Attack of the Evil Sibling

By: Lauryn Marino

This fanfic is dedicated to my good friend Amphax :) Well...I hope he's my good friend...Amphax? You ARE my friend, right? RIGHT?! Er...anywayz, after I told him about the evil sister I grew up with, he suggested that I write a fic involving an evil sister. So, I've decided that I shall use his idea to get out all my childhood frustrations...must kill all...must kill.....Oops...did I say that outloud? Anywho, enjoy...and be afraid...be very afraid...

A smile slowly formed over the female warriors face as the Earth came into view. She chuckled softly as she steered her ship toward the peaceful planet, hoping she'd find the person she was looking for.

Vegeta grinned and sent a large ki attack toward Mirai Trunks, who dodged the blast with only inches to spare. "Father! I said I was done! I'm tired!" The prince rolled his eyes. "I'm tired, I'm tired. What a weakling!" he mocked. Trunks glared at his father angrily and walked back to Capsule Corp, where Bulma was waiting at the door. She waited until her battered future son had gone inside before turning back to Vegeta. "Why do you have to be so mean to him? You know he only has good intentions!" He frowned and wiped off a small amount of blood that trickled down the corner of his mouth. "That's the problem, woman! He's too soft!" Bulma glared at him for a moment before disappearing into the house. "You'll get what's coming to you someday." she called. Vegeta snorted and prepared to return to his gravity room for some intense training. Suddenly, he felt a very odd ki not too far off and looked up at the sky to get a better reading. As soon as he did so, the strange ki seemed to disappear as quickly as it had appeared, puzzling the Saiyajin. He turned and shrugged it off, but still...something was unsettling.

Vegeta spent hours training before he finally returned to Capsule Corp, where he found Trunks watching tv. He frowned at him as he walked by. "You're so lazy, brat!" Trunks cringed and grit his teeth. "I am not! You just train too much." Vegeta decided to ignore him and sat down in a chair, where he looked at the tv in annoyance. "Today, on Jenny Jones, children will be reunited with their long lost fathers!" Vegeta rolled his eyes as the audience clapped. "What is this sissy stuff? Gimme that!" "Hey! I'm watching that!" Trunks cried as his father grabbed the remote and changed the channel. "Not anymore." Vegeta stopped flipping channels to watch a fight going on between two men as a woman watched from her seat. "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!!" He grinned. "That's more like it." Trunks frowned. "But it's staged! They're payed to fight!" "So? I find it entertaining. I don't care if they're payed or not."

After about ten minutes, Trunks was starting to actually like the stupidity of the people on stage as well as the audience members. "This is kinda addicting..." Vegeta nodded and looked toward the door as the bell rang, as did Trunks. They waited a moment until it rang again. "Woman! The door!" "I'm busy! Get it yourself!" Bulma shouted from the other room. "I'm busy too! You get it!" Vegeta shouted back. "Trunks, you get it!" she replied. "Fine!" he mumbled in annoyance as he got up and walked to the door, his eyes never leaving the tv. He blindly reached for the knob and opened the door. "Yeah?" he said without even looking to see who it was. "Uh, hi Trunks, where's Vegeta?" Trunks looked at Goku and smiled. "Oh, hi Goku! He's right here." Goku walked in and found Vegeta still staring at the tv. "Vegeta?" No answer. He frowned a bit and walked over to him, waving his hand on front of his face. "Hellooo? Vegeta?" Still no response. Trunks chuckled a bit. "He's kinda addicted to the Jerry Springer show..." "Jerry Springer?" Goku looked at the tv and was hooked within a few seconds. He and Trunks both sat down on the couch and gazed at the tv. "This is so incredibly stupid....but I can't stop watching..." Goku said in awe. Vegeta and Trunks nodded.

