Character Stats and Techs: Damian Ramirez
Like Daniel, Damian's gameplay is dependent on accessable, switchable stances. However, these stances are based on various martial arts and learning each of them requires a Kata Text. Damian's attack controls involve inputing the commands for his combo and special attacks with the chance of having his strikes either defended or countered. In all stances except Aikijutsu, when the decision to attack is made, a command display will appear with four options. They are Light Attack, Medium Attack, Heavy Attack, and Cancel. Here are the three styles he starts with:
- Kempo: Damian's personalized Kempo style places emphasis on his naturally speedy attacks. Most of the combos are of average length. 4 to 6 hits on average.
- Aikijutsu: It's all about counters. Using the attack command, Damian only strikes once. However, if Damian defends and is attacked, there is a chance for him to initiate a Counterstrike combo.
- Kickboxing: A combination of Thai and Western kickboxing disciplines, Damian's Kickboxing stance focuses on various kicks and joint strikes to deliver crushing blows to his target.
Damian earns WExp. much like Daniel for each successful Combo attack landed. As he gains more WExp, his Style Lore will increase. The higher his rank, the more Excel Techniques he will have access to. All of Damian's Excels are specialized command combos with unique finishers based on the current Style Stance he's in.
