Jushirou Homura
Jushirou was a promising member of the Sankaku HS Kendo Club. An underclassman and good friend to both Keiko Ishida and Hayato Kagetsura, Jushirou had the utmost respect for and from his peers. Unfortunately, Jushirou was a troubled and insecure young man. While Jushirou was an excellent swordsman, he felt that his skill was constanty challenged and overshadowed by Keiko.
On one occasion where Jushirou accompanied Hayato on an assignment to exorcise vengeful spirits from one of New Tokyo's prominent mansions, things took a saddening turn. As Hayato began the rites, one of the spirits attacked Jushirou. What Hayato didn't realize as he rescued his friend, was that Jushirou's hidden feelings of envy and insecurity were violently released and spilling to the surface from within.
The result was a drastic change in Jushirou's personality and manner of speech. A change that later triggered and assault on Keiko that seriously wounded her. Before Jushirou could deliver the killing blow, Hayato came to the rescue and engaged him in sword-to-sword combat. The scars across Jushirou and Hayato's faces are grim reminders of that particular duel.
Since Jushirou was so exceedingly well versed at swordplay, his skills immediately caught the attention of the Midnight Devils group at Onikage HS as well as the faculty. Jushirou was immediately recruited to join the Lone Wolves Kendo Team and quickly rose in the ranks to become its captain. Like Hayato, Jushirou carries a steel blade instead of a bokken and uses it to channel his energies along the edge to create devastating slashes. The particular trademark of his attacks is his ability to command the residual energies of the spirit that attacked him to secrete a poisonous energy from the edge of his sword, "Keiretsu." His disregard for the survival of his opponents is the perfect match for his virulent swordstrokes.