A few minutes later, Bulma strolled in. "Did anyone ever get the door?" She stopped when no one answered and turned toward them, spotting Goku. "Oh, hi Goku! What's up?" She waited, but no response. "Darn it! It's that blasted Jerry Springer show again! I swear, you Saiyajins are addicted to this show like humans are addicted to drugs!" She stormed over and grabbed the remote from Vegeta, flipping the tv off. The three Saiyajins gasped in horror, turning to Bulma. "Turn it back on!" Trunks cried. "Yeah!" Goku complained. "That woman was about to bitchslap that guy!" Vegeta blinked and looked at him. "Kakarotto? When'd you get here?" "Oh yeah, I came here to ask you something, but I forgot what it was..." "Was it important?" Trunks asked. Goku nodded, looking at the floor in intense thought. Everyone waited for twenty minutes before he finally remembered. "Oh yeah! I remember now! I keep feeling this really evil ki approaching and it seems very similar to your ki, Vegeta. Have you felt it?" Vegeta thought about it a second. "I felt a strange ki earlier, but how can you tell whether or not it's evil, Kakarotto?" "I dunno. I usually can't, but this ki is different....pure evil...can't tell how strong it is though." "Well, lets' go find the source." Trunks said as he got up from the couch. "Yeah, that's a good idea," Bulma said. "Besides, you've been inactive for almost an hour Vegeta." Vegeta gasped and looked at a clock. "What? It's been that long?! Curse that Jerry Springer show!"

The three Saiyajins jumped up and ran outside, taking to the air. They flew for a good hour or so with no signs of the strange ki. "What a waste of time." Vegeta muttered. "No, every time I felt it, it was around here, so be patient." Goku said, looking down at the ground as it raced past. Trunks yawned. "Maybe you're mistaken. I never felt anything." Goku frowned a bit and slapped Trunks in the back of the head. "Don't question me, brat! I'm the third class of all Saiyajins! I know what I'm talking about!" Trunks looked surprised for a moment, but smiled when he saw Goku grinning over at Vegeta, who looked less than amused. "How dare you mock me, Kakarotto!" He shrugged and continued to grin. Trunks suddenly punched Goku in the arm. "How dare you slap me in the head, peasant! I'm the son of a Prince!" He chuckled and took off into the clouds as Goku flew after him to get even. Vegeta frowned and looked on in disgust. "Can't either of you act like adults for more than five minutes?!"

After a good two hours of searching on Vegeta's part, and fooling around on Goku and Trunks' part, the three Saiyajins decided to take a break and landed in a field, not too far from a lake. "Well I haven't felt that ki again, have either of you?" Goku asked. Vegeta glared at the ground, angry about all the wasted time. "No." Trunks shook his head no as he brushed some hair out of his eyes. "Excuse me..." a voice said behind them. The three spun around, their eyes falling upon a woman wearing Saiyajin armor. She had short shoulder length black hair that framed her round face, along with jet black eyes. They all looked at her in shock as they spotted a Saiyajin tail flickering around behind her perfect build.

"A Saiyajin?" Vegeta managed to choke out. The woman smiled as her eyes settled on the prince. "Yeah, that's right. I'm sure it's safe to assume the same about you three?" Goku nodded. "I thought we were the only Saiyajins left." She shook her head no. "Well, it would seem that there's one more...but it would also seem that you three aren't one with words... My name is Mandy, how about you guys?" Trunks finally snapped out of the daze he'd been in as he gazed at the woman. He'd never seen a female Saiyajin before. "Oh, my name is Trunks, that's Goku, and that's my father, Vegeta." Mandy smiled as she looked at Vegeta again. "So you are Vegeta...I knew it..hard to mistake a mug like that." Vegeta frowned. "What are you talking about? I've never seen you before." Mandy's smile faded and a frown took its place. Goku was surprised about how similar she looked to Vegeta when she did that. "What?! You don't remember me? How rude!! How can you forget? Did you bump your head or something?!"

