Yes, another fan of Sailor Uranus (Haruka) and Sailor Neptune (Michiru)...so you've seen enough of these people...TOO BAD!! At first, I was a bit taken back when I found out the truth about these two lovebirds, but after a while of learning about them from various websites and people's email, I've learned that they are much more than just a couple. They are mentally a part of each other. It's almost as if one were to trip, the other would catch her before she realized what she was doing...They remind me of Yin and Yang...the sea and the sky, ketchup and mustard, shoes and socks; okay, getting a bit off track, there... ^^
I admire Michiru as a fantastic artist, who paints pictures that not even words can descibe. Her paintings are so deep (literally) that you have to feel a bit moved by them. Her violin music is just breath-taking...She's also very intelligent. As sweet as she can be, she also has a, what I consider, very 'cold' side to her when the time and situation is right. She's like a tiger: beautiful and powerful, yet she can be vicious when necessary. As Neptune, she is very agile and quick. Plus, just look at that hair and her shoes...what style! ^^
I admire Haruka as a very outgoing, determined person. She who has the looks of a guy, yet the heart of a spiritual woman; not 'girl', woman...The speed of 10 cheetas...The grace of a dolphin...I'm sure many guys secretly *wish* they could be as talented as she, as well as popular with the girls. ^_~ She also speaks her mind, without 'sugar-coating' everything. If you have a website that she doesn't think is good enough, it basically SUCKS in her opinion. As Uranus, she's very strict about telling her business to the other senshi, but she has her reasons. She likes to be private, more so than everyone being in her business.
Q: So, how do you feel about the whole 'cousins' thing that the dub created?
It doesn't bother me as much as it does to others. I know that they are not really cousins, or related biologically in any way, but I don't get pissed off at the dub for doing that. It sucks that America can't accept people for who they are, but we can't control what people will watch (or let their children watch). There's no reason in forcing people to like Michiru and Haruka's relationship. There really isn't much more that the dub could have done to them: sisters? friends?...uh, yeah...sure...they're ONLY friends...children aren't as stupid as some people think and I think that they would figure it out sooner than we thought.
