Thomas lived in the cold, yet cheery and productive atmosphere of Anchorage for half his life. During his early childhood, Thomas' mother continually told him stories of brave knights and the beautiful princesses they loved and rescued. Ever since then, he dreamed of becoming a knight in shining armor ready to rescue a lovely princess in her darkest hour. So, Thomas asked his father to teach him how to forge swords and do other types of metalwork. During his summers, he enlisted the aid of a retired European swordsman/fencer to begin his training.
Into his teen years, Thomas and his family had moved from Anchorage to Rosemont and Thomas loved every minute. He took up surfing and on the beaches as well as all around the city, he saw gorgeous ladies whom he had aspired to rescue when endangered. However, his innocent chivalry became lecherousness when puberty hit. So, Thomas doesn't have the best of luck with the ladies. During his stay in Rosemont, though, his built a close friendship with Ace Branden and his family. All the while, he trained to eventually become the top blacksmith and swordsman in Rosemont.