Vegeta's frown deepened as he studied the woman. She seemed a couple years older than himself and did resemble him somewhat. Suddenly, it dawned on him who she was and his face went pale. "YOU!" She smiled. "It's about time. Sure my hair was longer last time you saw me, but that's no reason for you to forget." Goku and Trunks looked confused as they looked at Vegeta, who looked as if he'd seen a ghost. "Uh...someone want to fill us in?" Goku asked. Mandy looked over at him, then back at Vegeta. "Sure. I'm Vegeta's older sister." Goku and Trunks gasped. "What? I never knew you had a sister, Vegeta!" Goku said in shock. He folded his arms. "I was hoping I didn't after Planet Vegeta was blown up." Mandy glared at him, but smiled again when Goku and Trunks looked back at her, faking a laugh. "Oh, he doesn't mean that. We were close, real close." She walked over to Vegeta, who seemed to cower a bit as she put her arm around his shoulders. "Right, brother?!" Trunks picked up a bit of a menacing tone as she spoke, almost a threatening tone. Vegeta quickly moved away from her and nodded nervously.

Mandy grinned at her brother and looked back at the other awe struck Saiyajins. "I'm sure you're all wondering how I survived Planet Vegeta's destruction." She paused as they all nodded, except for Vegeta, who was mumbling angrily, his arms folded. "Quite simple actually. I wasn't even on the planet when it was destroyed. I happen to be a few planets away on a mission to conquer a small civilization. When I returned, the planet was gone, as were all the Saiyajins that took up residence there. Fortunately, I just happen to travel toward this planet and picked up Saiyajin energy signals...one of which I recognized as my little brothers. So naturally, I decided to say hello, seeing as how I haven't seen him in several years." Trunks was in deep thought. "If you survived...I wonder if any other Saiyajins are still wandering around in space..."

Goku shrugged. "I dunno, but I'm starving. I say we all go get something to eat." Mandy smiled. "Great! I'm starving!" Vegeta glared at her. "I don't remember inviting you." "I don't remember you extending the invitation!" she growled, smiling as she turned to Goku, grabbing his arm. "Right, Goku?" "Uh..yeah, I guess." The two took to the sky, obviously sharing the same passion for food as they darted off with an alarming amount of speed. Trunks blinked as they disappeared from view and started to fly away himself, stopping when he realized Vegeta wasn't following. "Father? Aren't you coming?" He frowned and folded his arms angrily. "No!" "Why not?" "Isn't it obvious? I can't stand to be around that....that..." "Mandy?" "Yes! I can't stand her!" Trunks laughed and landed. "You can't stand anyone, how is she any different?" Vegeta's eyes seemed to narrow a bit as he grabbed Trunks' shirt. "Because she's evil! Pure evil! She'll be your best friend one second, and rip your throat out the next! Careful what you say around her, boy! The slightest thing will set her off...she nuts..." Trunks looked at his father blankly as he pried his hands off his shirt. "Really? I did sense some strange vibes coming from her...Ok, we should catch up and warn Goku. He already said he sensed evil coming from her." Vegeta nodded and took to the air, chewing on his nails through his gloves.

BACK AT CAPSULE CORP...

Trunks and Vegeta slowly peeked in the door, expecting complete havoc, but there was silence. "Oh no," Vegeta gasped. "She's already killed them all!" "Killed who?" Trunks and Vegeta both screamed in terror as they spun around to face Mandy, who was eating a chicken leg. "What's your problem?! God!" They both stopped screaming as Goku and Bulma walked up behind her, eating as well. "Vegeta, you never told me you had a sister." Bulma said, smiling at Mandy, who smiled back nicely. "It's not something I like to brag about." he muttered. Mandy glared back at him and balled her fist at her side with clenched teeth, causing a wave of fear to hit the Saiyajin. "Well, come on, let's go back to the kitchen. You two can catch up on things there." Bulma said happily, completely oblivious to the fact that the other Saiyajins were all uneasy around Mandy. "Sure, come on Vegeta." she said through clenched teeth.

