Storm

I spent about ten minutes explaining what I saw in my vision to Trunks and he looked at me and nodded taking the information in about Alethea still being left in his world.
“Are you sure you know if Alethea’s alive?” Trunks asked.
I nodded. “Yes positive. I saw her with my own eyes. I thought Yamcha would of told you.” I replied. “But he obviously thought I should, if he hadn’t mentioned it to you.”
The sound of an air craft interrupted us and we looked over. Gohan smiled.
“Hey I bet you that’s Bulma. I’ll go tell her where we are.” Gohan leaped up and took off towards the sound of the air craft.
Trunks looked over at the time machine and he walked up to it slowly and looked at it. I looked at the machine myself.
“Where about’s was Alethea in your vision?” Trunks asked not taking his eyes off the time machine. I looked at him.
“With a witch called Baba. She hasn’t been training apart from the few years I trained her myself. I don’t know much about my other self of your world but she obviously thought it best to stay hidden. At least until she found the plans.” I replied.
Trunks looked at me. “You know about the safe guard of the androids?” He asked.
I looked at Trunks and remembered while flying to this location that Trunks and Gohan had been talking about stopping the reign of terror that would come with the android attacks. At least I knew those attacks would never come the only problem now was Cell. I looked at the time machine and then to Trunks.
“I know of the safe guards.” I replied. “I can’t say any more at this stage.”
Trunks nodded slowly. We looked round and found a place to sit and wait for Bulma to land.

Watching Trunks with the squirrel’s was probably the most strangest thing I’d seen in real life I’d never actually seen one coming from the city and all and watching the acorns being handed out well... it was cute. I rubbed my temples and took a deep breath I knew the virus was striking me as I was sitting there waiting for Bulma but being as stubborn as I was I didn’t let on. I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of the birds chirping and just for a small moment I felt as if I was in a real world. Feeling the wind blow and the birds sing and the squirrel’s as one leapt up on to my lap I ran my finger across the fur. It felt so real like actual fur. Just coming back from the real world I realised I’d become obsessed with the animated to real world differences. So much I didn’t really notice Bulma land until she began talking to Trunks I looked up from where my eyes had been on the squirrel.
I watched the conversation go back and forward Bulma always obsessed with her looks. In all honestly what woman isn’t though. I could bore people with the details of being a female in my world. But I didn’t I just sat there. I watched then as Trunks threw his capsule to the side and his time machine appeared.
The squirrel climbed up my arm and settled on my shoulder I watched curiously as Trunks continued to the other capsule the one Cell left behind and he rubbed the moss off revealing the writing of “Hope!!” on the side.

I brushed some of my hair behind my ear and I stood up. moving next to Bulma I watched as Trunks opened the older capsule up and got inside pulling out the two shell halves that had once held the creature Cell. I knew if I could get better faster I could take him out before he could do any harm. I was a second level super saiyan. The problem was I could alter these people and their timeline. Goku would live. As much as I wanted that. It would just have the rest of the timeline disrupted.
I was jolted from my worrying thoughts as Trunks spoke as he pushed the controls of the time machine.
“It looks like there’s not much energy left in here.” he pushed a few more buttons.
I slumped back down to sit and I felt the sudden pain jolt up through me and I squeezed my eyes shut as if trying to wish the pain away. Trunk words went past me as my ears seemed to block out the sensation of hearing properly. It was strong this virus and I pulled out the antidote and took some placing it back in my pocket. taking a deep breath I placed my hand to the side of me on the rock I was sitting on.
“Is. Is it possible that he’s the one who changed history?” Trunks asked. “There can’t be any other explanation.”
I looked up the antidote worked pretty fast. But I knew that I had to get some rest and fast to recover. After all I wanted to face Cell before he got out of hand.

