Both of which were references to the bright lights and vibrant activity that the city boasted now that it was revived. Deep beneath the bright lights and loud sounds of New Tokyo lay the concrete sprawl which was once its former glory. The old Tower sits slanted and broken; and amongst the ruins of Old Tokyo, there spawned New Tokyo's true lifeblood: the Dynamic Soul Circuit.
The DSC is a cruel, brutal fighting circuit that uses the entire ruin as its arena. If the ruins themselves represent the dark side of New Tokyo's architechture, then the DSC would symbolize the darkness found within the citizens and survivors. What's more is that in these ruins, the DSC cultivates and unleashes the darkness. The DSC is like a world unto itself where fledgeling warriors make their mark and champions defend their title with unspeakable force and ferocity.
