Our Story (abridged)

It was like any other day in the village I lived in. We would all play around like any other Digimon in our stage…but to get to the point…As I was saying, I was in the Stunomon Village, when suddenly an old man was standing nearby. He coughed, and began to speak:
“Now, one of you has been chosen to find a child named Alana,” the old man (Jennai) showed us all a hologram of a human girl of about five turning around slowly. She was dressed in jeans and a purple tee shirt (Alana’s vest wasn’t in existence yet). It was then that Jennai pointed at me, and said, “You shall be the one I choose.”
I slowly began to lift into the air, and with a sudden pop, I was somewhere in the forests that were far south of my Village. I looked around, and wondered where I was. Then Jennai appeared, and said, “You are now to find the child. Good luck.” And with that, he was gone!

I was in my room at the time when the DigiVice flew into it. The egg that was under my arm had gone. Of course, I lifted the device to the computer when I had grabbed it, and was sucked into it. Now, the odd thing is, the egg that I had had seemed to go away for a while, but…

I had been looking for this ‘Alana’ for about two months, when a sudden flash of light and a purple-blue light streaked toward the ground only a few meters away. I was able to reach the spot within a few moments. When I did I saw a girl lying on the ground. She looked exactly like the girl from Gennai’s hologram. So, I hopped over to her and began to chant her name.

“Alana! Alana!”

I awoke to the odd sound of someone saying my name over and over. When I saw the animal that was next to me, I acted as though it weren’t there.

A few weeks passed, and gradually, I began to realize that I wouldn’t be going back to earth, and the Digital World became my home. But, then I found another child, and with him was another Digimon…
