Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya (02)
Davis is almost like the Tai of 02: he likes soccer, he's the new digidestined leader, he's even inherited Tai's goggles. In personality, the two also have similarities:both are go-get-'em types who would rather charge at the enemy than stand around discussing strategy, both are stubborn, and both would put themselves at risk to save any of the others. Tai is Davis' role model, and Davis is happy to have this new position. He's a dependable friend, but can be a bit erratic. His emotions run high and he often loses his cool.
Unfortunately, Davis takes a while to learn the ropes. Tai recognises something of himself in the younger boy and so appoints him leader, but at first it seems like Davis is ill-suited to the task. Impulsive, insensitive and at times, extremely arrogant ("am I good or what?!"), it seems like he's just in it for the fun of fighting action, teaching the Emporer a lesson, and being near Kari. But after a while, he learns what makes friendship powerful, and that is an important turning point for him.
Davis is very smitten with Kari; Kari does not appreciate his advances but this would not be so bad on its own except that he a) can tend to ignore/be mean to anyone who isn't her, and b) gets madly jealous of any competition. As such, there is a lot of hostility between Davis and TK, most of which is initiated/provoked by Davis, at least at first. Everyone else becomes increasingly annoyed by Davis' self-promotion, bragging and bad ideas, and so some episodes are quite full of Davis-bashing on the parts of the other characters. In fact, they can be quite mean; Yolei makes snide comments, Cody points out his stupidities, Kari scoffs at his jokes, and TK... well, you know.
He was also the first of them to offer friendship to Ken; the two became best friends soon after. It seemed a little strange, because Davis seemed to be the one who disliked Ken the most; he would say mean things about him and loved to attack him, and Ken did some pretty horrible things, but as soon as Ken changed, Davis was trying to convince the others to let Ken join them. He has a big heart, he doesn't bear grudges. Davis does deserve the digiegg of Friendship, although at first he couldn't pick up the egg as he didn't understand enough about being a friend. His other digiegg is Courage. Davis is definitely brave: he's perfectly willing to charge into dangerous action, and when enemies appear, he usually glares at them rather than looking worried. He hates sitting around doing nothing, and he has a definite sense of duty toward the digital world and his friends. He'll do what it takes to help.
Another thing that comes to mind about Davis is he's a slob. He snores loudly, he drools in his sleep, he eats constantly, his room is messier than Tai's (a dubious distinction),he isn't some clean freak.

Comments:
Ya Davis' hair is a nice color, lol. And thank god he hasnt inherited the gigantic haired leader genes when he was contaminated by Tai's goggles. I do admire his idiocy at times. always the last to get with the program, but always the first to brighten up a fucked up situation! When he's talking all courageously, it DOES actually make a lotta sense sometimes!! Ya, thats pretty much Davis. What i dont understand is why his clothes change in the digi world, but thats a different story i wont get into right here.....DEATH TO SORA
Comments:Davis is my DARLING boi! I prefer Ken but..i love Davis too! he's mines..he is stubborn and is neglected by all the digitdestines. But you gotta hand it to him on all those RIGHT things he has done like in Ken's Base did he leave? no he made everything right when all the digidestines doubted the situation. What little faith they had in Davis!