Minutes passed as did the conversation. I stayed put as Gohan and Trunks moved on to discover the skin of Cell’s I heard Bulma let out a scream and she ran back to where I was and I looked at her. She looked more paler than usual.
“What’s up?” I asked.
“This thing what ever it is. It. It. Shed it’s skin.” She stammered.
I nodded. “Gross huh?”
Bulma looked at me and she titled her head to the side. “Lee. You seem so calm this creature could still be out there.”
“It is out there. But we can’t do anything until it shows itself.” I replied.
Bulma blinked and she looked over as I took in another deep breath and I pulled the antidote out and I swished the liquid round in it’s small container.
“Lee oh no.” Bulma dropped down to my side and she brushed my fringe off my forehead and she felt my forehead. “You’re burning up.”
Trunks and Gohan came walking out of the shrubbery moments later making Bulma jump startled. Gohan looked at me I looked back at him. For some reason I could see more clearly. In Gohan’s features he had Goku’s eyes and they were filled up with the same concern in them like back on Yardrat.
“Lee how do you feel?” Trunks asked.
I nodded. “Well enough considering...” I replied.
“Can you fly?” Gohan asked.
“Yeah...” I replied.
“Okay then lets get you back to Master Roshi’s quickly you need to rest.” Gohan said.

The landing at Master Roshi’s came sooner than I thought with Trunks helping and Gohan helping me. Matariki ran up to me from the side of the house and she looked at me. Gohan blinked and he looked at Matariki.
“Lee?” He questioned.
“Gohan my cousin Matariki. Matariki this is Gohan.”
“Uuhh hi.” Gohan said.
“Is Iris and boy still here?” I asked.
Matariki nodded. “Iris is meditating on the other side of the Island and has been since you left and Neil is there two watching her.”
I nodded slowly. “Okay I just need to rest for a bit Matariki I want you to keep those two from biting each other’s head’s off I know how much they clash.” I said.
Matariki smiled at me brightly. She had no idea of the dangers that threatened this world. I suppose I preferred it that way.
Gohan and Trunks helped me inside while Matariki went round to the other side of the Island to check on my sole living best friend and my brother.

By the time we entered the house I felt the side of my head throbbing with such pain that I thought it was an over powered migraine. But the chest pains told otherwise it felt as if my heart was expanding and my rib cage shrinking and my whole insides were being crushed causing my breathing to fall even more shallow and my head spinning everything was so hard to concentrate on.
I saw Yamcha stand up as I was brought in and Krillen looked over at me and he blinked. “You found her. What a relief.” He remarked.
I looked up as Yamcha hoovered over me and he helped me up from leaning on Trunks. “Lee what happened? It wasn’t the androids was it?” he asked.
I knew he was looking to Trunks and Gohan for an explanation. “Yamcha I’m afraid it’s the virus it started attacking her while we were at the sight of the other time machine. It got worst when we flew. Gohan and I had to support her.”
I felt Yamcha tilt my head up and look me in the eyes. Everything was blurring and I had trouble focusing. I leant on him. Now was as good as any time to get dramatic.
“The thing is the last android.” I said to Yamcha.
“Thing?” Yamcha looked to Trunks.
“What ever it is came back in my time machine from the future. It’s been here for four years now.” Trunks explained.
Yamcha blinked. “No way? But why surface only now?”
“It needed time to get back to it’s stronger form. Now it has to be stopped or this world and it’s population will be destroyed.” I said and took in a deep breath. I felt like every part of my body was losing strength. “Stop it from getting to seventeen and eighteen. If it absorbs them then it’s big trouble.” I let go of Yamcha suddenly and flopped to the ground I held the sides of my head as I felt the throbbing getting stronger and stronger.
“Lee.” I looked up as Trunks knelt in front of me and he pulled out the antidote from my pocket and he helped me swallow some and I looked at him. “We need to get you to lie down if you’re up and about the virus will strike you faster.”
I nodded and I felt Yamcha pick me up. “We’ll let you rest upstairs with Goku.”
“With Goku?!” I exclaimed suddenly panicked part of me wasn’t ready to face him after his warning back in my world the way he had looked at me. It was the whole Devil Advocate speech thing. ‘Look but don’t touch, touch but don’t taste...
“Ssshhhh Lee calm down you two can recover together.” I looked at Yamcha as he carried me up the stairs to the room where Goku was.