Everyone proceeded to the kitchen where they all sat down. "So this is your son from the future, eh, Vegeta?" Mandy didn't wait for him to answer before turning to Goku. "And you're the strongest fighter in the universe I hear? Impressive." Goku nodded and he continued to eat without saying a word. Mandy returned her gaze to Vegeta, who was sitting across the table from her, staring at her with a hateful glare. "Have you reached the level of Super Saiyajin yet, little brother?" He smirked a bit. "Of course, haven't you?" Her smile faded. "None of your business! YOU'RE ALWAYS IN TO MY BUSINESS!!!!" Everyone paused and stared at Mandy in shock, surprised by her sudden outburst. Vegeta leaned over to Trunks, who was sitting next to him. "See? I told you...every little thing..." Trunks nodded and gulped as he looked at the enraged Saiyajin as she glared at her brother. Within a few seconds, she realized everyone was staring at her and forced a smile. "Uh, heh...sorry about that...I'm just a little stressed after my long trip." "Really? I hope you didn't hit your head too hard. You might have actually knocked something back into place." Vegeta mocked. Mandy's eyes seemed to flash red as she dove across the table and grabbed him, pulling him face to face. "You are so dead! Just wait till you're alone...you better sleep with one eye open, buddy boy!" she said in a whisper, so no one else could hear. Again, she smiled and let Vegeta go, returning to her seat. "Still as annoying...er...I mean, witty as ever." she chuckled.

When everyone was finished eating, Mandy began to tell stories of her childhood. "Yeah, and Vegeta was always getting into trouble! Why, I remember one time, father got him a dragon for his 4th birthday and, of course, we all told him not to fly it inside the castle, but nooooo. He jumped right on and flew that thing right into the royal swimming quarters where the beast fell right into the pool, dragging Vegeta straight to the bottom. Naturally, it was big sister to the rescue, so I dove in and dragged him out. The poor little thing was in shock and couldn't even talk." Everyone burst out laughing, except for Vegeta, who was tapping his finger on the table in annoyance. "That's funny...I remember it differently. Sure I got a new dragon and was flying it around when I was told not to, but if I recall correctly, a certain Saiyajin was flying her own dragon around the pool as well. Call me crazy, but I recall that other Saiyajin purposely ramming her dragon into mine, causing it to fall into the pool along with me. Then, as I struggled to the surface, YOU were pointing and laughing!" Mandy froze as everyone's gaze feel upon her. She chuckled nervously. "Oh no...you're mistaken...Like I said, you were in shock, so you probably don't remember anything." Vegeta's face turned red as he grit his teeth. "No...I remember perfectly...you're the one who's mistaken." "Nope, I'm right. Just accept it." Vegeta grit his teeth harder and balled his fists as his sister started another childhood story.

"And then there was this other time when the royal lake was drained temporarily, exposing a bunch of clams and stuff. And of course, at Vegeta's young age, these things were interesting to him, so he decided to venture into the thick mud to retrieve a really big one. Any moron would have known he'd get sucked in, but apparently, Vegeta isn't your average moron. So there he was, screaming for help as he got sucked into the mud. So, being older and stronger, I ran out there, risking my own life to pull him out. It was so funny, cuz he was wearing his favorite boots, which he claimed were the source of his power, and father made him throw them away since they were ruined. So he got upset about that and started crying." Again, everyone burst out laughing as Vegeta glared at them angrily. "You're wrong again! I went out there because you threatened to strangling me in my sleep if I didn't! And you didn't pull me out, father did! AFTER he managed to pry you off his arm as you attempted to hold him back!" Everyone gasped and looked at Mandy again. "And the boots which you claimed were the source of your power? Was that wrong too?" Goku asked. Vegeta slumped down in his chair a bit. "No...that part was true." Goku snickered a little before he and everyone else burst into laughter again, completely forgetting the fact Mandy had lied twice.
