"Annie crossed The Bridge on 21 October 2002, just 3
months short of her 12th birthday. This photo was taken on her 11th
birthday, 18th January 2002. She was a grand old lady and ruled with
a paw of iron!
Sherri Venditti always used to say her old girl was a PITA dog
and I'm of the opinion that all grand old ladies are PITA dogs,
that's how they get to live so long Annie was certainly that... I
always thought it was the worst possible scenario to lose a dog
young and within a matter of days, it was all I had experience of.
But losing Annie was like losing a limb and I still get phantom
pains"