There was a pause at the door and I looked at Yamcha. He kissed me gingerly on the lips, it made me remember part of the reason for why I had come back.
Yamcha opened the door and Chi-chi and Turtle looked up from where they were. Master Roshi brought in another mattress and Yamcha lay me down on it.
“You need... the name...” I said to Yamcha I felt suddenly so much weaker than I had been a few minutes before it was like the virus was sucking my strength from me like Imhotep sucking the life from his American victims in ‘The Mummy’.
“Lee- don’t you’re wasting your energy.” Yamcha said.
“The-name-of-the-creature...” I coughed and chuckled dryly. I called Cell the creature I never thought I would use Ardeth Bay’s terminology for the bringer of Armageddon.
“His-name-it.. it’s- Sa... arrrhh.” The pain stuck like a thousand knives hitting me all in the heart at once a thousand knives in an expanding heart with in an interior body compressing in on itself.
Yamcha gave me some more of the antidote and I felt the sleep hit me suddenly. I could still feel Yamcha’s presence as he brushed hair from my face and covered me with a blanket. I felt him stand up and speak to Master Roshi.
“I can’t lose her. Alethea can’t either.”
“She was about to say the name of this last android. Looks like we’ll have to wait till she wakes up.” Master Roshi replied.
“You guys leave me to watch over them for now.” Chi-chi spoke up.
“Right.” Yamcha replied and I heard the door shut. Yamcha and Master Roshi’s footsteps heading down the stairs were the last thing I heard before completely passing in to the world of unconsciousness...

While in the world of unconsciousness I saw more visions the group of us lined up on the cliff watching Gohan Cell standing there and the cell jnrs coming tearing towards us. ‘Would peace ever come in this world?’ I thought as the vision played out and seeing the cell jnrs attack everyone but for some reason there wasn’t one coming after me.

Cell just looked my way and he smiled at me. There was something behind that smile. I looked down at him and he motioned me forward with the beckon of a finger. Taking in a breath I jumped off the cliff and walked up to Cell and he looked at me. He looked to Gohan.
“Where I come from Leona is your girlfriend. Now you will show me this ultimate power or she too like this android will die.”
I looked over to the pieces of android sixteen scattered everywhere.
“Leona!” I heard Yamcha shout at me.
The brief distraction made me turn to look at Yamcha before he was clobbered to the ground and with that I felt Cell grab me round the neck and pull me up to him.
“You think you’re such hot shit don’t you?” I asked Cell.
He looked down at me and I smirked up at him.
“Shut up girl or I will break you like a twig.” he said. There was a threat laid down on the table but instead of accepting it I rammed my elbow back in to his stomach and I jumped back as he let go and I saw Gohan look at me.
“Gohan this is your fight you’re dad called it for a reason he believes in you. I do to now make us proud.” I said
“You’re already at that level aren’t you?” Gohan asked me stunned. “You could defeat him Lee. Please don’t make me.” He said.
I saw behind those teal eyes that of a boy a scared child.
“Gohan I can’t when you reach the level you will be stronger than even me. I have the power to hold Cell off but I don’t have the power to finish him off. At least not alone. Goku saw this that’s why he picked you.” I replied before jumping up in to the sky and landing back on the side of the cliff I grabbed a cell junior by the neck and pulled it off Yamcha and threw it to the side. I helped Yamcha up and he looked up at me.
“Lee why did you go to Cell.”
“I had to let Gohan know he can do it.” I said.
I saw Cell look at me and then he pointed a finger at me and I felt like a flashback hit me from the series seeing the purple pink streak of energy shoot out and strike Vegeta down. Then I saw the same shoot towards me.
“LEE!” I heard Goku shout at me as this beam of energy reached even closer and for some reason I was frozen and couldn’t move.

