SYNAPSIS: Yumébara is an epic tale based on the real life adventures and dreams of six friends. All these attended their eighth year of grade school together at Luther Jackson Middle School in the northern Virginia area of the US. When this year came to a close, the friends had to say goodbye, seeing as how they now had to go their seperate ways. In honor of their friendship, Loretta Scott decided to write a story about the dreams and adventures they had, and about the relationships they shared. As she wrote the story, she gave each of her friends japanese character names that would represent their personalities, along with special, even magical powers that friends wish they could have in the real world. Making her and their dreams seem to come alive, Loretta, also known as "Koe-chan", began to write the adventure we know now as Yumébara, or the english version Loretta hopes to publish one day, called Dreams and Roses.
