Celebrating our Berner Veterans In Loving Memory of Neala Merrimac's Trouble at Midnight January 4th 1997 to March 12th 2010 Owned, loved and now so very sadly missed by Sylvia Katvala and family 
Neala 13 years young This is one of her favorite spots in the backyard. Nice and cool patio. She gotten slower the last year, but most days she walks over half a mile in mornings. Swear she winked and smiled at me when I took the pictures. She is such a great girl. We are so lucky to have Neala still with us. She scared us a few times, but she seem to always pull through. We just love on her and spoil her for as long as she wants to hang around.

"Neala and I drove up to the Grand Canyon State Bernese Mountain Dog Club show. Neala found some nice comfortable grass spot outside the ring in the grass and just watch things and enjoyed herself. When it was our time, she wasn't too excited to get up and go in the ring. She went in and stood, but when I tried to stack her, she rolled the eyes and I said what the heck, she is 10 years old. The judge, Christine Mann, was very nice and Neala liked the attention. On the around Neala found some good smelling stuff and tried to go for it. Lucky she is getting slower about it and gives me time to think what to do, It was so sweet of all to clap for Neala and she looked very pretty to me." Go, Neala! You look gorgeous!