I was woken up suddenly what felt like a gentle shake. I sat up letting out a startled cry and I looked up at Goku he was standing up looking as healthy as anything.
“You’re better.” I croaked.
Goku smiled and he picked up the medication from beside where I had been sleeping and he gave me some.
“You though. Lee you’re still terribly sick. I had to wake you. You were suffering.” He said.
I looked at Goku my stomach in butterfly knots. “It was just another vision.”
Goku sat next to me. I looked at him then down to my hands they were sitting nervously on my lap on top of the sheet. Downstairs any bet Chi-chi was sitting with Master Roshi, Turtle, Puar and Oolong. Goku’s hand reached over and he grabbed mine. I looked at Goku again.
“You want to talk about it? The vision that is?”
“Cell. I think he was trying to kill me to get Gohan mad.” I said softly.
Goku looked puzzled. “Why Gohan?” He asked.
“You’ll find out soon enough.” I replied.
Goku smiled and he brushed some hair from my forehead and he placed a fatherly kiss on the forehead. “Get some rest. I’m going to get some training in.”
I nodded and lay back down and Goku pulled the blanket up over me.
I felt my eyes fall shut again. I felt Goku’s presence leave the room through the window. That was just typical of Goku he did seem more like a window person instead of a door person. I knew next time though when I woke up that I’d be okay.

The sleep got easier and more relaxed. I could feel a presence giving me the antidote every time I felt a pain shoot up through me. I guess I must of been crying out loud enough. But every time it seemed as if that antidote was working wonders. I just hoped when I was finally well enough that Iris wouldn’t want to go home. I had to keep her safe while she was in this world before returning her to the other world I knew Seventeen would kill her it was just a matter of what reality was she going to die in and what would happen to Matariki and Neil.

When I woke up I woke up with a start only to find that I had been shifted from upstairs to downstairs and I saw the entire Z team in the lounge. I took in a deep breath and I saw them all turn and look at me. I looked over at Piccolo sitting there he looked back at me. I could feel the energy radiating off him like a beacon he was stronger now. I smirked as he looked back at me it was like he was sensing the same from me.
“Lee.” I heard Yamcha remark and he was down by my side and he took my temperature. I looked at Piccolo as he did it.
“What is it?!” Piccolo growled at me.
“You might just be able to do it. Well defeat eighteen you’re probably about level with seventeen so I’m not sure who’d win there.” I said.
Piccolo looked back at me and he nodded. “So you can tell huh?”
“Yeah merging with Kami made you so much stronger. But to defeat Cell you need more than what you’ve got.” I said.
Yamcha looked at me. “Cell. I knew you were trying to tell me his name but when you fell unconscious it made it that much harder to get it from you.”
Piccolo stood up and he looked at me. “You then must know Cell’s weakness.”
“Yeah sure kill the androids or at least one of them and it’ll stop him from becoming complete. If he becomes complete then the world as we know it won’t survive unless some serious training is in order.” I remarked.
“Goku’s training with Gohan in the hyperbolic time chamber as we speak.” Krillen remarked looking over at me.
“I believe it’s Trunks and Vegeta actually.” I corrected with a smirk.
Yamcha yawned. I flopped back down the mattress and I looked at Yamcha as he lay behind me pulling me close to him. I saw Krillen frown at the two of us and I couldn’t help but smile.
“Jealous Krillen?” Yamcha teased.
Krillen arched an eyebrow at Yamcha.
“Don’t worry Krillen I see a real hottie lined up for you.” I smiled.
Krillen looked at me. “Really?” He asked.
I nodded. “Yeah sure.”
The door opened and Iris walked inside and she looked at me and smiled. “Oh you’re okay! I’m so relieved. It was looking really bad for hours on end.” She said.
I looked at Iris. “I’m okay. I hope you guys took some of the antidote I got a feeling it’s infectious and Iris knowing you-.” I began.
“Been there done that girl.” She said sitting down on the couch.
“Where’s Matariki and Neil?” I asked.
“Oh you know Matariki is building sand castles. She’s such a sweet girl except that language- And Neil is off killing his lunges.” Iris replied.
“If you meet Matariki’s older sisters then you’d know where that language comes from.” I replied remembering Meri and Akuhata’s really diverse vocabulary.

