How To Fight
This section will explain to you how to fight, if you dont know
First thing you need to do if find an opponent, so you ask someone on the message board or by IMing them through AIM.
Next you have to find a ref, this is any of the updaters or a person the GM qualifys as a ref.
Now you find a chat room somewhere, you can invite as many people as you like but there will be NO TALKING, got it? good.
Now you see who has the higher speed, that person goes first
Dodging, Countering, and Blocking
Blocking has the highest rate of success, followed by dodging, then countering.
This will all be determined randomly by the roll of a die, which you will see the results in the chat.
The number of sides of the die is affected by your health and mainly speed.
-When you block someone, you only take a % of the total damage. This is also affected by your oppponents strength
-When you dodge you simply dodge the attack all together and take no damage.
-When you counter, you are negating your opponents attack and attacking him on his turn, meaning if you successfully hit you can hit him twice in a row. When you counter, your opponent can choose to dodge or block.
You will call what you want to do(dodge, block, counter) before the dice roll. The ref will then roll the die
The Dice
The chance of all of this is majorly affected by your remaining health percentage and your speed vs you opponents speed. If you are at low health, the chance of succeeding is obviously going to be lower. Same going with if you have lower speed than your opponent.
The die starts off with a base of 10 sides. The sides is what is affected by your health and speed. If you have lower speed than your opponent, the sides will increase.
the dice results are as follows:
if you choose to block you must get a 1,3,6, or 7
if you choose to counter you must get a 1 or 3
if you choose to dodge you must get a 1,3, or 5
Health
Health also plays a big role in this battling system. Just like in a real life situation, a person with lower health will not be as efficient as a person with full health. here is an example of how health effects a battle.
Dodging, blocking or countering example: Koola has 6 speed and 60% health. Gohan has 8 speed and 100% health. The 10 sided die would already become a 12 sided die because of the speed advantage gohan has, but with the health advantage it would be a 14 sided die. Heres how:
100%-60%=40%
40%/2=20%
20% of 12(the number of sides on the die already)=2.4
2.4+12=14(rounded down since below .5)
Die is now 14 sided because of health
Successful blocking example: Same scenario stats and health wise, except now I chose to block, and I block successfully. this is how health affects blocking:
100%-60%=40%
40%/4=10%
10% less damage taken from a blocked hit.
we will finish the fighting instructions later but you can still spar/battle.
Sparring
-Sparring-
Sparring is basically fighting without killing the other person. When you spar, you will still bring them down to 0 PL, but they will only be KO'd, not killed. It goes the exact same as a battle, but the gains arent as much. After you spar, for 24 hours you can not spar or battle again, as you will be resting. And the day after you spar, the only training are aloud to do is master training, or a type of training where you are learning something(Technique,Skill, Technique/skill improvement). The other 3 training slots will be put on hold as you need them to recover from the spar. This goes for winning and losing a spar.
Refs will get 40 zeni for reffing a 1 on 1 fight, 75 for reffing a 3 way, and 100 for reffing a 4 way.
2 person fight:
Winner: Gets 10% of the losers p.l. and exp.
Loser: gets 7% of the winners p.l. and exp.
If the loser is a saiyan: gets 8.5% of the winners p.l. and exp.
3 person fight:
Winner: Gets 7.5% of each persons pl and xp.
Second place: Gets 5% of each persons pl and xp. 5
Third place: Gets 6% of each persons pl and xp.
If Third place is a saiyan:Gets 6% of each persons pl and xp.
4 person fight:
Winner: Gets 6% of each persons pl and xp.
Second place: Gets 5% of each persons pl and xp.
Third place: Gets 4% of each persons pl and xp.
Fourth place: Gets 3% of each persons pl and xp.
If 4th place is Sayian: Gets 4.5% of each persons pl and xp.
Battling:
When you Battle someone you are fighting for real. This means you are really trying to hurt each other or kill each other. You have the opportunity to either kill or spare your opponent at the end of this fight. Once he reaches 0 Pl, you may choose to kill him with either a Ki attack or some enviormental death. You cannot kill with punches and kicks, and you can not leave him there to die, because he/she will heal. If you go below 0 pl from using a ki attack, you die, but your opponents alignment doesnt change.
Battling gains: If you Battle someone and win you will Get 10% of their pl and experience while you will get nothing if you die and if you get spared you will get 5% of their pl and exp unless you are a saiya-jin where you will get 8% of your pl and exp.
Allignment changes:if you are evil then no matter who you kill even if he/she is evil you will remain evil. Neutral people who kill evil people stay the same and the same if they kill other neutral people. But Killing a person who has good alignment will cause you to turn evil unless the person who is good was the person who requested the fight which would make it self defence. If you are good, Killing another good person will make you evil and killing a Neutral or evil person will keep your allignment the same. This may change depending on your past history with an opponent.
