team Rocket who are disguised as fellow actors. 160. The Bug Stops Here Description: Friendship turns into rivalry when Ash competes against Casey during a Bug Pokemon Catching Contest. 161. Type Casting! Description: In return for passage across a river after a storm has washed out the bridge, Ash and his pals must find the Pokemon called Sudowoodo. 162. Fossil Fools Description: Ash and his friends join Professor Oak at a Pokemon theme park to visit ancient Pokemon when Team Rocket barges in and takes hostages. 163. Carrying On Description: While Ash and his friends are getting a tour of a Pidgey postal business, Team Rocket captures Pidgey for their own profit. Ash must help the owners rescue the Pidgey to save the business. 164. Hassle in the Castle Description: Team Rocket breaks into a castle clinic where Pokemon are used to cure patients and end up throwing themselves and Brock into maze in the basement. 165. Two Hits and a Miss Description: Ash helps a girl improve her martial arts dojo skills so that she can take over for her grandfather as leader of the dojo. 166. A Hot Water Battle Description: Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile are fighting with each other when they tumble into a passage beneath the jungle where Team Rocket member Meowth is also trapped. The unlikely foursome must work together to save themselves. 167. Hook, Line and Stinker Description: Misty is eager to show off her fishing skills in a competition until she realizes that a rude, but skilled Poliwrath trainer, has also entered. 168. Beauty and the Breeder Description: Brock returns the Vulpix to old friend Suzie and together they enter the Pokemon Breeder Competition. Team Rocket also register and aim to win. 169. A Better Pill to Swallow Description: Team Rocket kidnap a number of Shuckle that create natural remedies for ailments. Ash must save the Shuckle before the medicine is tainted. 170. Power Play! Description: After being humiliated by Gary, Ash must accept his help to fight against Team Rocket's new offense. 171. Mountain Time Description: Ash's group and their new forest patrol friend must work fast to save the Pikachu and Togepi after being kidnapped by Team Rocket. 172. Wobbu-Palooza Description: Ash and friends must figure out a peaceful way to save Wobbuffet Village during a non-violent festival when a gang of ruffians threaten to destroy the town. 173. Imitation Confrontation Description: Team Rocket make off with rare Pokemon, Ditto, and our heroes rush to find it before it's traded to collectors. 174. The Trouble with Snubbull Description: Pampered Pokemon Snubbull ran away into the woods and has evolved into a strong Granbull. It soon falls into the hands of Team Rocket who won't hand the Pokemon over without a reward from the rich owner. 175. Ariados Amigos! Description: Ninja student Aya must get over her lack of confidence to stand alone against Team Rocket when both our heroes and her teacher can do no more. 176. Wings 'N' Things Description: Former owner of a Pokemon whose power is shattering glass, a young boy is blamed for Team Rocket's plan of shattering the town's windows. 177. The Grass Route Description: Ash becomes overconfident after a recent victory and chooses to gloat, while the loser trains all that much harder for the upcoming contest. 178. The Apple Corp! Description: Team Rocket causes problems when Ash tries to work out a solution between an orchard owner and hungry Pichu that live nearby. 179. Hounddoom's Special Delivery Description: Ash and the gang are worried when they learn of Togepi's disappearance following a battle and find huge footprints that follow her own. 180. The Tower Inferno Description: Victory over villains, Jessie and James, will only be possible if Ash and his friends conjure up the legendary Pokemon spirits at an ancient meeting place. 181. From Ghost to Ghost Description: Chances of winning a gym battle in the Johto League are slim when Ash and his Pokemon challenge the impressive strategies of the gym leader Morty and his Ghost Pokemon. 182. Trouble's Brewing Description: Ash and his friends must beat three skilled sisters to prove that they are worthy companions for their fourth and youngest sister. 183. All That Glitters Description: When a flock of Murkrow Pokemon steal Ash's new earned badges and James' prized bottle cap collection Ash must actually team up with the Pokemon thieves to prevent them from being used for James ' nefarious plans. 184. The Light Fantastic Description: Ash and friends discover a ruined city in the desert inhabited by an elderly artist who is trying to immortalize on canvas a beautiful light in the desert. 185. Unbearable Description: A new Pokemon that Misty finds turns out to be a trouble maker for her, Ash and the rest of the gang and then Team Rocket. But Team Rocket's plan for revenge may go awry when the trouble maker evolves into its new ferocious form. 186. Moving Pictures! Description: Ash and friends go on a camera safari for the elusive Articuno Pokemon and listen to tall tales while they unthaw a frozen Sunkern Pokemon. 187. Spring Fever Description: The search for the Articuno continues and Team Rocket tries to use Swinub Pokemon to drill for oil. 188. Freeze Frame Description: The search for the Articuno brings success and team Rocket, who want to capture it and not simply photograph it, like Todd. But a fierce blizzard may prove to be the greatest danger. |