The day passed by slowly and I know I fell asleep with Yamcha lying behind me his arms round my waist. The other Z team members were also lying back sleeping as the day crossed in to night then in to morning.
Since the sun rose up I spent time just lying still listening to the others as they slept. I looked over to see Matariki lying on the couch I smiled. Neil himself was sleeping sitting up in the chair the television going but sitting on mute.
Yamcha sat up and I looked over at him. He looked at me and lay back down. I felt a gentle kiss on the side of the neck where Goku had given me ‘the scar’, Yamcha’s arms then wrapped round me. I looked over at him remembering my premonition.
“We’re alot alike Leona. We’ve both been hurt by ones we care about.”
“I know. But I can’t help but worry about Goku, and the virus-” I was about to add that it could come back being infectious and all but Yamcha cut me off.
“We’re all worried...”
We heard a noise outside and the group round us waking up. I looked round the Z-team standing up and seeing android seventeen outside with eighteen and sixteen.
“Can Goku come out and play?” his voice was so cold.
I backed up a bit feeling the arms again I looked up at the figure seeing Yamcha I looked over to the window again at the android looking in. His eyes looked on mine and he smirked.
“Well well what have we here? I thought I killed you.”
I rolled my eyes. “You have lousy aim.” I replied and stood up.
“Leona stay back.” Piccolo growled at me standing up.
“A turning point it’s the turning point.” I muttered.
Yamcha looked at me. “Already huh?” He asked.
“Stay here. I’ve got to do this.” I said.
“Oh no you don’t.” Piccolo growled at me.
“Hey you weren’t the one beaten out of the sky! This I will handle!” I walked out.
Seventeen looked at me. “So where’s Goku?” He asked.
“Goku’s not here.” I replied. “but how about a rematch?”
Seventeen laughed. “You hardly stood a chance last time.”
“Oh trust me I’m stronger now.” I remarked.
Piccolo walked out and he grabbed me by the arm. “Leona you will get back inside and now. I’ll handle this!”
I looked at Piccolo. “No you won’t. I will you can tag along if you want but I have an old score to settle.” I said.
I saw Piccolo’s expression change to one of pure annoyance but suddenly his face changed from the angry annoyed expression to one of calm and he nodded.
“Fine.”
I looked at Seventeen. “You up for a bit of ass kicking?” I asked.
“You don’t stand a chance. But I’ll humour you.”
I smirked. “Fine then there’s an Island a few miles over that should cater to this.”
“Ladies first.” Seventeen grinned.
I guess he wanted some sort of fun before finding Goku. I knew that it should of been Piccolo but I couldn’t help it I just wanted to test my skills out against him.

Yamcha stood at the door and he looked at me. “Leona are you crazy?”
“Turning point Yamcha don’t worry. I’ll be okay.” I smiled at him and he still looked worried.
“Come back okay.” He said.
“I will.” I lifted up off the ground as did Piccolo and we flew off I saw Seventeen, Eighteen and Sixteen follow us.

We landed on an Island a few miles away from Master Roshi’s and I realised as I landed that Piccolo landed in front of me and I looked at him. His merger with Kami had made him seem more over confidante not like Vegeta over confidante a more positive over confidante.
“I’m fighting Seventeen Leona.” He said sternly.
“But-” I began to protest.
“If Cell is to show up I know I can’t take him. It’s up to you.” Piccolo remarked. I blinked and I looked at Piccolo. He had picked up on my power increase he seemed like the only one who had. He smiled at me and I nodded.
“Okay. But why didn’t you stop me from coming?” I asked.
He looked at me. “You know why.”
“I know the future and the future says that Cell will sense you battling seventeen and yadda yadda he’ll show up here to cause even more awkwardness to the battle scene.” I remarked almost nochently like it had already happened. Truth had it. I knew it had. At least on the television.
Piccolo nodded.
“What backing down?” Seventeen teased.
I shrugged. “Oh no I just don’t want to damage your pretty face.” I teased.
“Lee.” Piccolo scolded me for teasing.
“Sorry right. Your battle I’m backing down.” I replied and I stepped back.
Piccolo and Seventeen’s battle then began.

The power I felt form Piccolo’s merger with Kami was something that almost took my breath away and I didn’t realise I was mesmerised by the strength in Piccolo as him and Seventeen collided as they fought. They were destroying the Island I had so carefully picked out and I frowned jumping to the side as a crack raced past in the ground and it split open.
I sighed and flicked hair over my shoulder and I stood back watching and waiting for Cell’s big arrival. I saw Eighteen begin to look bored as the battle continued. It was like watching two testosterone teenage boys playing.
I walked over to Eighteen and she looked at me. “Don’t tell me you want to fight?”
I shook my head. “Nah I’m just gunna sit here, over there I look like a nif. I’m leaving the fighting up to the men.” I put an emphasis on the word men being that in my mind they were anything but.
Eighteen smiled and she nodded at me. “Yeah boys will be boys.” She remarked.
“Tell me about it. If they think they got a flash car and big stereo system to go with it they think they’re all that.” I replied.
Eighteen looked at me and she nodded. “You don’t seem to worried that I could attack you any moment now.” She said.
I looked at her. “Why should I be? It’s the boys who are handling this.”
“I take it you’ve been through this egotistical thing before?” She asked.
“Yeah I got an eighteen year old younger brother trust me. I’m not to worried.”
Eighteen looked shocked for a second.
“Dr. Gero never programmed us with that knowledge.” Sixteen remarked.
I looked at him and blinked. “Eh? why would Gero be interested in me?”
“You are the one whom Goku had an affair with are you not?” Sixteen asked.
I blinked and looked at Sixteen shocked. “Wait how did you know that?”
“I was programmed with all knowledge of Goku.”
“But that was on Yardrat there’s no way Gero could of known.”
Sixteen looked at me. “When Goku returned from earth Gero still kept watching him. He saw the spell you performed.”
I looked at Sixteen and nodded. “But you’re not going to do something stupid like attack me right?” I asked.
“No I am programmed to destroy Goku.”
“Good. Well not good- good. I mean good that you aren’t programmed to destroy me.” I said. “Ya know being linked to Goku and all.” I added.
I saw Sixteen smile at me there was that friendliness behind the smile and a sort of innocence, not like Goku naive innocence more of a child like innocence the fascination with the world innocence.
I saw Sixteen look off in to the distance at two birds fluttering through the sky in play chase and I watched them for a moment then looked back to Sixteen.

The battle raged on and seeing Seventeen and Piccolo fight like that it was truly amazing. And I let Piccolo do as he pleased I really didn’t want to change their timeline too much so I just stood back and watched. Then the whole switching to another island came along. This time a sat on top of a cliff watching the two fight below while Sixteen and Eighteen were off where they were suppose to be. I had to keep an eye on them for when Cell arrived. I knew in the imperfect stage he was pretty much easy for me to beat the minute he absorbed both the androids I’d have trouble even int eh second level of super saiyan. I was so caught up in watching the battle that I didn’t hear Tien land behind me. I jumped as he put a hand on my shoulder and I looked at him.
“Who’s winning?” He asked.
“It’s about even. And I hate to sound like Vegeta but if Piccolo let me handle this then it’d be over by now.” I said.
I saw Tien give me a smile. “Itching for a fight huh?” He asked.
“Oh no I just don’t want Cell to get his hands on Seventeen or Eighteen, the minute that happens we’re pretty much all goners.” I replied with all honesty.
Tien nodded and he looked over to the battle. “Those androids seem pretty hard core.” He remarked.
“Cell is going to be worst trust me.” I said.
I saw Tien frown and I knew from his expression he believed me. “Well why haven’t you stepped in to end it?”
“Piccolo won’t let me.” I sighed.
“That sounds about right.” Tien remarked.
I suddenly looked over to the side I knew it then instantly. I felt Cell. I stood up as he zipped across my vision and landed on the island.
